GGuest UserWe hiked the Great Wall of China from Gubeikou to Jinshanling and chose this hotel to rest after the day. The accommodation is ideally located, right next to the entrance gate to the Wall. The host was very welcoming, and the room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. All the beautiful photos you see of his establishment were taken by the host himself! Since we were there during the off-season and most shops were closed, the host offered to cook dinner and breakfast for us. He is a delicious cook. He also offers taxi services and was able to take us to Gubeikou train station the next morning for our return trip to Beijing. We are extremely grateful for this wonderful stay in Jinshanling and would gladly return!

GGuest UserLove their home cooked dishes! We rather go back to hotel for meal after Gubei water town. The couple bosses were so sweet to let us indicate spiciness and accommodate our minor diet restriction. They dun have noodles but they used alternative ingredients to make some gourd dish that tasted close to noodles. The rooms were big, in SG standard, one bed was queen size and the other was super single. Their bathroom was newly renovated and love their heater installed at shower cubicle, making it more comfortable to shower in cold weather. The couple bosses provided great tips on local transport to help us get to/fro Jinshanling for sunset and sunrise opportunities. They are situated around 5min drive from Jinshanling ticketing. Love the room doorstep views overlooking the geese and house dog. We will choose this hotel next time!

MMeiyouruguo1992This was my second stay at the hotel. Wulingshan Aranya has added a lighthouse park and a mountain-view restaurant, making it great for families with kids. Right behind the hotel, there's another restaurant and a grassy play area. For breakfast, you can choose from different options. We stayed two nights, so we tried Xiaoye's Japanese breakfast once and Shiwei Shangu's Chinese breakfast once, both of which were quite good. The complimentary public hot spring was also a nice touch, and it wasn't crowded, so the experience was pleasant. My only minor complaints are that the hotel's shuttle service is infrequent, leading to long waits during peak hours, and the staff's attitude wasn't as warm as during my previous visit. Also, we had to specifically ask for the raindrop cake and matcha experience, which wasn't offered as enthusiastically as before.

The atmosphere was very warm and homely, which made us feel relaxed and comfortable throughout our stay. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming. They were always willing to help with any requests and made us feel well taken care of. Our room was the smallest one available, but it was cozy, clean, and comfortable. The property itself is quite spacious, with two lovely courtyards where guests can relax. Barbecue facilities are provided, and there are plenty of tables and chairs, making it a great place to spend time with family or friends. The swimming pool was a bit too cold for our liking, but that was not a big issue 😊 Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this place to others. 🇷🇺Мы отдыхали здесь три дня и остались очень довольны. Нам особенно понравилась теплая, домашняя атмосфера, благодаря которой отдых получился уютным и комфортным. Хозяева очень доброжелательные и гостеприимные. Они всегда готовы помочь и откликаются на любые просьбы. Наш номер был самым маленьким, но при этом очень уютным, чистым и комфортным. Территория большая и ухоженная, есть два дворика для отдыха. Гостям предоставляют всё необходимое для барбекю, а также много столиков и стульев, где можно приятно провести время с семьей или друзьями. Бассейн для нас оказался немного холодноватым, но это совсем не испортило впечатление от отдыха 😊 В целом мы прекрасно провели время и с удовольствием рекомендуем это место другим гостям. 🇨🇳我们在这里住了三天，整体体验非常好。这里有一种温馨的家庭氛围，让人感觉很放松。老板和老板娘都非常热情、友好，如果有任何需要，他们都会尽力帮助。虽然我们住的是最小的房间，但房间很干净，也很舒适温馨。民宿的面积很大，有两个休闲小院子供客人使用，还提供烧烤设备，院子里有很多桌椅，非常适合和朋友家人一起聊天、休息。泳池对我们来说稍微有一点冷，不过这不是什么大问题。总的来说，这是一次非常愉快的入住体验，推荐给大家！

IIkkyuSojunThe hotel's location is pretty good, and the surroundings are very quiet. It's only about a 19-minute drive to Jinshanling Great Wall. However, the Jinshanling exit on the G45 Beijing-Chengde Expressway is closed, so you have to take a detour. When there are fewer guests, breakfast is served individually with generous portions. When it's busy, they open a buffet with a wider variety of options. The room was spacious, great for families. But there were a lot of ladybugs (or 'stink bugs' as some call them) that somehow got into the room; we had to clear them out as soon as we checked in. The bathroom drain was clogged, so the facilities definitely need some maintenance. It's probably okay for a 1-2 night stay.

GGuest UserWe stayed one night at Jinshanling Hanting B&B, and the location couldn’t be better—just a short walk from the Great Wall. It’s the perfect spot to catch both sunrise and sunset; the wall opened at 5 a.m. when we visited in early November. Breakfast was included, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We’d definitely recommend staying overnight for the better light and calmer atmosphere instead of doing a day trip. There’s also a great café nearby. To find the place: walk to the entrance gate, turn right, and it’s on the right side after about 30–50 meters.

GGuest UserLocation is unbeatable!! The hotel is right before the entrance gate to the Jinshanling Great Wall cable car station and trail heads. You can actually hike up to good view points on the Great Wall injust 30-40 minutes. The hotel is in good condition. The room is mostly clean and well maintained. The AC works well. Toilet has a weird smell but didn't bother me that much. Wish they provided conditioner (only shampoo and shower gel were in the bathroom). Restaurant has many options for Chinese dishes and so is the buffet breakfast. If I come back, definitely book it again for the excellent location.
