The hotel is very well located and plush. The service at the hotel and quality of the breakfast is impeccable.

I stayed in Dubai for 12days, I have stayed in several hotels including Sofitel, LEGOLAND, Atlantics, Ritz Carlton and this hotel, this hotel is the worse one. We ordered through trip.com for a burj khalifa view , when we arrived, the reception lady persuaded us to add 3000AED to a bigger room, we rejected because we have paid all room fee in trip.com, the she gave me a room with a renovations smell, the smell made me headache and this kind of renovation smell is harmful, so I complained, I don’t understood whether if I don’t pay extra money to upgrade, they gave me this kind of smelly room. Finally, they changed our room but the view of burj khalifa is missing, I don’t argue with them, it’s so tired but I don’t think it’s a 5 star hotel.  Very bad experience!

We stayed for one night as a group of four and enjoyed close rooms on request the staff was helpful and when we told them we were celebrating my sisters graduation they didn’t hesitate to bring us a complimentary cake. The rooms are clean and the location is perfect it took us 6 minutes from our room to the mall.

Loved every bit, breakfast was awesome. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Anastasia was our host for the first day and her smile made us start our everyday there very beautifully. She was exceptionally lovely. 

For the past few months, every weekend, I've enjoyed finding a quiet place to unwind from the week's fatigue. Booking an executive room at a five-star hotel and savoring the exclusive afternoon tea and happy hour has become my unique weekend ritual. After experiencing several different five-star hotels, I still unequivocally chose Kempinski again.

Although its executive rooms are more compact and refined compared to executive rooms in other hotels, the beautiful view of the Liangma River outside the room always captivates me.

The lounge's afternoon tea and dinner genuinely surpass many five-star hotels; the rich and delicious food always satisfies my taste buds.

On the first day of the New Year, I met service staff member Feng Xiangchao again, and he was as enthusiastic and attentive as ever. Knowing I can't eat very cold food, he warmed up all the seafood for me, which was incredibly thoughtful. The next day, we met another service staff member, He Xu, who recommended the best-tasting desserts and, seeing a child nearby, kindly reminded the child and parents to be careful. The attentive service from every staff member here truly makes us feel warm and comfortable.

At dinner, I chanced upon a couple with their child. Like us, they also spend every weekend at a five-star hotel. They, too, chose Kempinski again after trying several other five-star hotels because they shared our experience of warmth, excellent service, and delicious food here.

This is more than just a hotel; it's a sanctuary for many loyal customers, a haven where they find solace in their busy lives. For future weekends, we will undoubtedly continue to choose Kempinski to enjoy this wonderful time that belongs solely to me. We've already booked our stay here for this coming Chinese New Year, and we're looking forward to it…

This was a trip to the outskirts, and my grandson spotted this huge shell-like building, which turned out to be a hotel. He immediately wanted to stay there for a night.

So, between late 2025 and New Year's Day 2026, we fulfilled his wish. Booking early definitely saved us a significant amount compared to last-minute rates, so it felt like we snagged a great deal.

The hotel's shell-like architecture is somewhat similar to the Moon and Sun hotels in Huzhou, though it's a bit smaller in scale. It's also been open for 10 years, but overall, it's still well-maintained. The lobby is spacious and bright, and the lake-view rooms are quite beautiful.

The service was excellent. They heard it was my birthday 🎂 and even sent a delicious red velvet cake 🎂. The hotel breakfast was also varied and plentiful. For children under 12, breakfast can be purchased at a group-buy price of 78 yuan.

The hotel boasts a wonderful environment. To enter the hotel's designated area, you need to provide reservation information (either a confirmed hotel booking or a dining reservation). Once checked in, you can inform the front desk beforehand if you plan to exit and re-enter. Otherwise, you'll need to present your reservation details every time you pass through the main gate of this resort zone (situated between the hotel and the city roads).

