"A great little place with a lovely swimming pool. Enough activities to keep our 8 year old daughter happy. Lovely family time together in a very clean and well equipped lodge."
"Very nice hotel. It is also the training base of the British football team. There is even an indoor court next to the hotel that can change the temperature and humidity at any time. However, I didn’t see any stars during my stay, only the youth training."

"Really nice, spacious, clean rooms and toilets. They had provided fans in every room, incase it gets hot during the Summers. The staffs were really courteous and helpful. I had some issues with the electric kettle and they replaced it as soon as I informed them. The best part of the hotel is the Location. Next door to Lidl, and many other local food joints this hotel is perfect for a short/long term stay at Burton-on-Trent."
"At check-in the reception staff member was more interested in watching football and I was told to wait they watched football!!!!
I did not sleep well as the hotel has a loose rope on the flag pole, told in morning that being loose since lockdown. All night a loud metal tinging sound.
The hotel has an amazing heritage and the room shares this heritage, I wish just the staff would book time off for football and did regular site checks every day. Lastly the reception is not 24/7."
