The service is very good. The front desk staff is very enthusiastic. I don't understand the language, but they also served us very enthusiastically🥰 and helped us store our luggage for a day.
But I don't know why the room has a peculiar smell. It's not smoke. It may be that the previous guests hung clothes at the ventilator. The peculiar smell is very strong.
Other than that, the room is very clean and the bed is very soft.
Is there a sheet under the quilt of the bed? Or something else. When you lift the quilt, it will fall out with the quilt. I don't know what the specific function is😂 I only slept for one night. The experience was good except for the peculiar smell.
This time I was staying in their annex building. The whole building has 5 rooms on two floors. There is a bar on the first floor, where guests can drink freely. The hot spring is in their main building, and there is a business car to pick you up. The waiter is very nice. But it is recommended to book their dinner in advance, because when we went there was off-season, there was no restaurant in Lake Shikotsu that opened at night, and there was no convenience store.

Hotel service is good, the clerk patiently explained
Fully equipped
The food is simple, there are many choices of restaurants nearby
Parking is possible, There is a direct bus to the airport nearby

Wonderful location - secluded near Lake Shikotsu. Great for scenic walks although not easy during winter snow. Walkable to the lake lookout at the Yumasen red bridge. Nice little onsen for evening / morning baths. Great breakfast spread albeit a bit short (have to be done by 9:30am).
It is linked to the train station. Good for those who are catching early flight. The breakfast is good. The interior looks old but the facilities are good.
The room is very large and spacious, and super comfortable. Our room also has an additional Japanese and Japanese area, which is really spacious, and the heating is very warm. There is a large bath on the roof, which is small but easy to soak in. You can also pay to enjoy the SPA. There is a welcome drink in the lobby on the first floor, and free pick-up and drop-off from New Chitose Airport is also provided. Parking is also provided. It's really convenient and nice.
a conveniently located hotel next to the New Chitose Airport. Free selection of Pillows of various texture and pillow case are possible at the lobby.
This is a choice hotel for a night stay in preparation of early flight on the following day. There are lift access to get to the train station. Getting luggage to the train platform was easy.
Hotel has free parking and is next to a Seven-Eleven convenient store.
The hotel is very good. There are oranges to eat on the first morning of the New Year. The shuttle bus can be taken directly to New Chitose Airport, which is very convenient! The attitude of the front desk staff is also very good. In short, it is recommended

Outstanding
SShahrulFatimiWe had the pleasure of staying at Portom International Hokkaido, conveniently located within the New Chitose Airport International Passenger Terminal.
Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the attentive staff, who offered a refreshing welcome drink, setting a positive tone for our stay.
The room was a harmonious blend of modern technology and comfort. Amenities provided were plentiful and of high quality, ensuring a comfortable and convenient stay.
One of the standout features of this hotel is its proximity to a variety of shopping and entertainment options within the airport.
Overall, Portom International Hokkaido exceeded my expectations in every aspect. Highly recommend this hotel and look forward to my next stay.
GGuest UserOne of the best ryokans I have visited in Hokkaido
There are 2x 7 feet bed (very comfy), big projector in the living room, and the in room onsen was spacious and clean!
Clean and modern rooms with a smart tv
The room was overlooking the snow and unfortunately lake view was blocked by the snow.
Both dinner and breakfast were of top notch quality (we have tried many and they're usually very average), every dish was delicious and we were very full and satisfied.
There was also a free beer to each guest every night, big selection of black teas in the lounge and free inari sushi (which was btw delicious!!!)
Definitely 100%% would recommend to anyone that is looking for a last stop before heading to the airport
Hhua321A very nice hot spring resort hotel with beautiful lake views and a pleasant natural environment. It is a place to enjoy the hot springs quietly. The package ordered by Ctrip is buffet in the morning and evening. Although there are many varieties and they are fresh, it is also boring to eat the same thing in the same place every day. So staying there for one night is enough. The service of the hotel is very standardized and polite, but it seems to be mainly for Japanese people. When you meet foreigners, you can only perfunctorily. There are obviously two other restaurants in the hotel that are not buffets, but they refuse to allow package guests to enjoy them, even if they pay more. It is unreasonable. In short, it is a good hotel. If there is a discount price, you can come.
AAustinVery good services. Help us to clear the snow on our car at car park before we check out. Family mart just at the hotel lobby was very convenient. Will be our first choice if have late flight or early flight
KK_PanaEverything in this hotel was OK. Unfortunately, a traveler with (small) tattoos, like me, was not recommended to use an onsen in the airport area. This might be a traditional limitation. The hotel location is friendly for travelers where they can walk not so fr away from restaurants or (tax free) souvenirs.
SSunny Yat LongWonderful onsen hotel.
Superb lake view and onsen. Can watch the sunrise in the onsen in the morning. There are also Sakura trees around. Our timing was a bit too early for it to fully bloom so it’s a pity.
Hotel employees are very friendly and helpful, with good English. Dinner is very nice. Breakfast is not bad.
Note that there is no private shower/bath in the room.
But there’s the onsen and bookable private onsen.
There is a natural onsen but due to the season the water level was low.
Most other guests are Japanese so the overall feeling is a very nice hidden gem. No noisy or touristy feeling. It’s 10 drive away from the tourist centre so it’s a tranquil place.
My 60 year old parents are also very satisfied with their first onsen hotel experience.
Highly recommend. Will definitely visit again.
TT.PanotWe really love to recommend this hotel if you need a place to stay the night before your flight from Chitose. It is convenient to get to the hotel as it is close to Chitose Station. The hotel shuttle bus service to the airport is very convenient. With so much luggage, it is much better than taking the train. The room is compact as usual, but it is clean and nice. The staff can communicate well in English. They were very kind to let us leave some of our luggage at the hotel for four days before our check-in date. The breakfast is also very good. There are two kinds of breakfast they offer: an international breakfast and a traditional Japanese one. We had both, but I think the traditional Japanese one is nicer. The restaurant is decorated in Japanese style and is served by many grandmas. It made us feel like we were eating a meal made by Mom. Unfortunately, we had very little time in the morning, so we could not enjoy our time in the restaurant enough. There is also a public bath on the 2nd floor, but we did not have a chance to use it.
YYoudemingclean room, superb service, hotel about 400meters away from Chitose Station(10mins walk). 10mins by taxi away from New Chitose Airport. 7-11 right across the street.
AAnonymous UserChecking in was cumbersome as it required video conferencing, lacking the human touch. The room was well-equipped but too tight for four people, with no separation between the kitchen and hall. However, it was clean, and the large screen smart TV was a bonus. The hotel is a long walk from the train station with no nearby shops or restaurants. Security is a concern as there were no staff or passersby around. However, for those seeking an escape from city life, it could be a suitable choice.
