Rooms are small, no view, no adequate breakfast, no pool, etc. It’s a good choice for a couple of nights if you’re travelling along with a minimum of luggage and want to save money."

GGuest UserThe most important thing about this place is its owner. Alex is a wonderful and friendly local islander. He truly puts his heart into what he does and does everything possible to make your stay as comfortable as it can be. Have a problem? Just talk to Alex and he’ll do his best to help. Need advice? Ask Alex! I think the main idea is clear
As for the place itself, it’s calm and quiet, yet close to the central part of the island where all the main shops are located. The beach is a 3-minute walk away, another one is about 5 minutes away — everything is nearby. The hotel has its own bar and a private area, peaceful and relaxing. The main issue is mosquitoes, but that’s not really the hotel’s fault — after all, there’s nature right behind the fence, and a very unusual one at that. We even saw a giant stick insect on the property for the first time ever, lol 🙂
The bungalow has all the basic essentials: a bed, air conditioning, a toilet, a shower, and a kettle. It might be nice to have a wardrobe or some storage for clothes, but that’s just a small nitpick.
If you’re not picky and don’t need five-star service, but appreciate a warm and genuine welcome, I can highly recommend this place!

GGuest UserThe stars of this hotel are the staff particularly the manager, Act, who could not be more helpful. She made everything about my stay easy and stress free.
The hotel itself is just across the quiet island road from the beach. Here there is white sand and crystal clear water. To the left is the busier section with all the normal beach activities together with bars and restaurants. It is just a 15 min walk into town this way. To the right the beach is quieter.
If you continue along the beach to the right you can follow the coast path which ‘hops’ from bay to bay making for a pleasant walk.
The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable. You are supplied with everything you need including snacks, beach bag, wet bag, beach towel and beach mat.
I had a wonderful stay at Green Bay and thoroughly recommend it.

CCooldayThe Samed Resorts group offers the guests a free boat shuttle service to Samed Island (even free car parking), which I find very convenient. The staff helped us loading the baggage to the boat and from the boat to the hotel. Ban Ploy sea is located right next to the pier with a few minutes walk. The check-in went smoothly. The staff was so helpful and friendly. He even offered me an upgrade room with the sea front view for 2 nights. The room was clean and comfy. At the back of the resort is a log house cafe, offering tasty cakes and fancy drinks. I feel really relaxed lying on a private beach. In the evening we were so lazy to go out, just had dinner at the hotel‘s restaurant every night. It was not cheap but everything was delicious. Overall, we are very satisfied. Highly recommended!

TThitiratBeautiful view, peaceful location, good service staff, polite and friendly. The swimming pool is secretly too salty. Beyond the general salt water pool I went down to play for just a moment and my skin hurt a lot. Breakfast options are a little less.

AAnonymous UserBeautiful view in beach front (semi detached) cabins. We included breakfast during our stay which was fine (but take care some food had bugs). The rooms were fairly basic, not the most comfortable of beds and did not get cleaned during our 3 night stay. Water was provided and towels replaced once, left outside for us to collect. The restaurant was fairly reasonable, music at night. Unfortunately the rooms were very noisy, you could hear the neighbours during the night and lizards on the roof. The location is a lovely beach, not too far to walk on the beaches to tubtim, but a bit too far to walk to the main town.

Regardless of the chosen accommodation option, you will have the opportunity to enjoy nature and relaxation in exceptionally comfortable conditions, and the hotel staff will sincerely do everything possible for this, starting from meeting you in your own station area before transferring to the island. The organization of the hotel is at its best. Cleanliness, comfort, quality of bedding, friendliness and responsiveness of the staff, security, attitude towards guests, breakfasts, a restaurant for lunch and dinner overlooking the beach, a bar with drinks, two different beaches, a large territory - everything is equipped and done so that guests do not want to leave the hotel throughout their stay. In my opinion, the hotels of the Samedresorts chain and in this case Sai Kaew Beach Resort are one of the best pages of our frequent vacation in Thailand. This time, our large group of friends with children and parents (23 people), vacationing in Pattaya, rented 8 or 9 separate deluxe cottages in this hotel for three nights. Despite the different ages of the vacationers (the youngest tourist was 2 years old), everyone had the kindest and most positive memories and impressions of the trip. Once again, many thanks to the management and the entire large team of the hotel for the warmth and truly heartfelt welcome. It was a complete Sabai. Special thanks to Mr. Lek, now our friend Lek, for his daily attention, kindness, care and those feelings that brought tears to our eyes upon departure. We hope that our separation will be short-lived, we are looking forward to our next vacation. On behalf of our entire friendly company, Aleksei B.

GGuest UserThe location is really far off. In the last corner of the island. If you don’t have a motorcycle you don’t get around well.
There is a shuttle bus which costs around 120 to get to the main area one way for two, but it isn’t that reliable. It is supposed to leave once per hour at 30min after the full hour but sometimes it leaves 5min early and you are stranded for the hour, sometimes you wait until 45min after the hour.
The friendlieness of the staff was from super genuinely friendly and helpful to „ I don’t give the slightest **** for you“ really depends on the person. Breakfast was good, especially the thai soups.
Eating dinner there is very expensive and not that good. The restaurant location outside is spectacular. With view over the sea in many directions.
The huts where you stay are simply too small. I. Essence only a bed that you can walk around. No desk or something. No shelves or something where you could store or hang clothes. You have to live out of the luggage your suitcase. The issue is : there is only space to have one opened at the time, no space for two. That makes it rather inconvenient. The water in the romm is in glass bottles , but it is actually tab water smells like chlorine. I gor stomach pain drinking only one. We were told if we need drinking water , we must use the overpriced water from the minibar.
The beach wasn’t that great. You don’t walk on sand and there was lots of rubble in the water, not pleasant to swim. I would not go there again

NNarichThe room was spotless and beautifully decorated. The location was convenient, and the breakfast was outstanding. Upon check-in, we encountered an issue with the door lock, but the hotel promptly arranged a room change. The front desk staff handled the situation with great efficiency and professionalism. Overall, it was a wonderful stay.
