Nice place. Good spacy Roms and excellent breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. A little Long from everything and though sad that their restaurant is closed Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays.

Stayed here as two couples for four nights. I am surprised by some of the ealier reviews which are clearly out of date and do not represent our experience. This small hotel has a calm rural setting. The old house has been beautifully and stylishly developed. Rooms are well equipped with fridge, kettle, coffee makers etc. And in particular with comfortable beds and very effective air conditioning. As our stay was for Golden Wedding celebrations with friends who live nearby, we only ate in the restaurant one night. Our meal was well cooked and presented and included a range of fresh local ingredients. Breakfast each morning was a real treat and elegantly delivered to our table on a tray. Overall, fantastic value and I have no hesitation in giving le Melchior the highest recommendation.

Bel endroit au calme,le restaurant possède une belle terrasse, l'accueil est chaleureux,nous y sommes allés un soir ,il y a 2 menus un à 25€ et un autre à 37€, nous avons été surpris par celui à 25€ très bon rapport qualité prix,belle présentation des plats ,la quantité est suffisante pour un soir ,que ce soit l'entrée,le plat principal et le dessert nous n'avons pas été déçu,la prochaine fois nous resterons le menu à 37€,pour le service ça va assez vite pas de longue attente entre les plats,le personnel à le sourire et est sympathique.pensez à réserver

On m’en avait fait des éloges et le soufflet est vite retombé. Assiette ébréchée, anguilles qui baignaient dans l’huile, entrecôte cuite dans une poêle, bref un vrai supplices pour nos papilles. Dommage, le cadre mérite beaucoup mieux dans cette région où il fait bon vivre

La chambre est plus que spacieuse, c'est en fait une suite.
Rien à redire sur les équipements, à part un détail insignifiant mais qui a causé pas mal de problèmes à mon épouse: un seul oreiller par personne et celui-ci est bien trop gros, ce qui a conduit à des ennuis de cervicales. C'est plus une - belle - maison d'hôte doublée d'un restaurant qu'un hôtel: nous sommes arrivés à 15h15, et réception fermait de 15h à 18h. Heureusement j'ai été prévenu préalablement par SMS du code du portail et notre clé de chambre nous attendait. Idem au départ, personne à la réception, et nous avons donc laissé la clé où nous l'avons trouvée. La carte du restaurant est alléchante mais nous n'avons pu en profiter car le restaurant est fermé le dimanche soir et le lundi, seuls jours que nous avions de disponible. Au final nous ne nous plaindrons pas car le service a été assuré grâce au sms, et la chambre était très belle, mais un peu plus de présence humaine aurait été apprécié, d'où la note.
