great place and central for Chester only niggle was we had booked with breakfast but got charged for it because we upgraded to full english rather than continental and on the booking it just says breakfast

Great Hotel, with lovely rooms ( I tad dated for some tastes). Service was first class, with a lovely meal in the brasserie eaten. Breakfast is high standard with good old table service, the brasserie is a lovely room for meals. Wife had a massage in the spa, which was one of the best she had had!
Car park near Hotel, cases taken to room, staff very friendly and more than happy to help.
Location right in the middle of Chester for close access to shops, Bars and restaurants
Only Negative, Breakfast could have been hotter. And added service charges to bill automatically.
Drinks are very expensive, but to be expected for a 5 start Hotel

We stayed here for my daughters graduation, it was an excellent Choice due to the central location. The buffet breakfast was more than enough to start the day, we didn’t need to upgrade to the full English even though it looked good.

This is a treasure hotel discovered during my trip to England. If you go to Chester, don’t miss this unique British scenery. A family of three stayed in two executive rooms, which were beautifully decorated and spotless, showing that the management level and service standards are unambiguous. Regardless of the hotel's location, facilities, guest rooms, catering and services, it is impeccable, first-class, and very cost-effective. It is the best choice in Chester.
The beautiful old Chester, a low-key and luxurious British-style hotel, is deeply impressive and unforgettable, and I hope to return.
