Loved the location. the staff were excellent, polite and genuine. A special mention goes out to Maria, front desk manager. She was humerous, and very knowledgeable of the area. She provided me with maps, and some background history of Cyprus, which i was very much appreciative for. My room was clean, The cleaning staff were very persistent in wanting to come and clean the room when we were still there, it was a little annoying, but i admired their dedication. the hotel is beautiful, Very much so an intimate setting. Definitely worth rebooking.

We’re just back from the King Jason and had an amazing holiday, The hotel staff are outstanding at making you welcome in every way . The hotel was always super clean and the food was the best we’re ever had at this standard of hotel , Only slight minus to us was the entertainment was not to our liking but you can’t please everyone. If you want to be made very welcome with good food and super attentive staff the King Jason is for you. Would I go back yes in a heart beat .

Well what can I say reading these reviews I must have been at a different hotel . Only positive is the staff are amazing and make the place very welcoming and very friendly !! This is not a 4 star hotel average age of customers are 65-75 way too quiet for us .some people have been going for years only thing I can think is that they haven’t been anywhere nice to compare so easily pleased . A lot of returning customers felt like they owned the place . No background music at the pools no atmosphere at all . Pools dirty never hoovered pebbles and stones at bottom of pools , scum line on pools is awful not cleaned , most jets on hot tub don’t work . Drains on pool deck level some broken very dangerous . Rooms dirty thick dust on window sills, microwave dirty , no iron in room yet an ironing board ? No bowls . Some bulbs out in room too . Mini bar as it’s all inclusive is shocking . A bottle of water and a bottle of brut no soft drinks or beers etc not what you normally get in an all inclusive . Food was ok nothing amazing not sure what everyone got excited about . We ate out most nites harbour bout ten mins away 18 euros return in taxi . Note you can’t get food or snacks after 9pm it’s all inclusive and you’re on holiday yet restricted . Should be classed as full board . Sunbeds there is a battle for them you at least need to be up by 7 am to get one . A lot of money for an average hotel . Over all on first glance looks lovely closer up you see the cracks

We had read the reviews so felt pretty confident we had chosen a good hotel. We had also been to Paphos twice before so we knew the hotel was not near the beach but we decided the price outweighed the luxury of a sea view. We were impressed to find the hotel ran a mini bus service to the beach - the harbour- and the shopping Mall. This was very popular and not everyone fitted on the minibus and he had to come back for people. Arrival- on arrival which was after 11pm because of late flights and delays we were told to sit down in the foyer. We were handed out paperwork to fill in and given a chocolate and a drink when we really wanted to go to our room and get settled. Once all paperwork was filled in we had to wait for someone to take our bags to our room. This was up three flights of stairs with no lift so I understand why they do this. Everyone I spoke to afterwards said they found this weird and was rather annoying and confusing but I think it was because there was a lot of arrivals off the coach all at once. But this was not good and needs sorting out or another method used. Room- pool view studio - we were happy with our room as it was as the photo showed so no real surprises except the bathroom definitely needs an upgrade. ( the rooms are getting a refurb in winter 24) We were given a lovely jute pool bag with two towels ready to take to the pool and we were told these bags were complimentary which was a lovely touch. Also a box in the fridge with a sandwich a muffin and an apple as we had arrived late. A bottle of fizz ( not great) and a jar of marmalade- a miniature box of Turkish delight and some peanut brittle which was a lovely touch. There was tea / coffee and milk but these disappointedly were never replenished. The bathroom was spotless and the shower over the bath worked well. We did find there was not enough storage for our clothes so I hung my dresses on the hangers and just kept my case on the luggage rack and used things out of there. ( made packing up to go home easier) Food- now this is where I was very disappointed. I found it very hard to enjoy breakfast as the food is limited. Only a couple of fresh fruits on display which was always melon… it’s the first hotel abroad that I have been in that doesn’t display an abundance of fruit. People were enjoying the omelettes and I had fried egg bacon & tomato one day but I didn’t want to eat that every day. The pastries were rubbish- same two every day and bread for toast was dry and so I didn’t enjoy the toast. There were miniature croissants but they were cold and the hotel does not have real butter- it’s either margarine spread or a buttety spread which tastes cheap. Lunch and Evening Meal was a poor choice too - I usually ended up with soup and a roll and we ate out twice during the week we spent there. The sweets/ desserts were the worst I’d seen in a decent hotel like this and they were repetitive. This is one big reason why I personally would not return he

