I booked this hotel because my company is nearby and it's not far from the hospital, as I was bringing my parents for a medical appointment.

The hotel entrance is a bit small and easy to miss. It's about a 10-minute walk from Xujiahui subway station, Exit 1. It's right next to Nanyang 1931, making dining and shopping convenient. The lobby is quite spacious and usually not crowded. The family room felt a bit cramped for three adults, but that's understandable for a prime location in the city center where space is at a premium.

Breakfast was originally for two, but the hotel kindly provided an extra portion for free. There weren't many people eating breakfast, so there was no queue, and the variety was decent. Their heated towel rail (shown in the fourth picture) was quite useful for drying clothes and towels. The staff were very friendly, and housekeeping and restocking were prompt. It's a good option for a two or three-night stay for business trips or family vacations, and you can also explore the Xujiahui area.

This was my second stay in the same room type, a year apart. This time, I really liked that the toilet and shower were separate. The bathtub in the shower room was huge, but the water pressure from the showerhead was very low, I'm not sure if it was a water pressure issue. The welcome fruit this time was better than last, with added nuts, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was as plentiful as ever, though this time there were fewer congees and stir-fried dishes, so perhaps they could add more variety. The separate fridge for the yogurt section is better than other Xiyue hotels I've stayed at, and I appreciate that the cold and hot drinks are separated. It would be helpful if the trash cans in the rooms had trash bags, it would make housekeeping's job a bit easier.

The hotel was quite clean, and the washbasin and shower area were spacious, making it convenient for washing up and skincare, with plenty of room for toiletries. As it's a mid-to-high-end brand under the Huazhu Group, honestly, there isn't much difference compared to an H Hotel (no criticism intended, just an observation). The decor shows some new Chinese/Zen-inspired details, but I think the most unique feature is the hotel lobby's design. The service was also quite similar. Since I woke up late every day, I didn't get to try the hotel's breakfast or use the gym, so I can't comment on those.

The hotel entrance is grand, definitely one of the more upscale places around here. At night, I needed a data cable and chopsticks, and the young lady (staff member) was so kind to run back and forth for me multiple times. In the morning, I was stunned by the beautiful view outside the window while having breakfast, and the breakfast itself was also very good. The overall price of the hotel isn't expensive, offering excellent value for money. Special thanks to Ms. Zhu for her thoughtful service. This trip was totally worth it!

My stay here was absolutely fantastic. The room was spotless and well-maintained. The housekeeper, Cora, was incredibly attentive and responsive to all my needs, which made me feel very secure and comfortable. I particularly loved the Chinese-inspired design and the amenities from Hermès’ ‘Shang Xia’ brand, which made the room feel extra luxurious. The hotel's late-night supper service, available from 9 PM to 11 PM, was a thoughtful touch, offering a wide variety of choices. The location is also a huge plus – right in the city center, just a 5-minute walk to Taikoo Li, making it super convenient for shopping and exploring. Plus, there are countless dining options nearby. Overall, the service and environment exceeded my expectations, offering great value for money. Highly recommend!

My three-night stay was an incredibly satisfying experience.

The front desk service was professional and efficient: check-in was quick, the staff were friendly and smiling, and they proactively upgraded me to a quiet room on a higher floor, while also providing a detailed overview of the hotel facilities.

The room itself was comfortable and spotless: it was spacious and bright, the mattress was perfectly firm yet soft, the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the water pressure was excellent. The mini-bar was restocked daily, and the soundproofing was outstanding, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep.

Breakfast exceeded all expectations: the variety was astounding, ranging from Chinese dim sum and a live noodle station to Western pastries and baked goods. I especially recommend the local specialty, freshly pan-fried potstickers; I was awakened by their delicious aroma every morning.

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, and it offers exceptional value for money. My only suggestion would be to perhaps add more fresh fruit options. Overall, it far surpassed my expectations and will be my top choice for future stays.

My stay at this hotel was excellent. The environment was clean and tidy, and the hygiene standards were very reassuring. The staff were attentive and professional, making me feel right at home. The hotel's location is superb, with convenient transportation, making it very easy to get around. The facilities are comprehensive and well-maintained, suitable for both leisure and business. Furthermore, the hotel did a great job with privacy protection, ensuring a very secure and comfortable stay. Overall, I was extremely satisfied and would recommend it to friends and family.
