We just stopped for one night— en route from MO to ME— In the morning as we were getting ready to leave, I dropped my (gas permeable special order) contact lens and heard it hit the porcelain and leave sight. I just knew it had gone down the drain. I panicked. My husband suggested I call the front desk. I tried to calmly explain what had happened as I panicked. The lady that answered said she’d call me right back. Just a couple minutes later there was a knock at the door. It was Rose and Katie, as we now know. They explained that the maintenance guy wasn’t there right now. (It was a Sunday morning) Rose had some very big metal tools. She immediately got down to the ground under the sink to take a look. (Katie let me know that she had also had contacts since she was 12 like me so she knew how devastating this was.) My husband as Rose took turns on the plumbing to get the pipes undone. Once the pipes were off we started the excavation. We first ran water through the faucet to flush it. We collected it in an ice bucket and searched the runoff. No luck. Next we focused on the disconnected pipe. There is a lot of sludge in pipes. So Rose started the excavation on the pipe, working over a towel and an ice bucket to pan the sludge. Meanwhile Katie and I searched the floors, drain, etc… sometimes with the lights off because she said that was helpful to see the shining on the lens. Her fastidiousness and resolve kept me calm. I was giving up. It had been easily an hour and a half. I was ready to move on. I was telling everyone thanks for the help but it was going to be ok and that we should all stop the effort. Then, like a beacon in a storm, Katie came over with some sludge in a coffee filter, poking at something with a coffee stir stick and saying, “Is this it? Is it shriveled up?” I examined the specimen incredulously at first and then with a mix of stun, horror, and amazement I pushed my finger down into the muck and there it was, cupping to my finger like my good little lens: The Contact. Post script: Turns out Rose was the breakfast lady! We were like ha we missed breakfast and she saved us some (she recommends the sausage biscuit) Then she told me to take a banana for my husband because he looked a little shaky. We don’t know Katie’s roll at the hotel but I’m assuming she’s on her way to the very top! Thanks again ladies, we’ll certainly never forget! Lovely ladies. We’ll never forget. Thank you!!!

I do not recommend this property. The room was not clean. The desk chair and sofa had stains all over them. I did not dare open the fridgerator or the cabinets and the kitchenette for fear of what I might find. The bathroom shower had mold stains. The water pressure was very low and the shower head did not work to change the spray to a different type allowing for better pressure. All corners of the room looked like they had never been cleaned. The king bed had two small pillows and the linens looked like somebody had already slept on them. All of the lampshades in the room look like they had not been cleaned for ages. Two of the four lamps did not even work. Much of the hotel clientele look like they live here. Lots of people smoking in areas where they should not be. The hallways were filthy with linens and towels piled up at the end near housekeeping. There are no USB charging ports in the room. I had to rotate all of my technology between the one USB plug that I packed. The Wi-Fi is also a bit spotty. I did not feel very safe at this hotel. I was so thankful I was only here one night for business travel. I always read reviews before I book anywhere. However, in this instance I booked without doing so due to having to make an urgent business trip. I won’t make the same mistake again.

American breakfast is simple but not bad. It is a gathering place for parents of Lehigh University, and it only takes seven or eight minutes to walk to the school.

We have stayed here for more than a week, the overall facilities of the hotel are very good, the only thing is that the breakfast is not good, the breakfast variety is very small, and it is exactly the same every day. The room design is bright, the bathroom faucet is fast, and there are simple kitchen facilities such as refrigerator microwave sink tableware. There is a gym laundry pool in the lobby. The hotel is recommended

Parking is easy, the ****** is bright airy and inviting. They have so many slot machines you have to find many of your favorite slots. They have an amazing amount of food options. We ate at the Italian fast food stand in the food court and the food was delicious and fairly priced. The bathrooms are immaculate.

We recently spent an overnight stay at ”HOTEL BETHL EHEM” to celebrate our ”60th Wedding Anniversary”. It was the most fasinating & awesome place we have ever stayed at. We have owned a time share for 20 years & have probably stayed at as many as 50 different resorts & to us they were all wonderful. But this experience was just over whelming. Our room was outstandingly beautiful, perfectly clean & more lovely then we could even try to describe. The staff was the best, we ate at the hotel in there terrace room & that was as beautiful as anyplace I have ever seen. The food was top notch & there breakfast in their tap room was above all... totally delicious. My only wish is that I would have stayed here before. We only live 45 minutes from here & this was our first visit. Above all....you must give it a try. Karl & Donna Stauffer