I don’t understand how everyone has rated this hotel so high! It’s a 3 star at best. The good points - 1. Very comfy sun loungers and a brolly for every 2 loungers. 3 pools. 2. Air con works well in the rooms. 3. Large rooms with a mini kitchen, fridge and sofa area. 4. The new Al a carte restaurant was very good. The buffet food was satisfactory. 5. It is very clean and the maids do a very good job with cleaning the rooms and did amazing towel art for us on new towel days. Things that need improving / are not the best - 1. Location is not very nice, it’s on the main road so you get noise by the pool and it’s a walk to anywhere. It’s so incredibly hot that you just can’t walk anywhere even at night. I wouldn’t want to walk by myself at night near the hotel it’s a bit iffy. 2. It’s very dated and shows signs of wear. It needs a full refurbishment. See pictures of our room but there was no beside plug for one person so you need to bring an extension cord. The ward robe is tiny with only 3 drawers and 8 hangers between you all. The chairs in the dining room and lounge are worn and breaking. 3. The water pressure is the worse I have ever had in any hotel worldwide. At one point mid shower it literally stopped and I had to abandon it until it was “fixed” back to its usual dribble. 4. Considering the rooms are large the bathroom is tiny and the bath with the shower above is very narrow. If you are a larger person I don’t know you would fit. 5. Although the staff are friendly enough the service time needs significant improvement, we often had to wait a while for drinks orders at the table, or bar and the lounger drinks orders infrequent. 6. Food is hit and miss. 7. Entertainment is a bit naff. 8. The pools are very hot and a bit tired, the jets in the hydropool often don’t work and there is grit or sand in the bottom of the pools (we are no where near the sea!). I would not return and as a 4 star hotel I was very disappointed and even looked at coming home early as I didn’t really enjoy this stay. My sister came at the same time to Paphos to a different hotel (as they have children) and had a much nicer experience.

We chose this hotel after staying in the King Jason Protaras in 2023, we had a great experience there. King Jason Zante has only just opened on 1st July 2024 and we stayed in the first week of opening. Unsurprisingly there are still aspects of the hotel that need finishing and we were told of this prior to our arrival. The hotel location is on a hillside just above the town of Tsilivi, you can walk to the town in 5 minutes and there is a very small and limited beach area which was very crowded. Unfortunately, unlike Protaras there isn't a promenade and we didn't find a nice beach walk within easy reach. Tsilivi town is mainly bars, tavernas and gift shops, probably fine if you are looking for more lively entertainment. Zakynthos is a 10 minute (€15) taxi drive and offers a lot more interest and variety. On arrival, the first thing you notice are the views across the Ionian Sea to Kefalonia and mainland Greece - they are spectacular and visible from all of the bedrooms, main pools, dining and bar areas. There is a great sense of space and even with full occupancy (it was 60% when we stayed) there will be plenty of room in the pool areas and sunbeds/cabanas for everyone. No need to get up early and claim a sunbed. We stayed in a second floor standard room without a swim up, the room was perfectly fine with a small balcony and fantastic sea/pool view. In hindsight we probably would have preferred the swim up for the flexibility of being able to swim out. The bed was very comfortable, great shower and nice complimentary toiletries. Nespresso machine for coffee lovers but no tea/milk for those that like it but I am sure they will resolve this. Small niggle is the joint his/her sink - they might look nice but totally impractical for shaving and saving water. The other main concern (which is beyond the hotel's control) is that the local dogs and cockerels from nearby residential properties disturbed our sleep on a regular basis and I know that this was an issue for other guests. For a hotel offering a relaxing getaway this is a very difficult issue to resolve other than resorting to ear plugs (this may be room specific, i.e. those rooms closest to the nearby residences at the entrance to the hotel). Worth mentioning as well that in block 1 and 2 proximity to the entrance means that traffic is audible particularly early in the morning - lorries reversing etc. WiFi is excellent across the whole hotel estate. One of the most noticeable aspects of our stay was the friendliness and professionalism of the staff in all of the areas of the hotel. They were getting used to new systems and processes but they made every effort to make our stay enjoyable and it was very apparent that a lot of effort had gone in to ensuring customers had a good experience. There are 3 main dining options available at different times. The main dining and breakfast restaurant was very good with a wide selection of options. Their salads were fabulous. Pisco and Haroub were the oth
