What I loved most about this stay was Kayla, the lady in red. She proactively called me before I even arrived to ask about my needs. During my stay, she not only prepared a handwritten welcome card but also thoughtfully noticed my preferences and helped me get a quiet room on a higher floor. Whenever I had a question or an issue, she was always quick to respond and resolve it, which made me feel incredibly valued. Because of her, this experience was exceptionally warm and personal. I look forward to seeing her again!

Pros:
1. The room is spacious, with two beds comfortably accommodating 4 people, plus a bunk bed.
2. The view is fantastic, offering an unobstructed panorama of the entire dam and Yanqi Lake.
3. There are plenty of toys for kids, which my children absolutely loved. They are also of good quality and include a star projector, a slide, and a small tent.
4. The location is excellent, making it convenient to explore the dam, and bicycle rentals are available.
5. The electronic amenities seem good, like the Bose speaker system, although I didn't get a chance to use it.

Cons:
1. The details are far from what you'd expect from a five-star hotel. For instance, there's no non-slip mat in the shower area, nor any plastic non-slip slippers, making it very easy to slip. The toilet is old and crooked, which is frankly speechless. The shower also flooded into the main bathroom area. For a room meant for five people, there was only one tiny trash can that filled up quickly.
2. There's no room service. I could understand if it was busy, but when I went to the restaurant, it was mostly empty with only one or two tables occupied.
3. The complimentary water and drinks provided were also quite subpar.

The hotel environment is fantastic, and the garden landscaping is particularly outstanding, perfect for a weekend getaway. The dining is excellent, especially the buffet with its wide variety and good taste. The service is warm and attentive. The pool is also great; my child had a blast. The night view is even more beautiful, with a musical fountain around 8 PM. It would be perfect if they could add a shuttle service from the hotel to entrances 2 and 3 of the Xishan Plank Road later on, so we wouldn't have to drive ourselves.

I had a wonderfully relaxing and enjoyable weekend here. The Ambassador Hotel truly upholds international top-tier service standards, from its hardware facilities to its soft services, everything was incredibly comfortable, attentive, and thoughtful. Every detail of the hotel was spot on.

It was a fantastic experience. While waiting to leave, I took the time to ask for the names of a few staff members who left a lasting impression on me, and I wanted to express my gratitude for their considerate and thoughtful service: Zhao Yufei, the short-haired girl at the front desk; Zhao Mengran, the shy, round-faced young man; Tian You from the concierge team who provided professional explanations; and 'Stone' the photographer, who was great at posing, took amazing pictures, and was very gentle. The restaurant staff, and even the doorman by the lake who proactively opened doors for every guest, were all exceptional.

There were also many other staff members whose names I couldn't remember, but I want to thank everyone. I believe that such consistently excellent service is definitely a result of the hotel's professional training and management. Their unified excellent service philosophy and attitude are truly commendable.

Highly recommended! It's a great place to come during the week to relax and unwind! 🤩🤣 (All the names mentioned above are ones I specifically asked for! 🤣👍)

Our experience at Kempinski The Boulevard with our 4‑ and 3‑year‑olds was mixed. The property itself is elegant and well‑located, but as a family traveling with young children, we found the stay less smooth than expected.

There was a noticeable lack of clear direction, which made navigating the hotel and its facilities challenging. With kids in tow, this added unnecessary stress. Unfortunately, the staff were not as helpful or attentive as we had hoped—they seemed less proactive in guiding us or offering support, which is especially important when traveling with little ones.

But the location is awesome !

The location is absolutely fantastic. You can access Dubai Mall directly from the hotel. It's super close to both the Burj Khalifa and the Underwater Zoo. The breakfast meets the standard of an international five-star hotel. Just a heads up, the taxi stand is a bit different from what you might be used to in some countries. Free parking is a huge plus; you can just park right at the entrance and pick up your car when you leave. It's incredibly convenient for those on a road trip. If I get the chance, I'd definitely stay here again.

We stayed for one night as a group of four and enjoyed close rooms on request the staff was helpful and when we told them we were celebrating my sisters graduation they didn’t hesitate to bring us a complimentary cake. The rooms are clean and the location is perfect it took us 6 minutes from our room to the mall.

Loved every bit, breakfast was awesome. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Anastasia was our host for the first day and her smile made us start our everyday there very beautifully. She was exceptionally lovely.

Our stay at Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok was nothing short of exceptional—especially for families traveling with kids. The highlight was definitely the Kids Club, which was thoughtfully designed, safe, and incredibly fun. There were plenty of engaging activities throughout the day, from arts and crafts to interactive games, keeping the little ones entertained for hours.

What stood out most was how attentive and friendly the staff were—they genuinely cared about the children’s experience, making it easy for parents to relax and enjoy the rest of the hotel’s luxurious amenities. The pools were also very family-friendly, adding even more fun to the stay.

If you're looking for a place where both parents and kids can have an amazing time, this is easily one of the best choices in Bangkok.
