"The room is medium-sized and has everything you need. The breakfast is buffet style, not bad, simple and delicious. There are a lot of jams to eat, as well as juice cereals and someone to bake toast for you. The service staff are also very kind ~ Here is a photo of the beautiful Canterbury Scenery~"
"Close to shopping mall, there is a very nice Chinese restaurant opposite. I will choose this one next time. The first floor that likes to drink is the bar."
"All the service staff were very enthusiastic, the check-in time was exceeded when the flight was delayed, but the staff delayed after communication and waited for me to arrive, and the breakfast was great!"

"Great hotel in the grounds of Canterbury cathedral. We stayes in the value rooms with 40 steps to the room but it didn't feel like 40 steps, at all and not tiring. Amazing breakfast selection. Not mass buffet. Good selection to choose from, fruit yoghurt, crossaints etc plus you can choose from fried breafast, egg benedict, salom and scrambled egg, egg florentine etc are all made to order. Plus your drinks. We had a relaxing time in the lounge in the evening and enjoyed a nice hot chocolate. Free admission to the cathedral for 2 of us was a bonus. Would have cost £19.50 each. Lovely and helpful staff on reception. Will definitely stay again."
"The hotel is right next to the church so you can hear the bells in the morning. So the hotel is not what we imagined as modern, it should have a long history, wooden floors, and our room even the floor is tilted. Then the sun is shining, July will not fall until 9:30, the room does not have air conditioning, there is an electric fan, it is really super hot! In addition, this is a pedestrian street, the car can not drive up, so the basin friends with large luggage are not recommended.
But the overall view is very good, the boss and waiter are super nice. Although the cereal for breakfast is convenient in the supermarket, the view for eating is also good.
All pros and cons, see what you choose, scenery, or modernity"
"It may be that the check-in was close to 10 pm that day. Self-check-in, according to a password sent by Ctrip, find the room 🔑, and then the password, it feels a bit of an adventure, if you are alone, it is best to stay at dawn. The garden is quite large and carefully arranged, that is, the table in the room is too small, the computer can not be spread out, and the bathroom is small. Overall clean."
"Wonderful location, just a stones throw from the Centre of Canterbury. Our Host was lovely, very kind and welcoming.
Breakfast was not overwhelming, very basic. It was included in the price so can't really complain.
Lots of niggles with the room though..... maintenance appears to be down on the list of the priorities sadly.
Fridge didn't work.
TV had cracked plastic frame around it. Remote didn't connect to the TV. However you could turn on the TV manually....once you'd sussed out what wasn't working first.
Bedside set of drawers had handles that kept falling off.
No sink plug in the bathroom. You had to be a contortionist to see in the bathroom mirror, it could have been better positioned on the adjacent wall.
It was also a little concerning that all the electric devices had to be plugged into just one trail board.
That being said, inspite of all the niggles, it didn't stop us from having a lovely weekend stay in Canterbury - location made up for it along with Sanjeewa's hospitality."
"Small single room. Clean and tidy. Bathroom and toilet is also very small. A sliding door for the toilet . Very close to city centre, high street and department store . Excellent location. Few minutes walk to bus terminal ."

Great
瑞瑞瑞SweeWe are really pleased with our stay at St. Stephens Guest House! Lovely hosts and accommodating of special requests. Delicious breakfast available, especially enjoyed the homemade yoghurt and granola!
RRachel_rabbitVery central location and walking distance to all major places. It’s also in the heart of the shopping area. Room is clean and good condition. Some lower floor rooms might be slightly noise at night as there is a club next door.
GGuest UserIt is a warmer B&B I have lived in. The hotel is very clean and the interior is newly renovated. The big bathroom is comfortable and the waiter is very good. Disadvantages on the side of the road, not suitable for passengers who are afraid of noisy, and breakfast is particularly simple, a bit convenient to drive between Canterbury and Dover White Cliffs, and there are parking spaces
GGuest UserPros: The room is clean and cleaned up in a timely manner. The breakfast is good, and the steak in the restaurant on the first floor can be slightly expensive.
Cons: No elevator.
However, there are few old hotels in the UK with elevators.
DDebbieThis feels like good quality accommodation, despite being an Attic room the ceiling is quite high . However the room layout is naturally restricted so one twin bed is snuggled against the wall with restricted headroom. The payoff is a good sized ensuite with natural light .
The upside in the summer is the aircon, the downside in the winter is the radiator adjacent to the twin bed. This is a small twin room next to a pub with lots of history,
AAnonymous UserThis hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was very spacious, definitely more than 18 square meters. The view of the grass outside the window was very beautiful. There was a fireplace in the lobby, which was very classic. The breakfast was a combination of buffet and ordering, and they paid great attention to the presentation. The whole hotel was high-end in style and had first-class value for money.
ZZhouxiaolaThis hotel in Canterbury is highly recommended. The hotel should have a history of more than 100 years. It is a family business. The house looks ancient from the outside, but it has been renovated inside. The lobby is quite modern. We booked a king-size room, which was very large. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also large. The key point is that the hotel parking lot is free. If you drive to Canterbury, I highly recommend staying here. It takes about 20 minutes to park the car and walk to the center of Canterbury. Compared with international chains, we prefer these local hotels, which are less crowded, quieter, more comfortable, and more cost-effective.
GGuest UserI have stayed at this hotel many times, in the heart of the city, the location is very good, the door is the most lively high street. The hotel's meals are great and the service is very good.

Comfortable beds
Plenty of space
Friendly staff
Good value for money and tasty food
Convenient location
Cons.
Internet is very unstable
I stayed here for three days and there was no house keeping at all, even the towels were not changed!
