I usually don't write reviews, but the service at this hotel was truly frustrating.
First, the environment and location are great, and the hotel facilities are new, clean, and tidy.
However, when checking in, there were about 30 people in line in the lobby, and only three or four staff members at the front desk. The efficiency was incredibly low. One family of three seemed to be dealing with something for about twenty minutes. Then, they have a few self-service machines. A staff member led me to one of them, and even though there was a Chinese language option, they selected Japanese. I thought they were helping me, but after I entered my name, they just left ! Luckily, I know a bit of Japanese, otherwise, I would have been completely lost.
What made me most speechless was after checking out. I stored my luggage and went out to eat. When I returned to pick up my luggage, my friend went to the restroom, and I sat in the lobby for a bit. Immediately, a female staff member came over and asked me what I was doing there. She asked if I was picking up luggage. I said yes, but my friend was in the restroom, so I needed to wait a bit. She then asked, ”How long?!” What's the deal? Can't I even sit in your high-and-mighty lobby after checking out? It was truly speechless.

The hotel's location is excellent, with a direct elevator from the MM line subway right to the hotel entrance, making it very convenient for getting around. The rooms are quite spacious and come with a microwave, a mini-fridge, and a countertop. The breakfast is quite generous, mainly Japanese and Western style. The front desk provides common amenities like toothbrushes, toothpaste, and combs, but there are no small-sized skincare products or facial cleansers, which some other hotels do offer.

If you can find the East Exit 1, checking into the hotel is super convenient. Unfortunately, my sense of direction isn't great, and I ended up exiting from the regular East Exit. Remember to look for the North East Exit 1 to leave the station. I accidentally booked the wrong room type, but they were able to change it for a small extra charge. The location is excellent for shopping and dining, and public transport is easily accessible. Despite being right next to the station, it's surprisingly quiet, and there's a convenience store connected to the hotel. It's really great value for money.

Guest UserThe first thing that caught my eye when I entered the room was the massive floor-to-ceiling window! The 'City View Room' lives up to its name – you get a panoramic view of Yokohama's iconic harbor, the Ferris wheel, the Red Brick Warehouse area, and the distant skyline. During the day, sunlight floods the entire room, making it bright and airy. At night, with the city lights twinkling outside, Yokohama's night view is romantic and dreamlike. You can enjoy it all from bed; I didn't even want to close the curtains! Watching the sunset slowly sink into the harbor, especially around dusk, was truly a healing experience.
The only downside was a slight musty smell in the room, which improved after running the air purifier for a while.

Guest UserFacilities: The room isn't huge, but two suitcases can be opened simultaneously side-by-side. The bed was very comfortable, and the pillows were thoughtfully provided with one soft and one slightly firmer. They also provided small sachets of facial cleanser.
Hygiene: Very clean. You can request daily cleaning and tidying, or just towel replacement and trash disposal. The towels were all very soft.
Environment: If you're visiting this hotel in hot weather, I don't recommend walking from Yokohama Station. Instead, take the Minatomirai Line to Shin-Takashima Station; the hotel is a 5 to 10-minute walk from there.
Service: For guests who have already paid for their stay, a great perk is that you don't need to go up to the 9th floor to return your key card; you can simply drop it into the key card return box on the first floor!

Anonymous UserIf you’re looking for a hotel near K-Arena, this one is absolutely worth considering.
The location is excellent, situated in a business district with plenty of restaurants available during the daytime. There’s a 7-Eleven on the first floor, which is very convenient, although it closes at 11:00 PM. After around 9:00 PM, it can be a bit difficult to find late-night food nearby. However, the vending machines offer options like takoyaki and pork teriyaki rice, which are helpful for a quick late-night meal.
The room is spacious enough for two people and offers a great view. The bathroom is large and separated from the toilet, which makes it more comfortable to use.
Amenities are available at the lobby for guests to pick up, and they provide everything you might need—cleansing oil, face wash, cotton buds, conditioner, shaving cream, shaving kits, and more. Pajamas are also provided in the room, and they are very comfortable.
One of the highlights is the onsen located on the lobby floor, open until 1:00 AM. It’s perfect for relaxing after a long day of meetings or events.
There is also a laundry area with washing and drying machines at a very affordable price. However, the dryer may not fully dry clothes even after 90 minutes, so keep that in mind.
The lobby area is suitable for working late into the night. Wi-Fi is strong, and complimentary coffee and hot tea are available 24/7.
The TV is excellent—Sharp 4K with good sound quality—perfect for watching your own Netflix content.
Overall, a great stay, especially for business travelers or anyone attending events at K-Arena.

BunjinIt was a comfortable bed that came with a TV and headphones, everyday fresh loungewear and towels would be provided and there was a large communal area with sinks and vanities. However, you will be asked to leave the hostel or wait in the reception lounge between 11am and 4pm. The receptionist I spoke to had a high level of english.

The location is really convenient, perfect for a layover hotel if you're transferring from Haneda Airport to Osaka or Kyoto. It's only a 400m walk from the Shinkansen station, and there's even a 7-Eleven inside the hotel. However, the downside is that there's a lot of street noise from cars revving their engines at night, and the soundproofing is extremely poor.

Anonymous UserThe location is super convenient. From Exit 3 of Motomachi-Chukagai Station (Tokyu Toyoko Line), turn left and walk straight. When you spot a 7-Eleven, turn left again. Continue to the very end of the street, and you'll see the hotel sign in the upper right corner. Head inside, and that's the hotel entrance.
