My recent stay at the Beijing Tiananmenwangfujing Manxin Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with a sense of tranquility and elegance that set the tone for my entire trip. The hotel's modern design, infused with subtle touches of traditional Chinese aesthetics, creates a truly unique and welcoming atmosphere.
Location, Location, Location:
The hotel's location is unbeatable. Situated just steps away from Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the bustling Wangfujing shopping street, it's the perfect base for exploring the city's iconic landmarks and vibrant culture. The convenient access to the metro station also made it easy to venture further afield.
Comfort and Convenience:
My room was a haven of comfort and style. The spacious layout, plush bedding, and modern amenities provided everything I needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the complimentary bottled water and the well-stocked tea and coffee station.
Exceptional Service:
What truly sets this hotel apart is its exceptional staff. They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always went above and beyond to ensure my stay was as comfortable as possible. I must specifically commend their honesty and efficiency. After I accidentally left a necklace in my room, they promptly contacted me and arranged for its safe return. This act of kindness truly exemplified their commitment to guest satisfaction.
Beyond Expectations:
The Manxin Hotel Wangfujing exceeded my expectations in every way. It's a perfect blend of modern comfort, traditional charm, and outstanding service. Whether you're visiting Beijing for business or leisure, I highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable experience.

All of the service staff are very helpful.
On our first day at check in, one of the male staff helped to allocate all 3 rooms to be on the same level and did early check in for us.
On our second night, another male staff helped my dad with his luggage lock issue and on our third morning this male staff helped us to make a call to the American Tourist Service Centre. The female staff helped me to set the destination address on DiDi as I’m unfamiliar.
On our last day check out, another male staff helped us with our luggages to the car.
Thank you very much for the great hospitality that made our stay very pleasurable!

Super appreciative this hotel let me check in early after a long overnight flight. Staff are very nice and accommodating, and the room is perfect for a solo traveller. Amenities delivered by robot is particularly cute. Location is extremely convenient, less than 10 mins walk from stations on two metro lines, as well as the lively Wangfujing shopping area.
Only improvement is that sound insulation could be better, and at times I could smell cigarette smoke despite the hotel’s policy of no smoking in rooms. But in general I had a pleasant stay and slept well.

The room 1545 was dated design. It was oak wood cabinets, and did not seem like a 5 star designed hotel. It was very clean, and had a 2 bedroom with washer/dryer in the kitchen area which was convenient. We arrived late and the front desk staff did not really help us at all. They did not welcome us, and just did the check-in transaction pretty impersonal. Later during the day the staff was much better. The location is the best in Beijing, close to Forbidden city, and tons of places to eat. Some of the best restaurants in the world are near by. The breakfast buffet could be larger and have more offerings - but even though sparse the food was good and the service was excellent.
Literally no coffee machine in the room, just a tea pot for boiling water and some instant coffee! This was a huge disappointment.
Also, we called Telephone 0 for front-desk and had to do it literally 15 times to get a hotel clerk. And also the clerk did not understand English but still answered the phone as ”Hello”. They should never say English words if they don't speak English. It makes it very frustrating.
No ATM on site, but about 400m down the street at Bank of China. The taxi stand is down the hill but convenient, but don't use Hotel porter since they just call Didi for you.
Could be better, needs to modernize - but fantastic location.
Oh, the Patisserie / Coffee shop on Level 1 is excellent but not open until 10am. No idea why!
The indoor pool is great - but you need to get a head cap for 30 RMB.

Our second time staying here. Great location right on Quianmen street and Zhushikou subway station a few minutes walk away. The hotel offers free dumplings each evening which is a lovely touch. The room has a hairdryer and air conditioning and toiletries provided. The reception area has cucumber water and nice relaxing areas. If using the subway Zhushikou use exit A for the hotel. The only thing is the bed is very hard and left my back aching, despite this I would stay here again. Its a good price for the location.

the serenity and tranquility calmed all my frustration trying to find this hotel, look for the odd looking building across from the metro station, exit A and look for the little driveway.... it's a absolute hidden gem. as soon as I got to my room overlooking the courtyard, I booked an extra night without question. the layout of the room is so comfortable. everything is electronic, temperature, curtains and doors. if you are an introvert and want to order food, the robot will bring it up for you, contactless.
The location is close enough to everything but just far enough you don't hear the traffic except for staff working on the building or deliveries in the morning. the front desk was helpful with my first delivery order and knew exactly what I was looking for in regards to sightseeing. there is a bit of a language barrier with technology today (alipay translation, wechat and baidu translation) everything worked out with some creativity. all part of the adventure anyways.
there is a self service laundry room which is super convenient, it is a commercial unit so no need for detergent but they do have it available in case you have a stain. breakfast is a mix of western and Chinese but I am a vegetarian so my breakfast choices is limited but they do have a full on noodles bar.
two item to consider: 1) my shower flooded every night I was here and the staff cleaned it up when I called, the hot water is consistent and welcomed after each long day of walking. 2) your door will randomly start beeping in the middle of the night and it is Becuase the door is not closed properly (automatic), I just put the coffee table against it instead of calling the front desk at 4am in the morning.
overall, I loved my visit (the decor, the privacy and friendliness of the staff) and I hope you do too.

