This is probably one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The setting, rooms and public rooms are beautiful and inviting. Food was first class. What made it so special was the staff. Attentive and friendly, but never rushed. They made us feel relaxed and comfortable. From the first turn into the driveway to the hotel we knew we'd picked the perfect spot for our anniversary. It just got better from there. The welcome was warm and friendly and we were shown around the beautiful lounge and bar areas. Our room was great with views over the peaceful countryside. The sitting area in our room was big enough to be very comfortable. It was all spotlessly clean with good quality linens, towels, tea and coffee - real milk in the fridge was very welcome as were the yummy chocolates. We had breakfast and evening meal at the hotel both days - what a treat! Choice was small but good and the food was just delicious and beautifully presented. Again, staff were superb; informative and friendly. We have already recommended this hotel - enthusiastically - to friends and family. We look forward to visiting again.

Recently celebrated a 90th birthday & Mother's day at this beautiful venue with an afternoon tea for family and friends. We hired a private room, were warmly welcomed & spent a very enjoyable afternoon. Food was beautiful, staff very helpful & attentive. Plenty to eat, selection of delicious sandwiches & cakes, followed by freshly baked scones still warm from the oven! Brokencote is a firm favourite with our 90 year old mum, so we will be back soon to treat her (& ourselves!) again. Highly recommended.

I booked my room in December via ***********, so not exactly last minute. I travelled from Wiltshire today and my stay was supposed to be a relaxing break before travelling onward to Edinburgh tomorrow. However, the roadworks around the hotel are an absolute nightmare! Every side road is closed and the directions posted on the website mean absolutely nothing if you are not local. There are no indications of the works on *********** It took me over an hour to get from Kidderminster to the hotel - less than 5 miles. SatNav was in melt-down! I was sent a copy of the directions after 3 phone calls on route but they arrived in my inbox too late to help. I was so angry when I arrived that I left and stayed at Hogarth Stone Manor instead, where I have stayed many times and is superb. Had I been notified of the road closures and diversions in good time: a) I could have planned my route at my leisure and b) changed my booking, if necessary, at least 48hrs before today and had the benefit of free cancellation I cannot believe the lack of foresight on the part of the hotel and I will not book with them again I will have to accept the charge on my card but some form of acknowledgement from the hotel would be good

Very poor management. Today I along with others attended their monthly Inspirational Lunch (apparently they can’t call it Ladies Lunch anymore!). The road into the village was closed but no one from the hotel bothered to make contact with us by phone or email to let us know this was the case and the plump guy who spoke to us at the beginning of the lunch blamed Severn Trent?! It was appalling and we had several miles of unmarked detour and got there more by luck than judgement. I’m sure they couldn’t be bothered whether we got there or not as we have to pay £35 upfront. This is not the first time management of the hotel has been wanting. They never returned the deposits we paid before lunches were cancelled because of covid and never informed anyone when the lunches returned. It’s a shame as individual staff are lovely as is the food.

This is by far one of the best places I have stopped!!! From being welcomed into the hotel by staff to leaving the entire experience was of very high quality. My partner injured her leg recently and they could not help enough to make her stay enjoyable by allowing her shorter routes around the hotel which in my eyes was incredible. This was a trip for valentines which had a high expectations and this was exceeded. I want to say a big thank-you to all the staff working 18/19 feb for there efforts and they really could not have done more to make our stay incredible!!!

Amazing from start to finish. Friendly staff who seemed genuinely keen to make sure the stay was enjoyable. Beds were super comfy, complimentary water, fruit and biscuits in the room. We had an evening meal and the food was delicious as was cooked breakfast. A really enjoyable stay.

I can't express how wonderful our stay was here. The hotel goes above and beyond in every instance. It's an absolutely beautiful building in a picturesque part of the country. The staff were extremely polite and gave a top notch service throughout the entire stay. The food, both dinner and breakfast ,was delicious and high quality. We were given a free room upgrade and placed in accomodation that was beyond expectation. The bedroom and bathroom were huge! The room was pure comfort and very exquisitely decorated. There was a special turn down service as well, so that when we returned to the room, the bed was prepared for us to climb into, cups were laid out with chamomile tea bags at the ready, slippers were by the bed, and soft radio music was playing through the TV. I've never experienced anything quite like this before and was just overwhelmingly happy with the detail of service. We also were able to use the conference room facilities during our stay and were provided with everything we needed. Checking in and out was a smooth experience. I would highly recommend the venue. It has many beautiful rooms, from the bar and restaurant spaces, to the library. Truly an enjoyable stay that I'll remember for a long time to come!

The whole experience has been fabulous. The staff are friendly, helpful and very professional. The food in the restaurant and for breakfast was top notch. The room and bathroom was very clean and spacious and the service with the turn down was a nice surprise. Would definitely recommend.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in recently. The welcome on arrival was excellent and informative and we were shown to a lovely room overlooking fields of sheep. There were log fires in the lounges and 2 rooms off the main reception area were set up for private dinner parties. During our stay we found all the staff exceptional. Food and service both brilliant. We left after our 3 night stay feeling relaxed and pleased w it’s our choice of hotel. We look forward to our next holiday there
