Find the Cheap Paphos Hotels

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times before. We usually go for a week long stay in April or a 4 night stay in November. On this occasion it was the later. We had a very pleasant stay in a sea / pool view twin room. The room was well equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Mini fridge re-filled daily (with soft drinks & water) and the room cleaning was very good. The majority of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful aside from the staff at the pool bar who seemed to be quite cold and unfriendly. The service in the main lobby bar was a bit slow despite multiple waiting staff walking around doing nothing. The restaurant staff, cleaning lady, spa staff and reception staff were all super friendly and professional. We were able to enjoy the asian a-la-carte restaurant on this visit which is not usually open in November - it was exceptional. The american diner and main restaurant are also very good & the snackeria is handy for a small snack during the day. The swimming pool is brilliant at this hotel and one of the main reasons we keep coming back. It is a tad cold in November but we still enjoyed swimming. The sunbed allocation system is excellent and takes all of the stress out of securing sun beds every day. We used the spa for a full body massage and it was amazing. highly recommend booking a treatment. There are a couple of things which I feel make this place not quite a luxury 5 star (compared to other places we have stayed in Turkey, Egypt etc). Firstly, the pool side service - there is none. You have to go to the bar yourself which is odd as most 5 star places have pool side waiters. The other issue is the drinks options. Since our last visit, the list of drinks included in the All Inc has shrunk and the list of ”paid extras” has grown significantly. Basic spirits that you normally get at most hotels (for example Malibu, Amaretto etc) are not included and only available if you pay extra. This is not very 5 star luxury in our opinion. There are some restaurants and bars open in the local area and the Harbour is only a short drive / 20 mins walk away and filled with options. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would happily return if the price is right.

The hotel is located in the center of the tourist area of Paphos, which is a five-minute walk to the archaeological park and Paphos Castle. It's surrounded by restaurants and bars. It's good in all aspects and the breakfast it good.

Hello. We had lunch at Café Occidental. Very beautiful place, perfect service but nothing to do with the quality of Elysium's prestige when it comes to food. I saw the sweets and thought they were masterpieces and the food was like fast food. My experience at the Elysium Hotel was magical. The breakfast, the decoration, everything was amazing. But you have to do something about the Cafe meals. It is very unfair to you. If you want me to give you some advice, I will be very happy.

Breakfast super buffet everything delicious, and corresponds to the price-performance ratio, for dinner a restaurant VIVA CYPRUS is very RECOMMENDED nearby. Great location. In Paphos the buses are bad, please rent a car immediately, it's cheap 10-20 €/day... the taxis are expensive and they screw every pig... So please rent a car. Staff: I thank you from the bottom of my heart, you are the best... Always helpful and very human... My wife did not feel well during the holiday and went to the hospital. They allowed me to take breakfast to go for my wife and a delivery box prepared for this... That was really great. Cons : the hotel is a bit old and the facilities need to be updated but that's easily ignored when you have such a great friendly staff. Sauna against 7€ extra which is also disadvantageous in my opinion. So in a big goose the hotel is very good and I book there again and again 😁. Greetings from Chaban family

We are a couple from England who had the pleasure to stay at M Boutique Hotel in Paphos, we really enjoyed the whole atmosphere, the staff were very polite and attentive, the hotel is very lovely and has excellent service, the whole Island is beautiful and the people are very warm, we will definitely come back again.

