The hotel seems to have been recently renovated. Spacious, clean, with attention to details. Great breakfast. The service is equally excellent and attentive. Have absolutely enjoyed our 5 nights stay and will definitely book again next time we are in Shanghai.

This hotel is located in the heart of Lujiazui. The overall design style embraces Chinese aesthetics, creating a truly unique and elegant Chinese living atmosphere. The moment you step in, you're captivated by the New Chinese design. The lobby, infused with the scent of wood, blends the Zen tranquility of Suzhou gardens. The space, a collaboration between Zhu & Zhou Design and 'Shang Xia,' perfectly embodies the 'heavenly circle, earthly square' Eastern philosophy, instantly whisking you away from the city's hustle and bustle.

The room is spacious and tidy, with surprising details: a high-quality Dyson hairdryer and Nespresso capsule coffee machine, elegant 'Shang Xia' toiletries, and the added comfort of a smart toilet and floor-to-ceiling windows. The extra-long vanity desk meets all your display needs, and the complimentary first round of the MiniBar is a thoughtful touch.

The service is impeccable. The front desk staff are efficient, patient, and attentive. The welcome tea upon check-in and the Dragon Pearl Pu'er tea souvenir upon departure were incredibly heartwarming. The package also included an afternoon tea, perfect for a relaxing drink with friends or family. I will definitely be returning often.

The hotel was quite clean, and the washbasin and shower area were spacious, making it convenient for washing up and skincare, with plenty of room for toiletries. As it's a mid-to-high-end brand under the Huazhu Group, honestly, there isn't much difference compared to an H Hotel (no criticism intended, just an observation). The decor shows some new Chinese/Zen-inspired details, but I think the most unique feature is the hotel lobby's design. The service was also quite similar. Since I woke up late every day, I didn't get to try the hotel's breakfast or use the gym, so I can't comment on those.

The hotel is conveniently located right by Zhouqiao Old Street, very easy to find. Across the road are Huilongtan Park and Jiading Confucius Temple, and it's just a few minutes' walk to Jiading Museum and Qiuxia Garden. We had breakfast and then spent the morning exploring the free attractions nearby – the location is truly excellent.

Upon check-in, we received a complimentary room upgrade. The room was new and spacious, and the bathroom was particularly roomy. It would have been perfect if there was a bathtub by the window! When we checked out, we were even given coffee as a farewell gift. A big thank you to the handsome Xiao Shao!

The hotel has a courtyard and a long corridor, which I believe are preserved from the original old building. There's also a citron tree in the courtyard with many fruits. In the morning, I saw a pile of what looked like fallen fruits in the restaurant.

I was strolling around Taikoo Li until past 9 PM, my legs were practically giving out. I planned on just collapsing into bed when I got back to the hotel, but then I noticed they had late-night supper on the second floor! The restaurant had warm lighting and was quiet with only a few people. The buffet spread included white fungus soup, red bean soup, a few small pastries, as well as congee and pickled vegetables. I grabbed a few things and sat by the window, enjoying the dazzling night view of Taikoo Li. It was incredibly relaxing to eat and take in the scenery. The hotel's overall ambiance is also very comfortable, with a new Chinese design that's quite pleasing to the eye. The smart control panel in the room was easy to use, and the bedding was soft. The gym, while not huge, was perfectly adequate. And the service? Impeccable! Both the front desk staff and the cleaning ladies were very welcoming. Just for this amazing late-night snack experience, I'll definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Chengdu.

My three-night stay was an incredibly satisfying experience.

The front desk service was professional and efficient: check-in was quick, the staff were friendly and smiling, and they proactively upgraded me to a quiet room on a higher floor, while also providing a detailed overview of the hotel facilities.

The room itself was comfortable and spotless: it was spacious and bright, the mattress was perfectly firm yet soft, the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the water pressure was excellent. The mini-bar was restocked daily, and the soundproofing was outstanding, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep.

Breakfast exceeded all expectations: the variety was astounding, ranging from Chinese dim sum and a live noodle station to Western pastries and baked goods. I especially recommend the local specialty, freshly pan-fried potstickers; I was awakened by their delicious aroma every morning.

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, and it offers exceptional value for money. My only suggestion would be to perhaps add more fresh fruit options. Overall, it far surpassed my expectations and will be my top choice for future stays.

My stay at this hotel was excellent. The environment was clean and tidy, and the hygiene standards were very reassuring. The staff were attentive and professional, making me feel right at home. The hotel's location is superb, with convenient transportation, making it very easy to get around. The facilities are comprehensive and well-maintained, suitable for both leisure and business. Furthermore, the hotel did a great job with privacy protection, ensuring a very secure and comfortable stay. Overall, I was extremely satisfied and would recommend it to friends and family.
