Service upon arrival was great, and stayed that way from all staff the 4 nights we stayed here. 3 of us stayed in a 2 bedroom self contained apartment. Well appointed, tidy and clean. Large shower and bathroom. only gripe was water pressure and temperature, both fluctuated considerably, but liveable! Scones every morning. Very good value for money, will stay again

For the price this place offers everything you need. The pool and kitchen area are appealing and a feature of the hotel. The secure car parking is great. The room itself has all the basics and a few extras like hair dryer and ironing board. The hot water and shower are excellent. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. Should you like a walk, the hotel is around a 30 to 40 minute walk to the foreshore lagoon area. Set in a generally quiet area with a few nearby shops and food outlets.

I had such a wonderful experience here at the Reef House. from before i even left, the team helped me create a holiday itinerary that was exactly what i was after. The suggestions and recommendations of places/companies/which day to do it - all worked out to the perfect weeks solo holiday. Once I was there it was a slice of paradise. All the staff were so lovely and facilities always clean. I would definitely return to enjoy another holiday.

As an older couple we usually wait a few days to allow the holiday euphoria to subside before writing a review. Our opinion of our 10 day holiday at The Reef House Hotel in Palm Cove has not diminished. The Reef House is the older colonial style of hotel we love. It is very welcoming, comfortable and homely but has modern facilities. The meals are top quality and exceptionally well presented. We could not find fault with any of the wonderful staff or the services which were provided with a smile every time both before and during our stay. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble – like providing some new tackle for the fishing rods that are available free to use or helping to work out the combination lock on the free bikes. The on –site wellness centre is a wonderful addition. The fact that guests must be over 16 years old to stay meant that we could enjoy peace and quiet during meals in the wonderful open dining area or around the two pools and spas. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we are organising our return for next year.

After hearing our angry complaints, the Japanese guy at the front desk helped us adjust the room and transferred to the room that matched the photo of our order. We stayed at the Edge Hill Tavern the night before our flight back home because it is not far from the airport. We arrived 2 hours early and the staff wasn’t bothered at all. As our flight left in the evening we asked for a late check out which was no problem at all! We were so impressed and exited about the staff as they were really friendly. The rooms are just perfect. We would really recommend the hotel!

The room was clean and quiet. It also had a nice view where you could see the sea and the rainforest.Service was good , and it was easy to call a taxi ,you just need to press a taxi bottom in the lobby and taxi would come to the hotel within 5 to 15 minutes .This was really cool!
