We stayed here for one night on route through France. On first glance the hotel is contemporary and thoughtfully decorated. The staff speak good English and were welcoming. We were on the second floor and our room had limited head space due to the eves. The bathroom is open plan with a separate toilet that was so high our toes only just reached the floor! The bed was very comfortable and the aircon welcome on a summers night. However our shower was either scolding hot or freezing cold - no happy medium, making it unusable. We reported it to reception but weren’t offered an alternative room and the promised visit from maintenance didn’t materialise. There was no reduction in our bill to reflect this. Breakfast was €18 per person and a typical (but fairly limited) continental set up. There was a self service egg boiler but no option for omelettes or poached eggs offered. In hindsight a croissant and coffee at a local Boulanger would have been a much better and cheaper option. Caen is a lovely town and we’d like to come back for longer, but we won’t return to this hotel.

If you ventured to Caen, there’s a nice hotel near the Gare (Train Station), that’s perfect for travelers. The hotel is clean, the staff is hospitable and friendly. The hotel is situated on the banks of the Ore River and is located in the Les Rives de l’Orne shopping center which has many shops and restaurants. Breakfast is included! Recommend to anyone visiting Caen/Normandy area!

Hotel well located 30 minutes walk from the city centre, market and restaurants Very quiet if you take a room next door, very clean . The hotel is a very nice breakfast, which is very nice and willing. And most a couple of small care managers for its clients, very pleasant, kind, addictive, good advice .... A stay well under all reports. We will return with great pleasure Ps: thank you for allowing us to deposit our cheese purchases 😁😁😁. We hope the smell has gone away Continue so you are great soon

Good hotel, gentle staff. It is located in a quite central area. My room was a single, quite small but clean, but it was very special to have a bathroom shower in the bedroom, so who used the water had no great privacy. I don't know if it's just a characteristic of individuals, because I was traveling only so I didn't have any needs for privacy Breakfast was good, all in the good average.

The Hotel has three stars outside but I assume this relates to the sister Mercure hotel that is next door but part of the same building. The room we had was meant to be a twin but in all honesty it was more like a single room. Storage is very limited and the bathroom was very tired and dated looking. The Hotel bar shuts early and may not open at all so you may struggle for a nightcap if one takes your fancy. The good points of the hotel are the underground parking that they have (make sure you book it) and the breakfast was great, the lady who looks after the breakfasts is really helpful. Location wise the Hotel is a good central location and most places are a walk. Comparing it to the premier inn we stayed at in the UK en-route, the premier inn was miles better and 40 pounds cheaper per night.

Check-in was very fast, the room was very quiet and hygienic. I will definitely stay again if I have the opportunity in the future. The hotel brother is also very friendly and helps to open the door and remind the breakfast time.
