Excellent location! It's just a few minutes' walk from Shimbashi Station, and very close to Ginza for shopping. There's a Don Quijote and a supermarket right at the intersection, a FamilyMart across the street, and a Matsumoto Kiyoshi nearby. The hotel itself is very new, with a restaurant on the 1st floor and the lobby on the 2nd. Toiletries and slippers are self-service in the lobby, where you'll also find complimentary tea and coffee. They even offer free pancakes before 9 AM! Each guest receives a drink coupon valid for a beer or juice. For its Ginza location, this hotel offers great value for money!

I was very happy with the hotel itself. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the bed was huge. There was also a microwave and a lounge on the second floor of the hotel. The only downside is that the hotel's location isn't very convenient; you need to take a bus to get anywhere (though it's only about a ten-minute walk to Senso-ji Temple, which is perfect for an evening stroll, and there's also a large Don Quijote nearby).

The bathroom was spacious, but the room itself was a bit small. Luckily, there was space under the bed for luggage. The price was reasonable. It's about a 7-10 minute walk to the subway, but be aware there's a steep hill. There's a convenience store nearby. The area is packed with great restaurants, mostly on the upscale side, so reservations are probably a good idea.

The facilities are a bit old, but it's not a major issue. The cleanliness and attention to detail are commendable, and the service attitude is also very good. Overall, I'm quite satisfied. There's a coffee machine and a waffle maker in the lobby on the first floor.

The room, though small, was well-designed, clean, and the bedding was very comfortable. On the first floor, there's a coffee machine, water dispenser, and a laundry room. Toiletries and skincare products were also available for guests to freely take from a display in front of the elevator.

For breakfast, you get two freshly baked pieces of bread and a small bowl of soup. While simple, at just 500 yen, I personally found it to be excellent value for money, and the freshly baked bread was delicious.

The hotel is just a ten-minute walk from Shimbashi Station. The surrounding area offers a wide variety of restaurants, big and small. Ginza is also less than a 30-minute walk away. The transportation is very convenient.

The location is fantastic! It's right next to the Marunouchi Line, just two stops from Tokyo Station. Walk about ten minutes forward and you'll hit the Ginza Line, which takes you directly to Senso-ji Temple and Shibuya. There are tons of places to eat nearby, and Akihabara Electric Town is only about a seven-minute walk away. As for the hotel itself, it's essentially a motel. While the room isn't huge, it's clean, tidy, and has all the basic amenities you could ask for. My favorite part is definitely the bathroom – even though it's not super spacious, it surprisingly has a big bathtub! The front desk staff are incredibly welcoming, and the housekeeping team changes towels and empties the trash daily. Communication in English was no problem at all, and there's even free coffee next to the counter. The only downside is that rooms near 234 are close to the main road and can be quite noisy, especially late at night with constant motorbikes. The soundproofing isn't great either; you can hear people walking and talking outside very clearly. But overall, the value for money is still good.

For Chinese tourists, my review should be helpful. First, in terms of location, I think the hotel's biggest selling point is its excellent position. It's a two-minute walk from Akasaka-Mitsuke Station, Exit 10. Nearby, there's a FamilyMart, 7-Eleven, and various restaurants, yet it's not noisy. Akasaka-Mitsuke Station itself serves about three subway lines, which is incredibly convenient. 

Regarding service, everyone at the front desk spoke English well enough, though a few spoke a bit too quickly, making it hard to catch everything without asking for clarification. However, they handled basic tasks without issue. The housekeeping staff's English wasn't as good; they also didn't ask questions and simply nodded to everything I said, but understood almost nothing. There were also issues with their work. I had an opened mask pack with only one sheet used, which disappeared after housekeeping cleaned the room in the morning. When I inquired at the front desk, they found it the next day, along with an AirTag I had thrown away. They explained that the mask pack was mistakenly discarded as trash, but I distinctly remember placing it in the hotel's basket (which contained the hotel's bathrobe, slippers, hairdryer, and what seemed to be body lotion). I'm not sure what the housekeeper was thinking, but what I do appreciate is their ability to trace discarded items and retrieve them. The cleanliness itself was fine. Japan promotes environmental protection, so hotels don't encourage daily linen changes, which is perfectly acceptable.

As for facilities and amenities, I only had one bag and a carry-on, so the room size was just right for me. However, for those with large luggage, it would be extremely cramped; once a suitcase is open, it pretty much fills the floor, making it inconvenient to move around. The bathroom was a bit small, but that's normal for Japan. Toiletries like toothbrushes and toothpaste are in the bathroom, while other items need to be picked up from the front desk. My main gripe is with the drinking water. I understand why there are no bottled water in the room due to environmental concerns, so you have to go to the water dispenser on the first floor. Disposable cups are available next to the dispenser. I wonder if, like many other environmentally-conscious developed regions, they could provide a large, hotel-use-only water pitcher? That would be much more convenient. Having to go downstairs every day to fill up and then bring a cup back is a bit of a hassle, but it's not a major problem.

In summary, if I return to Tokyo without any specific reason, I would most likely stay here again. However, for those with a lot of luggage or primarily exploring the northeast side of Tokyo, careful consideration is advised.

I stayed at the b Suidobashi and had a solid overall experience. The location is very convenient, with Tokyo Dome within walking distance, making it ideal for concerts or events without worrying about transportation. The room was simple but clean and functional. The highlight is the public bath, which is comfortable and perfect for relaxing after a long day.

