Although the hotel is a bit far from the city center, its accessibility is outstanding. It's conveniently located right at the end of Metro Line 4 (running north-south), just 50 steps from Exit 5, and there's a bakery nearby. I arrived easily from Charles de Gaulle Airport, as it's only a few stops after transferring at Gare du Nord, so I didn't get lost even on my first visit. (The map pin might make it look like it's on a back alley, but it's actually on a main street.) I was even able to walk to Montmartre. I was happy to find a kettle in the room, though there wasn't a refrigerator. However, since it was winter, that wasn't an issue for me. While I did take the metro more often, the cost-effectiveness, excellent location, and friendly staff made my stay very satisfying.

This served our needs well for 3 nights in Paris. Clean and comfortable. About 7-10 min walk to Republique metro stn. All the receptionists were friendly and kind. Small rooms, but such is Paris! Overall a good value. Would recommend. Merci!

The location is excellent, convenient, and safe. It's less crowded during the off-season. The hotel is a bit old, and the facilities are slightly dated. However, the price is reasonable. It's close to the subway station, and there are supermarkets, cinemas, and restaurants nearby, all very convenient.

The receptionist are very kind. The price is suitable. The room is enough for two people.

Friendly staff and comfortable bed. Otherwise, very very basic (no hairdryer, no hand towels, no kettle, only one bedside table). Basic breakfast. We found it to be poor value for money.

Camera un po’ piccola ma molto accogliente e vicinissima al centro di Clermont. Letto e cuscino in Memorex comodissimi, abbiamo dormito davvero divinamente!
Presenza di bollitore con thè e caffé in camera. 
L’unica cosa che aggiungerei è un piccolo frigo in camera che a noi é mancato.
Receptionist un po’ scortese al nostro check out per un’incomprensione legata al pagamento.

We’ve had a very pleasant accommodation in the hotel. The hotel is located 2 minutes walk from the railway station and 10 minutes by foot from the city center. 
Everything was really good - the room was colorful and clean, the bed was quite big (I may assume that width of the bed is 200 cm), the staff was so nice and helpful, and the breakfast was tasty and had a lot of options. Coffee is free of charge during the whole day as well as croissants. 
Definitely recommended to stay in Rennes.