A truly excellent 5-star hotel (if not better) in a great location with wonderful staff in and around the premise!
Of special mention is the Front Office Manager, Mr Su Yan, who quickly and tirelessly helped salvage an issue with a friend who was initially part of the booking for the Twin-room. As this friend had submitted his passport to an embassy for a visa, he couldn't check in with me. As a result, a request was made for a double bed for single occupancy which was promptly met without incurring further charges.
All staff, from the front office to housekeeping, maintained their courteous smiles and greetings throughout my 4 nights/5 days stay. This included even those at the restaurant for breakfast, who were quick to usher their guests to their tables, and to promptly serve the desired beverage.
Breakfast was sumptuous with a good variety of choices from Western to Chinese, and even Japanese.
My room was always cleaned as soon as I left for breakfast and this made it pleasant to return to the room, to plan the outings for the day.
The subway, which was within walking distance helped with getting around Beijing without the hassle of being caught up in the horrific traffic which seems to be a common feature of this city.
This was truly a spendid trip staying at this gem of a hotel that I had even contemplated extending my stay for another 2 nights. However, duty beckoned me to check out to return to work.
I look forward to returning to this hotel once more should the opportunity present itself and I'm hoping that it'll be sooner too!

This was my second stay in a month at Baifuyi. The first time was two weeks ago, I took a domestic flight from this hotel to Daxing airport. This time I returned to Beijing from Daxing airport and took an international flight at the capital airport. In short, it is close to both airports in Beijing. It's also close to the city center. I got off the plane just over 2pm and took the subway to the hotel just over 4pm.
In the evening, when the traffic is busiest, take a ride to Houhai to have dinner and a night out. The taxi fare is only over 30 yuan a trip, indicating that the road is not far. Back to the hotel at night is by subway. 🚇 On the way we went to the Ginza Mall to buy some fruit 🍎 and drink. it was less than ten o'clock we were back to the hotel. It's as if in this hotel, after getting off the plane, you can enjoy the beauty of Beijing immediately.
And this time because we have one more person, five of us. We got an apartment suite. The two-bedroom, three-bathroom suite is newly renovated, well equipped and very clean. There is a large two-door fridge, a fully automatic washing machine, and a microwave and gas oven. There is more than 100 square meters of space for five of us, more than enough.
It was originally planned for five people to book two hotel rooms. Now it is more affordable and convenient to book a suite.
👍 The rooms all have balconies and large glass flooring, so you don't have to go outside and see the beautiful scenery of Beijing.
The excellence of the customer service was also one of the reasons we chose to come back. Jack Fan at the front desk, very aware of the fatigue of the travelers, he quickly completed the check in, so that we can easily get on board.
Whether I'm in China or abroad, I prefer to book a hotel rather than a bed and breakfast when I travel. Although the hotel is more expensive, there are strict government regulations on fire prevention, burglary and hygiene. Stay at peace of mind in a hotel. I don't think B & B will tell you about the floor plans and escape routes. But it is a must for all star-rated hotels. The advantages of a bed and breakfast are spacious and convenient. At Baifuyi in Beijing, we enjoyed the delicate luxury of the star-rated hotels and the spacious and relaxing nature of the B & B.

Excellent service and cleanliness. The hotel provides all amenities including a self service washer dryer which is very useful for those who travel light. Their receptionist and cleaning ladies were very helpful, always entertaining our needs with a cheerful smile. They even allow us to check in early and checkout late as we arrived early morning and flew off in the late evening. They even provide free supper between 10pm to 11pm! The location is just 3 minutes walk from Sanyuanqiao metro station. Perfect for our trip to Beijing!

