Contrary to the TripAdvisor entry the hotel is open! Great location opposite the cathedral. Wonderful staff. We arrived at 02.30 due to a delayed ferry but were greeted by a very helpful receptionist. Our room, 304, had a great view of the cathedral. Parking is expensive at 18 Euros a day but very convenient and vital in a congested town. The room at 76 euros including breakfast was good. Breakfast was generous with lots f choice. Only complaint was open window, a covid requirement apparently, in breakfast room made it chilly.

El hotel está bien situado, cerca de la catedral, como a 5 minutos. Dispone de parking (de pago). En recepción todo perfecto, gran atención. Las habitaciones bien, pero necesitarían una pequeña actualización, las cortinas estaban un poco regular, y tiene moqueta en todo el suelo que no es muy higiénica. El baño amplio y bien servido, con bañera en vez de ducha. Lo mejor, sin duda, es la piscina climatizada, estando dentro vimos fuera que estaba nevando y no pasamos nada de frío, ¡¡es muy recomendable!! Tiene también un pequeño gimnasio y saunas. Te cobran un euro por la toalla para la piscina, pero merece la pena. El precio es medio y por los servicios, calidad, atención y situación, sin duda lo recomiendo.

My name is Jordi A. and I have enjoyed this terrific hotel for 4 days. If you have decided to visit Burgos I heartly recommend you this hotel. The staff is very friendly, polite and professional and I don´t forget the waiters and waitresses that say a sweet good morning when you enter to the breakfast room. They behaved very well with me and one them offered me very friendly a cup of chocolate with ” churros ”. The room was perfect, neither big nor small. The bed was big and comfortable and there wasn´t a noise that could disturb my sweet dreams. I don´t know if I will come back to Burgos but if I go I will pretty sure choose NH Collection Palacio de Burgos again. I wanted to write this review in Catalan, my mother tongue language, but I have seen that it is impossible with Trip Advisor so I have decide to write it in English.

A 10 to the attention. I was wrong at the reservation date and they changed it without problem. I am very grateful. The hotel is very well located, although the parking, 20 euros, is a lot expensive. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. The room, by the way, is huge.

We enjoy our stays at this small inexpensive hotel right on the Camino as you enter the old section of Burgos. It’s only a few steps from the entry arch. There are many bars, shops, and restaurants in the near vicinity. The walk to the Cathedral is only a few hundred feet out the front door and to the left. The rooms are functional and have an en suite bathroom. Each room also has a tv for your use if you wish. It’s always fun to try to figure out how to get your native language on programs you might wish to watch. There is a nice breakfast available for anyone who desires it. The owner and his staff have been very helpful to us each of the last four years we have stayed here. I’m sure that we will be here again next year on our sixth Camino.

Good: large parking in the same building at an acceptable value; good breakfast of good quality but little variety. bad: the standard room is narrow with a comfortable double bed for two people. The hotel is very friendly, but I would like to criticize some things (to help improve) . -Having lift NOT makes an establishment accessible. I have reduced mobility but I don't use wheelchair. The hotel is not accessible because there is a staircase to access, No bathroom has a shower and the rooms are generally so loaded with furniture that there is very little space to move, impossible for someone on a wheelchair. -We stayed 3 days and the second appeared to have not registered our stay well and the cards would NOT open the rooms. We resolved it quickly but it was annoying. - When we arrived at breakfast there was nothing left and we had to wait for them to buy more. Nothing serious but avoidable with better planning. The experience was good but the details mark the difference and our feeling is that they had little professional experience in the field. But they need to improve certain general aspects.

The room facilities are basically no problem. A few small defects can be improved better: the large slabs on the floor of the shower room are not very stable, and they are like seesaws. There are no hangers and clothes drying racks. When you go out, you still have to change your clothes every day. The front desk service is warm and thoughtful, especially worthy of recognition. The room was very clean and tidy and comfortable.
