Dinner was amazing sitting by the river watching kayaks and dragon boats training .. the photos don’t do This place justice .. 2 mins walk away is local open air food courts .. hotel staff recommended and helped organise our days out . I absolutely loved my stay here and the check out gift was a great idea 😊 They seem to understand that every trip is special and it is hard to book a trip within our busy lives. They made the stay so comfortable and special - i feel very grateful to have found this gem. Massive thank you to all the staff - at the front desk, and at the restaurant every breakfast, with special shout to Moth. They were so accommodating, service was prompt and efficient - 6 stars ⭐️ Its a beautiful hotel/hotel grounds, spacious, quiet, nice but not pretentious. Breakfast was delicious, great pastries, can choose any a la carte. I have been in Thailand for 2 weeks on this trip, having stayed in 3 other hotels which were mediocre - I am happy I ended with this one. I will definitely be back!

The pool is very small just for kids to play around. 5. There was power supply cut for hours due to bad storm however there was no notice circulated to hotel guests. This should a practice for hotel management communication to hotel guests.

There are two buildings in the villa. On the second floor of the main building are two double-bed rooms and one standard room. Downstairs is the living room, kitchen, dining room and bathroom. The second floor of another building has two rooms, one is a suite, and the other has three beds. The whole villa is very large and can accommodate many people. For breakfast, we bought the ingredients ourselves and ate it in the garden. The villa also provided milk juice and various spices. The butler was also very caring. We also booked a BBQ the next day, one thousand baht per person. It was very hearty and tasted great. This stay was really great.

I arrived to the hotel and on the outside it looked really nice, and the staff was very nice. The girl who checked me in thow wasn't that great to understand english, so I was lucky to speak some thai. The didn't help you with your bags up to the room, but I didn't mind because I travel with good working bags that has wheels. When I came in the room the first thing that hit me was a bad smell from the toilet. (I was given a room on the top floor 608 to be precise. The size of the room was ok, but the furniture I could see how dirty and worn down rhey where. It looked like something the bought on a fleemarket. Further on I tried the bed it was the worst matress I have ever slept on, not only that the hotel is next to a road and at night it was so noicy from traffic so I didn't get much sleep. Sometimes I woke up and thought I had a motorbike in my room. I had booked a stay for 5 nights, but after 1 night I decided to move. So after one more painful night I checked out from this hotel and will NEVER return again.

We spent a few days in August in this hotel and the truth is that it was excellent value for money. The friendly and decisive staff. Location in the square of Chiang Mai, totally central. On the other hand, the room was cozy, and the pool, although logical because we are in Thailand in the north, there were a lot of mosquitoes, it was clean and the same as the room, cozy and clean. Rooms are so ordinary and in good condition. Unfortunately, the shower is only separated by a corner and the bathroom is mostly wet when doing the shower. The hall is very modern, unfortunately everything is very bright. The situation is unfortunately not good if you are usually too far on the road. I had to take a taxi/tuktuk in two days for all routes because the route 1 is relatively long and 2 is not pleasant to go. There's a lot of things that you'd save with a more central hotel. We had read that the hotel should be in a culinary area, but we have not seen it and have thus spent time in other areas day and evening.

The River Art Hotel has been a little gem in Chiang Mai. It is close enough to sights but not in a touristy area so it is peaceful and quiet. The Old City is about 10 mins away by tuk tuk, lots of shops and restaurants to try. The River Art Hotel is directly on the river and has a garden area with tables to enjoy breakfast with a view. The staff are friendly, helpful and professional. I stayed here with my small dog and we both had a great time. The room was large and clean with a balcony overlooking the river. The bathroom was fantastic with a big soaker tub and rain shower. I was very happy with my stay here and would stay here again.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Hometel 51 and would recommend them for anyone staying short or long term in Chiang Mai. The Facilities: stylish, modern, and minimalist with everything you need for a nice stay, huge desk in the bedroom if you need to work, luxurious bathtub is more like a tiny pool!, balconies, nice coworking area downstairs, garden outside, laundry room downstairs, beautiful bakery/restaurant next door open until 3 pm each day, 711 in walking distance. Staff: Probably the best part of Hometel, friendly, accommodating, always willing to help with any issues. We had a bad experience with a different condo and they accommodated us with less than half a days notice. Price: To get such a nice level of cleanliness, service, and security, I find the price to be extremely cheap and well worth it. Internet: Strong and stable throughout the building even though its shared internet, low ping and high speeds. The 51Hometel is hands down the best place to stay in Chiang Mai! You won't ever want to leave!

The hotel has a weird lay out. The elevator reaches only from 2nd to 4th floor. We had to carry our luggage up several flights of stairs from the first floor to reach an elevator then more hauling of our luggage to the 5th floor. The hotel is located near a main road and it was noisy throughout the night. There were no electrical outlets in the bathroom. The tiles in a bathroom were broken and cleanliness was not the hotel’s priority. We stayed only one night. And we will not be staying here again in the future

The hotel is located in the heart of the city. Close to Chiang Mai Rajabhat University and most importantly, close to Kad Jai Jai, only 200 meters, spacious rooms, good air conditioning, strong flowing water, warm water works very well even though it is very cold outside. Parking is both indoor and a very wide parking lot. Parking is comfortable. Attentive staff, good service There is a free coffee machine with the morning. WIFI works very well. There is a 7/11 Shop within 100 meters of the hotel and a few mom and pop eateries around the hotel. The hotel is in a quiet area so no traffic sounds but one can hear the neighbors in their rooms. The room was clean. Furniture not to current modern standards but it has a fridge, microwave and hot water boiler (not a kettle - although some rooms might have one). They clean the room daily and stock it with toiletries like small soaps, shampoo sachets and toilet paper as well as two 600ml bottles of water, 2 coffee sachets and two snacks when they come to clean the room.