Great location as it’s about 5min walk from Ikebukuro Station. There was a 7-11 opposite and Ichiran Ramen at the back of the hotel. The maid chamber would change all the towels and trash bin in the room everyday. There’s also a laundry room at level 7 which housed 2 washing machines and 2 dryers. There’s a restaurant at level 2 where buffet breakfast was served every morning from 7am to 10am. Overall it was a great stay!

The hotel offers both non-smoking and smoking rooms. If you don't have a strong preference, you might want to check availability for both. My friends and I had a bit of a mix-up with our dates this time, and we unexpectedly found a smoking room available for one night. We were originally planning to book a non-smoking room for six days, but because of this, we ended up splitting our booking. It turned out to be much cheaper than booking the full six days straight, as there was no non-smoking room available for one of the days, but no smoking room for the others. Plus, the hotel staff kindly arranged for us to stay in the same room for all six days without having to switch! 🥰🥰🥰 So grateful!

This is a great hotel! The best I had in Japan yet! Rooms are spacious, facilities are great and extremely clean! Beds felt cozy and had the best sleep! Great onsen experience and free beverages at the lounge!

Location walking distance to Hakata Station. Staff are extremely friendly and check in and check out process is by self and very smooth. Great overall experience and would stay here again when im in Fukuoka. Arigato!

The hotel service is excellent, the hygiene is impeccable, and it's quite quiet. They put a lot of thought into decorating the elevator area for visitors. The ice cream puffs are delicious. The restaurant that partners with the hotel for breakfast also serves good dinners. If you're booking this hotel, it's worth checking the price a day or two before your trip for any changes.

This hotel is a top choice for those who prioritize location and value for money!

The location is superb. Traveling with seniors, we could reach Tanukikoji, Moyuk, Daiso, the Pole Town underground shopping street, and Don Quijote within 5 minutes. Parco and Mitsukoshi were within 10 minutes. There are countless restaurants and drugstores nearby. Right across from the hotel is a chain tonkatsu restaurant, packed with locals. There's a slight wait during peak hours, but it offers great value, and on weekdays, they even have special lunch sets. Pork lovers should definitely try their most expensive set (though portions are huge, and everyone has to order one – consider ordering the cheapest one to round out the number of orders if you're not that hungry).

Regarding the rooms, we adjusted to a cheaper, randomly assigned room before arrival, requesting adjacent rooms on a high floor and quiet, and all our requests were met. We ended up with three twin rooms on the highest floor. The beds weren't small, and the room size was definitely enough for one person. I had a 28-inch and a 24-inch suitcase plus a duffel bag, and I could open everything. For two people with a lot of luggage, it might be a bit tight.

Overall, the hotel facilities are relatively new, small but have everything you need.

Breakfast, if included, is very basic. For three days, aside from one type of bread (croissant and whole wheat toast rotated), everything else was the same. The taste was decent, but the selection was very limited. We mostly just had a quick bite before heading out each day. I'd recommend skipping breakfast unless you have seniors or children who absolutely need to eat right after waking up. The picture shows all the available options. There's also what they call 'free light meals' from 3 PM to 10 PM. The pictures made it look abundant, but we didn't see any desserts for three days, only ice cream. Coffee and hot tea are available all day. There's an ice machine on the first floor. I basically used it to sit down and rest while waiting for the seniors to finish their meal after my morning stroll. The fruit tea is delicious. Rooms don't provide water, so you'd often see people refilling their bottles here, which is fine.

Service-wise, it varied:

The long-haired female staff member at check-in was rather cold and had mediocre English skills. The group before us was Korean guests, and she treated both groups with a flat, expressionless demeanor. However, she processed everything quite quickly. There was also a Japanese middle-aged man with a protruding belly. Initially, he stood behind the two front desk staff, watching them work. I thought he was a manager overseeing operations, but his attitude was also very impatient. When I tried to pay the accommodation tax, I wanted to swipe my card. The machine and the female staff member weren't familiar with it, and it didn't work at first (it turned out the magnetic strip was inserted the wrong way). He kept saying ”no no no,” snatched my card, and tried to insert it. But my card didn't have a chip, so inserting it wouldn't work, which I had explained beforehand. In the end, it still had to be swiped. I've never encountered such rude front desk staff. The female staff next to him also looked a bit startled.

However, several subsequent staff members, both male and female, regardless of their English proficiency, had very good attitudes. Especially one young man – we were waiting to use the laundry, and one machine finished but the clothes hadn't been picked up. I went to the front desk to explain, and the young man immediately responded with a smile. A tip for everyone: if you're like us and want to wash all your accumulated outerwear at the end of your stay, try to avoid peak hours after dinner. There are only two washing machines and two dryers, and when it gets crowded, some people don't come to pick up their clothes on time, which can be frustrating.

There's also an airport limousine bus stop nearby (we didn't use it but saw it, not far away). This chain hotel is ubiquitous, and its locations are generally good. Overall, it offers good value for money!👍

The hotel is absolutely fantastic, I honestly can't find any faults with it, apart from the price. As soon as you walk into the lobby, there's a lovely fragrance, which I really enjoyed. The lobby also has a bar where you can get free drinks, perfect for a girls' night out! Plus, there's a huge mirror, which is ideal for getting ready with your friends! (My only minor complaint is that housekeeping didn't come every day.)
