Amazing stay! Super near to the train station, and extremely clean. They have a washing machine, microwave, induction cooker, and pots and cutlery provided in the room. The mini fridge is the height of my waist! I also love the vacuum sealing machine in the lobby. Service was amazing: they did an extensive check for me when I asked if I could watch TVer on their tv. I was sad to leav

The hotel is less than a 20-minute walk from Shinjuku Station, or a 900-yen taxi ride. If you don't have luggage, you can enjoy the walk and grab a bite along the way. The overall design is well-thought-out, with attention to detail – for example, a section of the bathroom mirror is heated to prevent fogging. The room was quiet and comfortable, and there are convenience stores and fast food restaurants downstairs, which is very handy. Room cleaning is available daily upon request, showing a commitment to environmental protection. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

The hotel is in Higashi-Shinjuku, about a 3-minute walk from the subway station. It's diagonally opposite the old Tsukiji fish market. The hotel has its own parking lot, and there's a convenience store downstairs. Everything is super convenient.

I was on a business trip, and my company is in Toranomon, so I booked this hotel because it's within walking distance. It's conveniently located, just a short walk from the subway station. There are plenty of food and drink options nearby. The front desk had a Chinese-speaking staff member who was very warm and considerate, which added a lot of comfort to my tight schedule. Although the room wasn't huge, I was pleasantly surprised to find a microwave and a washing machine. I paid extra for breakfast but didn't get to eat it due to my packed schedule. I feel like I'd want to book this place again even if I'm traveling for leisure next time!

This has always been my go-to hotel for business trips. It's located in Aoyama, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling city.

The hotel has a Seijo Ishii supermarket right downstairs, which is perfect for grabbing delicious snacks and homemade pastries. There's also a Matsumoto Kiyoshi pharmacy.

Excellent stay in a quiet area of Shinjuku. Clean and comfortable room with the added convenience of an in-room washer-dryer and microwave. Close to Nishi-Shinjuku Station, convenience stores, and dining options. Friendly staff and great value for a Tokyo stay. Would happily stay here again. 😊🏨✨

The triple room was great, very clean, and having a washing machine was super convenient for daily laundry. The location is peaceful yet central, with easy access to transportation, and there's a convenience store right downstairs.

This hotel was a last-minute find after a train cancellation, and it's a real gem! It's small but stylish, and for travelers to Japan who don't spend a lot of time in their hotel, it offers great value for money. The Ginza Station entrance is right downstairs, making it super convenient to get anywhere.

+ Great location — very near metro and train stations
+ Clean, modern and large hotel room with large beds
+ Friendly and helpful staff at reception
+ Plenty of room amenities available
+ In-room washing machine makes it extremely convenient to do laundry
+ Free hot drinks machine downstairs during the day

- Limited housekeeping — not as good for extended stays
- Limited breakfast and cafe food selection

Definitely worth another visit in the future.

This Tokyu Stay Nihonbashi is clean, comfortable and most importantly, the location is strategic and is at JR line, that you can conveniently ride the train from Narita airport and to every where else stations.
The room is spacious with a single queen bed, equipped with small kitchen equipment and the in room washer/dryer- the thing i am most excited about that i do not need to share with the whole hotel guests.
The bathroom is spacious too, compared with other hotels in Japan that i have stayed in before.
One thing to look at is the drainage of the bath tub. This might have been clogged before, therefore the water flowing into the sinkhole when showering is very slow. It makes me stand inside the bath tub with my shower water.
Otherwise, the stay is still perfect.
Thank you for your hard work and i will be back again in near future.

I didn't expect to find such a great value hotel during my summer trip. The last time I was in Kyoto was in 2023, and for some reason, hotel prices across the city were generally skyrocketing then. This year, the value for money was truly exceptional, and I was very satisfied with everything, especially meeting Mr. Yang, a Chinese staff member, right after checking in! He was incredibly kind and meticulously explained the hotel's facilities to my friend and me. He even had our luggage placed in our room before we returned. Throughout our stay, he was always responsive to our requests, making for a very smooth interaction and leaving us with an excellent impression. With such a great location and service, there's absolutely nothing to complain about.

The washing machine in the room was also a high-end model that I'd be hesitant to buy for my own home; it was almost silent in operation. The only downside was that it took a bit long, sometimes up to five hours for a full cycle, though perhaps I wasn't using it correctly. Nevertheless, the clothes came out very soft and clean.

My only regret is that there's a Beams store right across from the nearest subway station to the hotel, and I only discovered it as I was about to leave! It's a shame I didn't get to browse there. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip to Kyoto, and I'll make sure to visit that Beams store. I hope to see Mr. Yang again if I get the chance. Many thanks!