JjtravelsService was excellent from checking in to checking out. They are very helpful and English communication is not a problem. The rooms are very clean, good shower, and comfortable bed. The breakfast (48rmb) is also delicious. Free gym and self washing area with dryer. The only downside is that it is a 15mins walk to the nearest subway and not much to do or see in the area. It is value for money!
HHumphrey JrOverall I would say we enjoyed our stay, I was looking for a good place to bring my girl and treat her and She loved it!The staff was very friendly and the service was great. The location is pretty far but it’s quite worth it, the view from the balcony is amazing. So if you’re looking for a get away from the city this is the right place, it’s very quiet and peaceful.
UUzManEverything is great if you stay alone but I stayed in this hotel with my friend and I didn't like the wall of restroom because it was glass wall and the other's good. if I will stay in Beijing I will choose Qiuguo Hotel
PphottigimathThe service was really good. We enjoyed the stay. The staff was very friendly. It is very near to the railway station, so it was really convenient. I should really appreciate the cleanliness, the rooms and the bathrooms were extremely clean. It was an amazing stay. All the staff did a really great job. Extremely happy.
PS: the receptionist was very handsome. So extra happy😁
TTinaMI was only here for 3 nights, but had an extremely comfortable stay. The rooms are large and very well equipped - there is a fridge, microwave, kettle and a really good washer/dryer, which was such a blessing for me after a month of traveling. This is essentially a serviced apartment, but they also have a lovely lounge/kitchen in the basement, with a coffee machine that I may have used a little too much 🤣 It was good coffee and I was really glad for it at the start of a busy day. Their housekeeping staff is lovely as well, as is their security/doorman with the kindest smile. The reception staff went above and beyond to help me with my many queries. I had some delayed deliveries arrive at the hotel after I checked out, unfortunately, and although I'm sure my many requests may have been rather irritating as my friend in Beijing attempted to reroute/collect the late deliveries from the hotel, never once did the hotel staff convey a hint of frustration to me. They were so kind and gracious throughout, and I am genuinely grateful for that.
The hotel's location is an absolute chef's kiss 🤌 There are 2 major subway stations at equal distance from the hotel, and you can pick the station based on which line you need. The hotel is located by the hutongs west of Dongsi, right at the end of the LongfuSi complex, which is essentially a long line of fantastic pubs, cafes, restaurants, and also functions as a community/park of sorts, so you will see lots of families and people walking their dogs in the evenings - I'm not quite sure how to describe it, but it's a very uniquely ”Beijing” experience, not one you would experience out on the busy main roads. One of my favourite things was just walking back from the subway station and getting to immerse myself in this environment before arriving at Base. Also, I read some reviews saying it is inaccessible for taxis - this is not true, as there is a wide enough road for cars; your DiDi driver just won't be able to wait for you as there is no parking on the main street, so you'll need to be waiting for them outside. It was very convenient for my driver to pick me up when I checked out.
Thank you to the courteous reception staff for putting up with all my queries and shenanigans! I'm genuinely grateful and hope to be back again very soon (hopefully next time with fewer questions, but no promises!)
AAH 86I had a wonderful stay with my little one.
The staff were very attentive from the moment we arrived and so patient when I had an issue checking in.
My daughter also took part in a cake decorating class during our stay and she thoroughly enjoyed.
The pool was quite large for hotels in Beijing, and the gym met needs.
Yael on the front desk, Andy for in room dining, Paolo and the team at Dacappo restaurant made our stay comfortable down to the last detail. The breakfast had enough choice, and the in-room dining portions were generous.
We will be recommending to friends, but will also come back again 😃
AAnne KellyLovely hotel, there is a spiral stair up to our room, front desk guy are so helpful. Help bring up our 2 big luggages to our room. Room are so cozy, room comes with a balcony with table for 4. Environment are so beautiful. Floor comes with warmer, so even outside is 5 degrees we don’t even feel cold. Once step outside is tourist spot with food & shop. Train station just 5 mins walk. We really love this hotel.
GGuest UserThe hotel is within minutes of walking distance to the subway station - Zhushikou exit A. The reception is good except mediocre English. Housekeeping is not 24hrs. We were surprised as we had asked for replenishment of mineral water at abt 1030pm. There is no closet except for a stand with 4 clothes hangers. One of reception staff is very good, he helped booked a cab for airport and accompanied us while waiting for the driver.

GGuest UserIf you’re a foreigner looking to engage in nightlife and want a diverse range of cuisines both regional Chinese and foreign you really can not be this location. Half way between Sanlitun and Gulou/Houhai it’s really such a great location. Close to subways and a reasonable distance from the forbidden city. Rooms were clean, daily turn down service and friendly staff! You’ll probably need to use a translation app, though.
TTess BeijingVery dated for a 5* Hotel, especially the TV. Didn't feel like a 5* hotel compared to others we have stayed at in Beijing.
Highlight was the bath. The aircon did not work properly and was a very uncomfortable stay with it being too hot in the room.
Don't think we would stay again.