We've just returned from a week stay at basilica. We arrived late at night, and was greeted by the most friendly and welcoming receptionist, Crystella. We were offered sandwiches, as we'd missed dinner. Unfortunately the sister hotel hadn't notified Basilica, that myself and daughter were coeliac. We were given a box of fruit each (apple 🍏 , 2 banana🍌 and grapefruit) and my husband ham and cheese sandwich. Crystella even offered to print our boarding passes off, on departure. We were in room 301 Thalia block, which is up 3 flights of stairs (no lift option), at the far end of the corridor. There was no working bulb outside 301 +302, and this was the case throughout out stay. The housekeeping left the mop and bucket outside our room all week. On 2 occasions, my family had near accidents, because the mop/ broom was laid across the corridor, obviously not visible, with no working light 🙄 The apartment itself is very dated, but perfectly adequate. Lobby, kitchenette (microwave, fridge/ freezer, cooker) we didn't use as we were all inclusive. bathroom (bath + shower) additional bedroom (no bed) with broken and covered dishwasher..we stored our cases in this room. Bedroom, and dining room with sofa bed. Double balcony (which did have dried cat poo, which also stayed throughout our stay). The beds do have mattress protectors and were very comfortable :-) Our room was cleaned once during our stay, and unfortunately it was day 2, which resorted in our charger being damaged by house keeping. This was resolved and replacement purchased by management, after I address the issue with reception. We needed fresh towels, and on going to get these, from the only housekeeping point, discovered used plates, and rotting fruit stashed away. Obviously contributing to the ants we kept getting, including in our toiletries bag, and 2 cockroaches we found on our corridor. The restaurant front of house greeter, Yoti, was so lovely and welcoming, greeting all guests like old family and friends, chatting without being pushy. Raj and Katerina, make the most delicious fresh omelettes. The bar mn, who does the afternoon/ evening shift is so lovely and friendly, even chatting with my partner about when he worked a bar in England. The whole team are just wonderful ❤️ The pool is a little fresh at this time of year, but didn't stop my partner enjoying it. My daughter and I enjoyed the loungers, which are plentiful. There are a lot of resident cats, the black and white with black moustache, we nicknamed Cornell Nibbles, the silver grey, smokey all enjoy treats and kind words, and the occasional game of chase the paper straw! We did see a small room bit, just by the pool, with a small sign saying kids club. The door was always closed, lights on. 1 lady was always inside, and never looked approachable, and not once did we see her come out, and interact with the younger children. Not really applicable, as our daughter is 16, but even she commented, it was nothing like the

We came in December, during the off-season. The hotel was very inexpensive (315 Euro for 3 nights) and not crowded. Our room was huge - a full kitchen with appliances and a washing machine, dining table, couch (not a comfortable one), amazing balcony, a nice bedroom and two full bathrooms. The kosher food was delicious and plentiful. We got fresh omelets in the morning from Chef Yaakov and made sandwiches for later. Dinner was 35 Euro per person and was a huge buffet with at least 3 proteins, sides and a salad bar. There was even a bowl of fruit and a yummy cake and donuts (for Chanuka). Small random grievances - there is a pipe in the shower that gets scalding hot when the shower is on; don't touch it or you'll burn yourself! I didn't find the couch or the bed especially comfortable, though I did appreciate the extra pillows. Neither of the bathroom doors have locks on them. Despite the festive Christmas display that the Capital Coast Hotel (host hotel) put out, the lobby has a very tired look. Fun bonus: during one of our dinners in the kosher dining room, there was a group of interactive dancers who put on a fun show. I recommend this hotel! I hope to return soon.

Having stayed here two years ago I thought that all would be well. The rooms we had were lovely and easily accessible without requests. (June 2022) I travelled with a group both times, but this specific booking was for myself and my nan who is in her 70's, prior to flying, I emailed the hotel directly to request a room that was mobility friendly, near my room and near a lift. The rooms we were given were rooms 115 and 119. The hallway leading to these rooms were vile, old carpet with year's worth of stains on them. I let my nan have the room with the double bed for ease however the shower was impossible for her to access alone, myself and my mum had to make sure we were with her each time she showered to ensure she could get in and out and not slip. Rubber mat was provided however the height of the bath was ridiculous and she wouldn't have been able to do it alone. My brother was in a newer room that had a walk in shower, so he requested the same for my nan but was told this wasn't possible as it was fully booked, he booked the same kind of room as I did on our booking. Mostly reception were unhelpful, to say the least. Saying that, the rooms were clean and tidy and the maids were great, with the signs you can put on the door for cleaning or not. The hotel is in a great location and the staff in the pool bar work incredibly hard, always with a smile on their face, except for one older guy who was there the last time we stayed and looked like he would rather be anywhere else but working! Maja (cocktail party), marianna and one other guy were super friendly and would go out of their way to help! Micheal on the bar inside was as great as he was last time 😊 Sunbed wars ensued during the week but we always managed to find a decent space and there was 7 of us. It's unfortunate that I would choose not to come here again due to the requests not being fulfilled on the rooms as this is a lovely hotel, it seems that singles are put wherever they may have room, regardless of need, at least update them a bit and replace the carpet!! Also go to the spa for an Indian massage, you won't regret it!
