Excellent
KKara TaiThis hotel is in a fantastic location, in the middle of many shops and restaurants. International brand shopping is within walking distance. The views from the window are outstanding. The bed is comfortable.
The front desk staff was very helpful in recommending places to eat and other sites.
My only complaint is that I found several hairs in the shower upon inspecting the room. This issue should be addressed with housekeeping.
GGuest UserThis hotel is fab for a break, it is ideally located in the port with fantastic views, the room with a balcony is a must for relaxing with a glass of wine and soaking up the atmosphere, the buffet breakfast was a great start to the day with lovely bread choices from croissants to chocolate cake with plenty fresh fruit, scrambled eggs beans and cereals all in all it was a great stay would definitely go again
GGuest UserHotel perfect for a night on our way to Spain from the UK. Sadly lift wasn't working and we were given a room in 3rd floor and we travel with a child with disabilities what it was a bit unfortunate to have to walk up the stairs with him, the dog and the bags...
GGuest UserVery conveniently situated near the train station and not a far walk to the docks. Whilst choice of breakfast was limited; my stay was otherwise very enjoyable
GGuest UserI really like this hotel, the location is perfect for the old town, with shops, bars, cafes etc within a few metres walk. The main transport square is only maybe 50m away, with lots of buses and bikes. It’s such a cool vibe inside the hotel, like 70’s style. Very friendly staff, very good value. The breakfast is ok, like a continental selection, nothing hot (apart from boiled eggs) but it’s fine. I’m on the second floor and here is a slight fan type noise all the time, it’s quieter as you go down each floor, but I’ve slept well. The veranda is a little grubby, as is the central outdoor area, but everything else is immaculate. Don’t expect that perfect modern hotel look, the bathroom for example looks “dated” but that’s the point - it’s really clean and looks so cool and homely, not like all the usual modern hotels that have no character. Good selection of books downstairs. I really like the place, originally booked 3 nights but extended that to just over a week which says something. Only marked 3 for Services as there’s not much else other than rooms, a chill out area and the breakfast room, so don’t expect spas/pools etc
AAfroSaxonGreat stay at Hotel Bordo! It’s located just a stone throw from the port, in the old town. Beautifully decorated rooms. Our bed was large double and soft pillows.
KKaren L.The hotel is 10~15 minutes walk from the centre/ the pier. There’s a supermarket Carrefour City nearby that you can easily grab some water or snacks on the way back in the evening. The hotel feels a bit dated but the room is reasonably clean. Ladies should note there’s only a 2 in 1 shampoo/shower gel provided in the bathroom so bring your own shampoo and hair conditioner. The receptionist is cheerful and very helpful when I asked for informations. The only issue I noticed is it seems there’s a club nearby and I could hear the music vaguely even after midnights. Nevertheless, I’d say the stay was good value overall.
Aantonio moserVery calm location near town center, car rental and train station.
The room seemed clean, but as you are responsible for washing the dishes ( machine provided) you never know what the previous guest did.
Reception is not open 24/24: it closes even for lunch, so pay attention to your arriving time.
GGuest UserIn the whole, a good young man and a good renovation a rolling part did not work and the TV reception almost inexistent.Very good geographical location any convenience port aquarium cinema restaurant walking..
