725 Continental Hotel is in a central position, short walk one way to Plaza de la Republica, with Obelisco, and a short walk the other way to Plaza de Mayo.A stop for the open top bus tours is on the other side of the street. Hailing a taxi is easy on the roadside but reception ordered a taxi without charge. The hotel has no car park, but there is paid-parking nearby. This art deco building is in a street of such buildings making for a scenic cityscape, both from the street and roof top terrace, where there is a bar and small pool. Sunset drinks were enjoyed on the roof. Room and ensuite was large and everywhere was clean. Reception directed us to 2 double rooms before finding the twin we had booked, which was an unwanted inconvenience after a long journey. There was a paid mini bar but no kettle in the room. View was across to the buildings the other side of the street. Air conditioning worked well. The lifts are slow and the wait was tiresome, but fortunately we could use the stairs from our room on a lower floor. Breakfast is served on the first floor, and there is a bar and restaurant on the ground floor, which we did not use. There are tango shows and many restaurants within a short walk of the hotel. Breakfast buffet was adequate with omelettes cooked to order. Window tables have picturesque street views. Facilities give the five star rating, but 725 Continental Hotel is more comfortable than luxurious. Location and service on offer made it good value.

Hotel with excellent cost benefit. Very good location! For reviews on hosting sites, we ask not to stay at the 1st floor and that's the best tip I can give. Our 2nd floor room was quiet! I think the first floor rooms should suffer a lot with the noise, they offer a simple breakfast that breaks a stick, which would be a thousand times.

When we arrived in the room, there were two single beds, we joined together and we could sleep in that way. We picked up the heat record in Argentina in March o/23, thanks to God the air conditioning was working perfectly, the shower is great, breakfast is OK, the wifi is not very good. If you're going to take a trip, stay out the whole day and don't want to stay in the hotel long, just use for rest, I recommend.

The hotel is located in the center of Buenos Aires, very close to 7th September Street and the Obelisk. Clean and tidy, warm service. Had dinner three times at the restaurant on the first floor of the hotel, and it felt good! The football in the hotel lobby is amazing 👍🏻

Gran Hotel Argentino in Buenos Aires is located on Avenidad 9 de Julio. The hotel was easy to find, being situated on the main thoroughfare. The avenue is really wide and tree-lined, making it a perfect one for a long walk. The hotel is within walking distance from some of the main landmarks of BA, namely Plaza de Mayo, Casa Rosada (presidential palace), Teatro Colon and the iconic Obelisco are within walking distance. There are several food joints nearby. All said and done, the hotel is in a good locality. I had chosen a single room and it was really small but clean. I needed to catch a flight at 5 AM and the receptionist arranged for a taxi. For a night, the hotel is really convenient.

First I'd like to say that the young man who assisted me when I arrived late at night at Up Tribeca was entirely professional and courteous with me, even though I checked out almost immediately after checking in. So: I initially booked three nights at Up Tribeca because the reviews for the hotel were all positive; however, the hotel ”ambience” is entirely artificial and - to put bluntly - weird. All the rooms are centered around an open-air courtyard (btw, that courtyard is the only fresh air in the hotel), and because I checked-in late at night, I had a very hard time trying to find my room number while walking the hallway along the courtyard, as it was lit by a few neon lights that (I guess) gave off a cool vibe, but no actual light. Because it was so dark, I mistook the wrong room for mine and kept trying to open the door with my card, until I noticed (again, hard to see with no light!) the ”do not disturb” sign on the door handle (sorry to whomever might have woken up to me trying to open their door.) I then continued down the dark hallway to my correct room, and when I opened the door, I was greeted to a completely windowless box of a room that reeked of synthetic air-freshener, making it smell like I just walked into a Zara Home Furnishing store. The smell was suffocating, and of course there was no way to open a window to get rid of it because no window existed. If you've ever watched the Apple Tv show ”Severance,” then you'll get the kind of atmosphere this room had: it felt completely claustrophobic and dystopic. I didn't spend more than thirty seconds in that room before I grabbed my suitcase and went down to the front desk, requesting a different room that had a window, only to be informed none of the rooms have windows. At that point, I asked him to call me a taxi, and I left for another hotel. To sum up: if you don't care that you're staying in a windowless box that smells like a home furnishing store in the local mall, you'll be fine at Up Tribeca. Otherwise, I would strongly recommend you book elsewhere.

Nice location with very clean rooms, most the places that we wanted to visit. 10-20min walking distance, for longer trips we used Uber . But best part during our visit was the front desk staff, Zaria and Nestor was exceptionally nice and super professional. Zaire made sure that we have best possible experience during our visit in hotel and even giving us tips where to go and what to visit . Overall A++ Thank you .

Great little hotel. Ok the cons. Two blocks too much into an area that might not feel right with travelers that are not use to big cities like NYC. While the room was clean and well appointed the shower could use a little love. And lastly no coffee in the room. The pros. Great staff. Water bottles and drinks in the room. Room is big and comfortable. The price is right and the location close enough to key areas. Breakfast was good just what you need nothing fancy. I would def stay here again. I would recommend to people as well.

Excellent location. Hotel clean, concierge service excellent but for one. Breakfast excellent as is the attached, but separate, restaurant. Ate there every night. Taxis in Buenos Aries cheap, prompt. No tips necessary but very appreciated and deserved especially in the Argentina inflation problems . One of the desk staff NOT the younger ones who had good English and integrity, was running a taxi scam with a driver from Imperial Taxi. We fell for his line and paid 5 times more than our friends to travel to cruise port. This caused our friends who were returning to the City after our cruise to go elsewhere. Tainted the stay. All other people we met in this Hotel and in Argentina were fantastic and helpful.

I was first hosted in a hostel during my first trip alone, so I went back - but I trusted the booking and tripadvisor reviews. I was glad I trusted. I was a very fun and comfortable stay. In the room, each bed has its own bedroom, lighting and chair (other larger box, for larger bags/mocks), air conditioning and bathroom. In the common areas there is a kitchen and a bar and a ”lounge” indoor and other outside - the kitchen is well equipped for daily uses, has a cupboard, ice cream, drinker, cups, cups, etc., which all guests can use. The bar is a great place to stay at night, talking and knowing the staff.Every night has a different scheduled activity for the staff interact, and the good thing is that it remains open until morning (although stop selling drinks and food there for half night). The lounges are good to stay too. The cleaning of the place is show, almost every day via staff cleaning, repairing items, screwing etc. The reception staff, especially Alex, are quite performing and sympathetic - he did even cure in a friend who had been injured. In conclusion, go without fear! I recommend without restrictions
