astonishing hotel! all is working the way it should, like a perfect hotel machine. during our short stay, we visited the business lounge — as it was included in our room rate — the swimming pool and the italian restaurant. all were great.

the only thing i would critiseze the hotel for is the map — they need one, as they are quite big, but the option they offer at the reception can only be viewed through a telescope — don’t know what their marketing guys are yp to with this leaflet :)

Stayed for 3 nights , great welcome with complimentary breakfast as we arrived way early before check in time. Service was great from all the lads , canteen , reception, room service
Couldn’t fault anything
Room was clean, spacious and beautiful. The amenities were great, nice pools, nice private beach

Our family had an unforgettable stay from beginning to end. From the moment we arrived, the check-in, concierge service, and hotel staff were all superb. Truly a 10/10! They were incredibly attentive, responsive, always smiling, and genuinely caring. A special shout-out to Alex, Shivani, Jamshir, Jampesh, and Amine from Latest Recip, who were incredibly kind to our baby Imran.

Let me tell you, Rocky is incredibly reliable. During my stay, no matter what kind of inquiry a guest had, he was always so patient, serious, and attentive in his work. Even with complex issues, he never brushed them off, always taking the time to carefully sort them out and provide a timely and appropriate response.

He was also very genuine with me, making communication incredibly comfortable. He's a highly effective worker; anything I entrusted him with was handled smoothly and successfully. Whether it was addressing various guest needs or coordinating different tasks, you could tell he was very dedicated and responsible. He made everything so easy to deal with, and his capability and attitude are simply top-notch. I truly commend him! 👍

The hotel's location is excellent; you can walk directly to the beach from the ground floor. The room we were assigned faced the sea, offering unbeatable ocean views. The seafood and BBQ restaurants nearby are also great, and getting around is convenient. Highly recommended.

I've had the Le Méridien Sheshan on my radar for a while, and this National Day holiday I finally got to experience this classic, top-notch family-friendly hotel. Even though the hotel is quite old, its location is exceptional, nestled at the foot of Sheshan mountain. Every room has a balcony with great views and fresh air; sitting out there is simply refreshing. The room interiors are also very well maintained. Outside the room, there's everything you could need, no need to go to any paid parks. You can just relax at the hotel; the kids will never get bored, and adults can enjoy a truly relaxing vacation. During the National Day holiday, there were quite a few weddings being held, and parking was free. Plus, it's very convenient for driving to all the major attractions in Songjiang. A special shout-out to Bob for the excellent service – proactive, smooth communication, and thoughtful. The kids have already said they want to bring their grandparents back for another stay next time.

The room was quite spacious, but there's room for improvement in the details, such as the absence of tissues in the room.

Service: I unexpectedly got my period and asked guest services to send a sanitary pad to my room, but they couldn't provide one. It's not that it's a must-have, but personally, I feel this isn't too difficult to arrange and would make guests feel secure and cared for. I hope they can improve on this in the future.

Facilities: The elevator wasn't very smooth. Firstly, swiping the card and pressing the floor didn't always work, and secondly, sometimes after pressing a floor, it wouldn't stop there. Several guests encountered similar issues.

Cleanliness: Good

Environment: Nice

Overall, the experience was pretty good.
