This place is a gem! Wow we were impressed! This is a historic 17th century (I believe 1693) building with renovated modern hotel. It is adjacent to the Duomo but tucked away in a quiet street nearby. The staff is amazing from Renato to Alessandra you could not ask for better service. But what blew us away is the restoration of this majestic rooms (I believe only 7 rooms). Breakfast was included in our rate and we could choose from amazing Sicilian treats and we selected the breakfast the night before. Then in the morning the amazing breakfast was brought in pushable service table that was beautifully decorated. Delicious! Highly recommend this wonderful place! PS they also organized transportation to airport

This hotel is the epitome of luxury! There are 7 gloriously appointed rooms with a personal staff to welcome you and treat you like royalty. The location to the Duomo is excellent too - we could walk everywhere in the city with this as our base. The upscale room appointments are memorable. The service the BEST of any hotel we have stayed in too. The three managers are personable, gracious, kind and attentive. Breakfast was served in charming area as were afternoon drinks. Dinner recommendations by the staff were an A+++ too. This is the reason we will return to Catania - to stay here!

Location is as central as can be, literally a stones throw from Piazza Duomo. Rooms very nice. Pleasant common area with snacks and wine. Very friendly and helpful staff (gave good restaurant recommendations). THe only downsides are that they don't serve breakfast. I can see that they don't have the facilities to do anything like a full breakfast but a cup of coffee and some bread or pastries in the (very nice) common area would be a nice touch. Also it might not be a place if you have heavy luggage or impaired mobility. It's in a partially pedestrianised zone so taxi access to the door might not be possible. Also whilst there is a lift from the ground floor to the entrance (1st floor) there is no lift in the hotel and the stairs are quite steep. But these are minor issues, this is a really nice and characterful hotel.

The service and attention to detail here were excellent. The staff were extremely helpful, including one person who went way above and beyond and helped my wife sort out a problem with our airline reservations. From the welcoming glass of wine, the morning coffee and croissants, and the beautiful room, the experience exceeded our expectations. With a location in the heart of Catania with a view of the Duomo, we were just a short walk from numerous restaurants and night life. We did use their valet service, as parking in this central area is challenging. We would certainly stay here again.

A beautifully restored palazzo, immediately adjacent to the Piazza del Duomo - the location is ideal for walking around the city. Our room was simply gorgeous. The staff were welcoming and helpful with dining and other recommendations.

I had the most wonderful stay at the Palazzo Marletta Luxury House Hotel. After 3 weeks of travel, it was such a treat and luxury to stay in such a beautiful, intimate place. The rooms are gorgeous and comfortable and the historical center is right outside the door. Everyone who works here is friendly, knowledgable, and extremely helpful. What a lovely team! The breakfast was amazing too. A perfect and special experience!

Palazzo Marletta is an excellent hotel with modern amenities, very comfortable and pleasant to stay in. The staff were very helpful and friendly and spoke English very well. My wife and I had a great stay. The hotel is on the edge of the main square and there are plenty of excellent restaurants, bars, cafes and shops to browse in. Hotel is only 20 mins away from the airport.

Amazing luxury in the dead center of Catania. Great rooms, super welcoming staff, fantastic breakfast, helpful concierge, Chihuahua allowed. Airport pick up and return. I could not have been better-taken care of anywhere in Catania. Thank you and Bravo
