Location:
The location is excellent — right in the heart of the Financial District. Super convenient if you're looking to explore lower Manhattan or have business nearby.

Facilities:
Facilities are quite basic. Don’t expect much beyond the essentials — the room only came with shower gel and shampoo. No frills, no extras.

Service:
Service leaves much to be desired. On two occasions, my room wasn’t made until around 6pm — despite me being out from 8am. It was frustrating to come back after a full day and have to wait in the lobby while housekeeping did their rounds. There’s definitely room for improvement when it comes to consistency and timing in room servicing.

Front Desk:
Hit or miss. Service ranged from great to below average depending on who was working. The standout was the gentleman who checked us in during the night — polite, efficient, and welcoming. Others... not quite the same experience.

Overall:
Great location, but very limited amenities and inconsistent service. Would only recommend if you're prioritizing location over comfort and service.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, right at the corner of Trinity Church. It's incredibly well-connected, with 5-6 subway lines (including yellow, green, and red) right on its doorstep. There's an on-site restaurant on the ground floor offering breakfast. Additionally, for quick bites, you'll find two bakeries on the hotel's back street and a tiny Chinese eatery nearby. With McDonald's and Starbucks also close by, dining options are plentiful.

However, a minor inconvenience is the lack of hot water and utensils if you wish to prepare instant noodles. I strongly advise bringing your own cutlery. The front desk is quite small, with just two workstations, and service is notably minimal. During my three-day stay, there was no housekeeping to clean the room or empty the trash. I called twice to request service, but the staff's English was very poor. Despite lengthy attempts to communicate, they simply didn't understand – quite surprising for a hotel in the US, haha. Toothbrushes are not provided, so make sure to pack your own. The room quality is comparable to what you'd expect from a mid-tier Chinese chain like Jinjiang Inn or Orange Hotel, which really made me miss the Indigo on the Bund in Shanghai.

Managed to check in way before 3pm. Counter staff were friendly. There's many nearby eateries around the hotel and metro is about 10mins walk but is fast as u will enjoy the short walk with many stores and nice Chinese restaurants around it. There's a nearby Panda hot pot which is a must try! 

Room is decent and will be a plus if they provide bathroom slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste.

This is the second time our family stayed in this hotel, probably the best choice in Lower East. The hotel manager Milta is really kind and helpful. The cleaning lady Nancy is also very kind and treated our family with extra care. The club and the roof top lounge is also a nice place to hang out and do some work in the morning, and have a drink and spend an evening with friends at night. I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting New York.

The hotel is just a 2-3 minute walk after getting off the subway. Overall, the interior and atmosphere of the hotel itself is pretty, but it was a bit disappointing that it took a while for the hot water to come out and there were no basic amenities such as disposable slippers and water.
Still, the hotel overall was pretty and clean, so it was much better than the old place in Manhattan.

The room facilities and design were great. However, what was truly baffling was that despite being a Ctrip order, and knowing full well that Ctrip customers pay through Ctrip, the hotel front desk still made me pay again. I ended up paying twice for a two-night stay. I initially thought it was a deposit, but there was no refund even after checking out. I contacted Ctrip, and they confirmed it was a hotel error. This is a huge rip-off – are they trying to take advantage of Chinese tourists? Doesn't the hotel know the payment status of Ctrip orders? What if I hadn't checked my bill? Would they have just overcharged me? Everyone needs to be careful! Chinese tourists are often easily scammed when traveling.

The hotel is in a very good location, at the entrance of Paddington station. I have personally tested that you can get on the train within 8 minutes. The surrounding environment is also relatively quiet. But the hotel space is relatively small and it is difficult to open a 28-inch suitcase.

The hotel's location is perfect,, providing easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and the underground. We were pleased to receive a room with a fantastic view overlooking the square where the street performances were. However, we were disappointed with the cleanliness standards. The wooden floor was quite sticky, and we could hear the sound of our sandals when walking. There was visible dirt on the drawer too which made us hesitant to unpack our belongings. Overall, while the location and view were excellent, the cleanliness could use significant improvement.

Let me say that the front desk of the hotel is really super Nice, everyone is very warm and friendly, feel full of love. The room was large and clean, the court-style bed, big love. Every day, mineral water is free to drink, and small snacks are also free to eat. This is charged in other hotels... The location is great, go to the Tower Bridge for3/5 minutes, double subway, walk from Liverpool Street Station for8/9 minutes... Liverpool Street Station is convenient to major airports... In short, very very Great experience, a must-choice hotel next time you come to London

I booked a standard room, but was assigned a basement level. I later noticed a lot of reviews said basement levels. I don't know if this is discrimination or what. It's uncomfortable down there. Although there's a window, fresh air is trapped in the atrium, which is disgusting. There's also a bunch of trash in the atrium, which is disgusting. The basement hallway also has a smell that seems stuck and stuffy. I didn't go upstairs, so I don't know if there's any smell there. Every morning, I'm greeted by the stench, which ruins my fun. Oh, I did see a foreign guest staying in the basement level, but the price isn't cheap either. For 2,000+ a night, I'm not happy with the basement level!

Breakfast is cooked to order and is okay, but the sausages are terrible. There's no fresh vegetables in the buffet!

The wait staff are friendly and willing to chat. Overall, the service is quite good.

The location is good, close to the subway station, and convenient for Wimbledon.

The toiletries are comfortable and smell good, Indigo's global standard.

The luckiest part of this trip was meeting such an amazing front desk manager! Not only is she incredibly beautiful, with a wonderfully infectious smile, but her professionalism is also beyond words. My friend and I were traveling together, and she thoughtfully arranged a room with a great location and view based on our needs, paying attention to every detail.

Before we even left, she went out of her way to prepare our invoice in advance, saving us the hassle of extra communication later – it was incredibly convenient. When we accidentally left personal belongings behind on our way back, she proactively contacted the housekeeping staff to ensure they were safely kept for us to retrieve, so we didn't have to worry about a thing.

Her communication throughout was efficient and heartwarming. Whether it was arranging our check-in, handling the invoice, or retrieving lost items, everything was managed quickly and effectively, adding so much to our trip! This hidden gem of a manager, with both beauty and competence, was truly a pleasant surprise. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time, and I highly recommend it to everyone~

This stay was a wonderful surprise! The hotel's design is very stylish, and the lobby's scent is elegant. Lucky at the front desk provided efficient and warm service, and Coco proactively upgraded our room type. The room was spacious and bright, with very comfortable bedding. The MiniBar had a rich selection of drinks, with the first round complimentary, showing quality in every detail. The location is excellent, within walking distance to the subway and shopping areas. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, and the freshly brewed coffee was aromatic. It really brought a perfect end to our trip. Whether for business or leisure, this is an excellent choice, and I will definitely stay here again!

I have never written a review before but we had such an amazing stay at Hotel indigo i had to review it. The hotel itself was absolutely stunning, everything was so clean and luxurious. The location is perfect, right infront of dishui lake, you are able to watch the fireworks from the hotel balcony. The breakfast was delicious and had a diverse selection to choose from. Our first room was beautiful and had stunning views of the city but we we kindly upgraded to a lake veiw room which was even more beautiful. We were also offered complimentary breakfast. The staff at the hotel were helpful and super friendly even helping up to rent bikes throughout the day and night. I would like to specifically thank Claire one of the on duty managers who was so kind and very helpful with renting bikes, Angus who also rented us bikes and was so helpful with anything we needed and was always available for us to contact, his english was very good, this made communication very easy. And Carter who really went out of his way to help and make us feel welcomed.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the area.
