so far i stayed here, the service was good, the room not too clean and the room quite small. they didn’t provide iron & iron board, but you need to go downstairs at level 4 to iron your clothes. they also have a self service laundry at the level 4. the hotel is near to the mrt station (lavender station) and the attraction places. and also, it is easy to get halal food. for those who have a budget for your trip, i’ll recommend to stay at this hotel 👍🏻

The biggest plus of this hotel is its location and surrounding amenities. It's right next to a subway and bus station, with a food court and fast food restaurants nearby, making it super convenient to get to attractions. While the lack of hot water in the morning was a minor drawback, the overall experience was still great.

The Hotel Mi Rochor is conveniently located near Rochor MRT and Bugis MRT stations, making it very easy to travel around the city. Although the rooms are relatively small, they are well-organized in a smart and efficient way, so the space does not feel too cramped or uncomfortable. The hotel also provides a currency exchange machine in the lobby, which supports a wide range of international currencies and is very convenient for travelers. The Hotel Mi Rochor is conveniently located near Rochor MRT and Bugis MRT stations, making it very easy to travel around the city. Although the rooms are relatively small, they are well-organized in a smart and efficient way, so the space does not feel too cramped or uncomfortable. 💰Singapore, much like Japan and Hong Kong, is a place where you pay five-star prices for chain budget hotels that are barely big enough to turn around in. However, I have to say, the cleanliness in Japan and Singapore is far superior to Hong Kong. 

😘Let's start with the positives:

1.  **Convenient Transportation**: You can spot the hotel's logo right after exiting the Bencoolen MRT station, and it's only about 100 meters away. The night I arrived, it was pouring rain – the kind where an umbrella barely helps – so I was grateful for the short walk to the hotel, which kept me from getting completely soaked.

2.  **Abundant Dining and Entertainment**: The location is bustling with many options for food, drinks, and entertainment. Nearby attractions include the National Museum of Singapore, Fort Canning Park, and numerous small eateries. If you're willing to walk a bit, many city attractions like the Merlion are within walking distance.

3.  **Chinese Service**: The front desk offers Chinese service, so those who aren't confident in their English can rest easy. The staff are also very enthusiastic and professional.

4.  **Well-equipped Facilities**: It's a case of 'small but perfectly formed'. Although the rooms are tiny, the hotel boasts facilities like a swimming pool, gym, and laundry room, which are available for use if needed. There's also potable water in the room, which can save you a good amount on buying bottled water.

5.  **Clean and Hygienic**: Overall cleanliness is much better than comparable hotels in Hong Kong. I didn't find any noticeably dirty spots, and the daily cleaning was very thorough, almost on par with Japan.

😂Now for the drawbacks:

1.  **Poor Design**: The small size is a fundamental issue, unavoidable really. But the design of many room features is quite unreasonable, which is frustrating. For example, the wardrobe is located above the desk, and there's only a bedside table on one side of the bed...

2.  **Poor Soundproofing**: I could clearly hear people talking every time someone walked past my room.

3.  **Inconsistent Shower Water Temperature**: The hot water for the shower was either scalding hot or icy cold, with distinct shifts and no smooth transition in between.

🙂↔️Both the pros and cons are quite evident. As long as you don't set your expectations too high, it's perfectly fine for a short tourist stay of a few days.

The location of Value Hotel Balestier is quite nice and convenient, with easy access to nearby food places and transportation. However, the main downside of my stay was the restroom. It was noticeably smelly and had a strong unpleasant odor, similar to sewage or poop, which made using the bathroom uncomfortable. While the location is a plus, the cleanliness and smell of the restroom really need improvement.

Pretty good hotel. The price isn't expensive, so it offers good value for money. The front desk staff were very helpful and willing to assist you. I like this hotel, it's really good 👍

Stayed for two nights in Singapore. The bed sheets and duvet covers were quite clean; I didn't even need to use my disposable bedding. Overall, it was great, and the front desk service was excellent. Good value for money. I think I'll stay here again next time I visit, as it's very close to the MRT station, which is super convenient. A big thank you to all the staff at the hotel. Everything was perfect, except for the room being a bit small, making it difficult to open my suitcase.

Stayed at this budget hotel for a short trip and it was worth the price. The room was clean, air-conditioning worked well, and check-in was smooth. Basic facilities are provided, suitable for travelers who just need a comfortable place to rest. Location is convenient with shops and food nearby. Overall, a good budget-friendly option.

There’s often no hot water, and the bathroom gets wet, but it’s understandable for its affordable price. On the other hand, the receptionists are friendly and helped us change our rooms many times. A good choice overall!

The hotel's location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the subway station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. Whether you're heading to tourist attractions or shopping, it's completely hassle-free. As for the room and facilities: although the room isn't huge, it's well-designed and space-efficient, with every inch utilized perfectly. The internal facilities are comprehensive and well-maintained, the bed is soft and comfortable, and the bathroom is clean and tidy with a stable hot water supply – everything you need for a trip. The hygiene is impeccable; both the room and public areas are spotless, which really puts your mind at ease. The hotel's overall environment is quiet, ensuring a good night's sleep even in a busy area. The front desk staff are friendly, and both check-in and check-out were efficient and quick. They were always ready to answer any questions, making for a very thoughtful experience.

Ample parking The room is very clean. Equipment and appliances are complete in the room. Impressed, whoever comes, will definitely not be disappointed 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

The overall environment is good, the price is very high