We visited on a weekday, so it wasn't too busy. The staff at check-in kindly upgraded our room to a family room in the main building. The upgraded room matched the photos from our original booking perfectly.

The swimming pool is a 25-meter pool with depths ranging from 1.2 to 1.6 meters. Being a weekday, there weren't many children around. During our visits, it was typically occupied by only four or five adults, mostly serious lap swimmers.

The breakfast selection wasn't overly extensive. There might be more variety on weekends when it's busier, but all the basic options were available and sufficient. Booking a room package with breakfast included is definitely more cost-effective, as paying for breakfast separately proved quite expensive.

Great experience. Service was perfect. Yanqi Lake Boutique Hotels, managed by Kempinski are impeccable. My family stayed two nights. I've booked two rooms. One single bed and one twin beds room. Rooms were modern, clean and spacious. Clean sheets and comfortable beds. I was surprised how big and clean rooms where. Toilets were clean and specious. What you see on the pictures is what you get. More than I’ve expected. Food was perfect.  We had buffet breakfast and we could choose between western food and Chinese food. For diner we eat at the restaurant and the food we ordered was delicious. Lots of things to do around. You can visit Hongluo Temple, Mutianyu Great Wall or you can walk around hotel area and see the Yanqi Pagoda or visit International Conference Center (APEC and Belt and Road Initiative conferences were held there, and it was nice experience to visit the place where most powerful leaders in the world seated and planed the future of the world). All in all, great experience. Special thanks to Shirley Le, duty manager and to June Jian for the warm reception and their hospitality. If you want to relax and clear your mind and body I recommend Yanqi Lake Boutique Hotels, managed by Kempinski.

Outstanding!! For months I had been eagerly awaiting our arrival at the Sundhorn Kempinski, I had built it up in my mind as something incredible to look forward to, and it ￼totally blew away our expectations!

The Sindhorn is an architectural masterpiece unsurpassed. A modern paradise that oozes with elegance.￼ The gardens enhance the atmosphere to bring a sense of tranquility and peace in the bustling city of Bangkok.￼

I’ve travelled extensively in Europe, namely Italy, but I’ve never experienced such superior service from all the staff as I had on our stay at the Sindhorn. The effort they go to make you feel special and valued was quite humbling! I almost felt unworthy, the respect shown was unsurpassed, but I can tell you, it was mutual, we were sure to extend our gratitude at every opportunity.

We even received an unexpected upgrade to an Executive room 80sqm which was fantastic! 

Firefly Bar was such a treat, superb fit out and interior matched well with the live jazz music and expertly made cocktails.￼

Breakfast was elite, so much to choose from and the quality was perfect. 

The pool was a great place to relax and watch the city. I went 3 times in our 24 stay. 

One of the quieter moments I’ll remember the most was having afternoon tea in the magnificent lobby, just relaxing and people watching.

Also handy for us was the small mall complex attached to the grounds at the end of the garden, about 25 well polished restaurants and cafes.

Overall this the best luxury hotel experience we’ve ever had. We cannot wait to return. I even made my parents change their booking at the Waldorf Astoria a couple blocks away and booked directly for them through Sindhorn reservations. ￼

My parents are Hilton Diamond members and Sindhorn were able to match their benefits. This shows me this hotel is ready to acknowledge the competition and win over new guests, I congratulate them for this. 

If you’re thinking of staying at the Sindhorn, don’t think any further, just act and enjoy the show!

Extremely disappointed with Trip.com
I requested a connecting room as I’m travelling with 2 kids and my husband had to leave us for business travel after part of our stay.
Trip.com didn’t inform the hotel about the request, nor telling me connecting room was not available.
The rooms were booked 2 months prior to my travel and had I known about this, I could have taken actions to rebook somewhere else. 
It took me numerous chats and phone calls with trip.com and the hotel which they both push responsibilities to the other party.

Otherwise; the hotel itself is decent and location is perfect connecting to Siam paragon.
