This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Everthing perfect. The reception staff are friendly, efficient and are always smiling. the rooms are large, very modern and perfectly clean, the roomboy David does an amzing job every day. The breakfast is huge and has a great choice and everything is fresh and well presented. The swimming pool area with its bar and resturant have a lovely atmoshere. and its great that you can swim up to midnight. Dip one of the waiters is friendly and very attentive. I will be back next year and will never ever stay anywhere else in Chennai

The entire butler team (Bala, Saravanan and Napolean who made sure they went the extra mile at the lounge. The entire Jiva Spa team who made sure we were well rested and relaxed. The entire restaurant and kitchen at Southern Spice team who enticed us with their superb food. The entire Front Office team who made our check-in and check-out seamless. The entire Door*** and Concierge team who helped us with our endless shopping bags. The entire Housekeeping team who did something small every day to put a smile on our faces when we returned back to the room. I had the most wonderful experience at Taj Connemara. Right from check in where my the receptionist upgraded me, to my encounter with Gracy Varghese, who noticed my tired and worn out state and sent me foot bath to my room. (I was so touched I could cry) she was god sent. Cherry on the cake was my dinner at Rain tree. Venky and Arpita ensured I try a bit of everything and not once did they make me feel that I was dining alone on a work trip, Chef Vinod cooked up delicious delicacies and the payasam was out of the world. I am so glad I stayed here, fallen in love with Chennai thanks to the courteous staff of Taj Connemara. Will definitely visit again and come back with family. Highly recommend! ♥️

The room is of a good size. The room is relatively large. After the customer service changed a house, I called each morning to greet me. Very caring. The window was locked. I could n’t open the window by myself. The outside air is polluted ~ The wifi is okay ~ It is a good start for my whole trip ~

It’s my mistake on review of *********** I had book such a hotel first on arrival the hotel had taken card payment actually *********** had given to pay at checkout secondly for early check in they charged 1000 extra thou full hotel was empty Then there is renovation work going on in hotel for which there is dust & paint smell in room I had come to chennai for my eye operation so my appointment was at morning 9 am so it was urgent After complaints to *********** the wear offering room in there other hotel which is of more low categories & far from the hospital & *********** also ofer other hotel of low categorie & higher rate Then it’s not possible for me to change hotel as I was busy in hospital whole day then in the night at 10 when I come my room & bed were dusty the hotel staff was not ready to com on asking for towels 3 to 4 time hotel says the don’t have extra towel the cups were dirty there were cockroaches in the rum the bed make noes so I decided to change the hotel at 11 in night But unfortunately not the hotel nor *********** is refunding the amount Been the hospital problem I had paid again with request to all not to use booking review and not to book this hotel please
