"I stayed in Box Hill motel between 3rd of Nov'23 - 5th of Nov'23. My husband and I arrived at Box Hill motel around 12-1pm. We were so exhausted as we took turn driving from Sydney - Melbourne. We drove from Sydney past midnight. Upon calling if we would be let in early, surprisingly it is allowed. Otherwise we would have slept in the car until check-in time if the room isn't ready yet. We got room no.1 and it was very clean. I didn't use the towel as I prefer to use my own towel, my husband also use his own towel. One of the hanging towel though had a snot on it and I put that towel aside despite we didn't use it. There were 3x plates in total and one of the plate was dirty and I assumed previous guest must have used this 1 plate and didn't wash it but instead just slipped it in between the clean plate. We used 2x plates for ourselves but I washed the 3x plates myself. Great Wifi speed too as I was able to complete a little bit of work from Room no.1. My parents always taught me to appreciate and respect people's places. Upon checking out, I saw Carol and OMG, she is so kind, friendly, down to earth and helpful. She was busy rolling people's luggage to their room. I remember my father always taught me the great businessman is not the one who always wanted to be served but the one who knew how to serve others first. There's a saying about ”servant leadership”. A great leader know how it feels to be at the bottom to observe, learn and serving others as well as better appreciate the top and experience various roles to understand the duties and responsibilities of each roles. THANK YOU Box hill motel team and Carol too for allowing us to stay at your beautiful clean and tidy place. We were able to sleep very soundly, hope nobody can hear us snoring :) I highly recommend Box Hill motel, Melbourne to anyone on a trip to Melbourne."

After check-in, the hotel arranges mid-term cleaning every week. When Zhang Zhuo cleans mid-term, she always communicates with us in a friendly manner, is polite and thoughtful, and is very considerate. During this period, we spent Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day and Chinese New Year. The room was always clean and tidy, which was refreshing. Living in this hotel apartment really feels the level of a star hotel. From the end of last year to the beginning of this year, we stayed in the hotel for more than four months. Every morning, we saw her busy figure in the corridor. She often did not get off work until late at night, or worked overtime. After some guests checked in, they always bothered her whenever they encountered various troubles, no matter big or small, or replenished pots and pans, or replenished detergents, or forgot to bring the room key 🔑 out of the door, etc. You can often see her smiling and responding, willing to help, and helping guests solve difficulties. Once a water pipe on a certain floor suddenly burst, causing water leakage on the site, resulting in different degrees of impact on multiple apartments. Zhang Zhuo appeared on the scene as soon as possible, patiently explained and carefully comforted the guests, and quickly reported to General Manager Sam, who rushed to the scene in time to deal with it. Zhang Zhuo treated the hotel apartment as her home, and her enthusiastic service spirit was touching. At the same time, the management level and service quality of the hotel apartment were comprehensively added points in the minds of guests, which deserves special praise. "There was a piece of wrapping paper in a small corner, and the rest of the hygiene was OK. What was unpleasant was that someone called the fire department on the first day of stay. It was 12:30 in the middle of the night and it was 1 degree outside. Everyone had to go downstairs, and two fire trucks came. The firefighters looked around and found no problem. Everyone went back to sleep. After about 20 minutes, the fire truck 🚒 drove away and turned back, and everyone went downstairs again. Some people were really impatient. Apart from this, everything else was OK. The transportation to the station is about 8 minutes walk, and there is a restaurant opposite that serves Xiaolongbao and Xiaowonton."

"We are very happy with a free upgrade for 5 nights due to personal circumstances. The place is very clean and spacious. Location is very convenient. The only set back was a breakdown of internet and the handling of the matter was no very satisfactory. We ended up staying in the apartment without internet for 3 days. Overall we had a very wonderful stay and that make our trip worthy."

"I am Chinese. I have stayed at this hotel many times. The first time I feel it is acceptable. Now I feel worse and worse, but the location is better. The service can only be improved. There is no hot water in the bath, and the air conditioner is noisy. There is no spare pillow in the room, the sofa collapses, just the TV can meet the requirements. Such a room should not be offered to customers. I only stayed for one night so I didn't pursue other things. I won't stay at this hotel again."

"Location is a little far from CBD, but quite straightforward and easy to locate. Less than 10mins walk from box hill station. Not sure if the hotel provides toothbrush/toothpaste as it's not in th room. No slippers are provided hence Asians might find it a little uncomfortable as it is for me. There's no cooking oil or any condiments provided as well. Bed and pillow are too soft for my liking. Overall a good stay but will not come back again as it's inconvenient for me."