The location is excellent. Coming out of Hankyu Kyoto-Kawaramachi Station, Exit 9, turn right, and you're directly on a shopping street. Walk about 50 meters, and you'll see the KOE Donuts shop, with the hotel's ground floor elevator entrance right next door. The lobby for check-in is on the second floor. Takashimaya is just across the street, making shopping very convenient. Gion is within walking distance, but we opted for the bus for convenience, which was also very easy.

The hairdryer, shampoo, and body wash were all ReFa, which felt so good that we ended up washing our hair daily, always smelling nice.

The lobby staff had excellent English, including some Westerners, making communication very smooth. They also gave helpful reminders about the washing machine and cleaning procedures.

My only complaint, which I can't overlook, is the air conditioning. It had a strong, damp, musty smell that I couldn't stand. It's not a central AC system; I even took a picture of it. The musty smell was present as soon as we entered the room. Even opening the window and letting air in didn't help, and we were on the 8th floor. The room also had something like a humidifier or air purifier, but turning it on didn't solve the problem either. I wonder if this is a widespread issue, as I'd seen previous reviews mentioning it, and it seems I 'won the lottery' by experiencing it myself. If you can't tolerate this, please pay attention to this potential problem.

The location is super convenient, in an area of Kyoto with plenty of shopping but not too noisy, which is very comfortable. There are also enough restaurants. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and the washing machine was very useful. The staff were polite, making for an excellent stay.

As always, my top priority when staying at a hotel is getting a good night's sleep. Since I'm very sensitive to noise, I specifically chose this hotel for its quiet location, tucked away from the hustle and bustle. And it truly lives up to that 'quiet yet convenient' reputation.

The hotel is very close to the subway station, making travel incredibly easy, yet it's set back from the main road. My room faced a residential area at the back, which was exceptionally quiet. For those who prioritize window views and want to wake up to a beautiful scenery every day, this might be a bit disappointing. However, if your main goal is a good night's sleep, then this is definitely a highly recommendable option.

The curtains are double-layered, but given the early sunrise in Kyoto during summer, the room still gets quite bright in the morning. If you're sensitive to light, I'd suggest bringing your own eye mask.

I stayed in the most basic room type, which was about 20 square meters. To be honest, the two beds took up most of the space, with just the aisle remaining. However, this is quite common for city hotels in Japan, so it was entirely within my expectations. The two single beds were pushed together. If you wanted them separated, one bed would have to be pushed against the wall. For couples, having them together is perfectly fine.

What surprised me was how spacious the bathroom, laundry area, and toilet were. While not necessarily essential for me, I believe this would be a huge plus for many long-term travelers or families.

I found the overall soundproofing of the hotel to be quite good. I had requested a top-floor room in advance, and the hotel did its best to accommodate my request. Check-in was very smooth, and the staff were friendly and provided satisfactory service.

Originally, I considered booking a family room, but then I worried that family rooms might be more likely to be surrounded by families with young children, leading to a higher probability of noise. So, I ultimately chose the smallest room type. This way, at least the chances of having a large family next door would be lower. However, if you're not as sensitive to noise as I am, I would actually recommend the family room.

That's because the family room isn't much more expensive, but the size is almost double. In a city like Kyoto, where space is at a premium, this combination of space and price offers exceptional value for money, and I would highly recommend it.

Regarding breakfast, I didn't opt for the breakfast package when booking, but I did pay extra to try it once. To be honest, if you compare it to the luxurious breakfasts at many four or five-star hotels in China, it's not in the same league. Here, it's a semi-buffet style where you choose a main dish and then complement it with items from the self-service area.

However, considering that for most people traveling to Kyoto, breakfast isn't usually the most important experience of the day, if you're not specifically looking for an incredibly lavish or high-end breakfast, the quality here is perfectly adequate. The environment is clean, the ingredients are fresh, and the overall experience is quite good.

Overall, this is a hotel I would happily stay at again. It offers convenient transportation, a quiet environment, and attentive service, making it especially suitable for travelers like me who prioritize sleep quality above all else.

It's about an 8-10 minute walk from Hakata Station. The hotel environment is nice, and the bar on the first floor offers drinks and coffee from 2 PM to 10 PM. On the way from the station to the hotel, there's a 7-Eleven, Matsumoto Kiyoshi, and Yodobashi Camera (which has a supermarket and Daiso inside). Since it's close to the train tracks, there's a bit of noise, but it didn't affect my sleep.

The room was very clean, and I had no trouble opening my 30-inch suitcase. There's also a desk, and a place to hang clothes after washing them. It's super convenient for shopping and getting around, and there's even a popular donut shop right outside the door.
