The breakfast was good, the fried chicken was very delicious, the curry with nasi lemak was great, but there were not many kinds of vegetables and fruits. The parking lot is free, but there are not many cars, the service is very good, check in and check out have parking handles to help carry your luggage and then take you from the room to your parking location. Without TV, the telephone signal and network signal are not very good. The forest is here to cut off from the world.

This must be the most pleasant hotel quarantine i have done so far. I have a room with a balcony that overlooks the sea on one side and the hills on the other. Last night i watched the sun set, and this morning i did my exercises in thesea breeze, and could see the birds flying around in the trees. A special thank you to the hotel reservation team - Hasrol has been so helpful. He made sure i got the rooms i requested (we are a family group, so wanted adjoining rooms as well), kept us updated as the quarantine procedures kept changing, and made sure we had the documents we needed for smooth clearance through the airport on arrival. What a difference it makes to have professional and caring staff, especially when attempting travel during the Covid pandemic.

I recently stayed at Angsana Teluk Bahang, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The service was outstanding—every staff member was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, which made our vacation even more special.
The hotel is perfect for families, offering excellent facilities for kids that kept them entertained and happy. The beach is just beautiful, providing a relaxing atmosphere with crystal-clear waters.
Breakfast was fantastic, offering a wide variety of options that catered to every taste. We looked forward to it every morning!
All in all, Angsana Teluk Bahang exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be returning for another stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a wonderful getaway!
Wejdan Inn Balik Pulau Penang provides flawless service and all the necessary facilities for visitors. Stay connected with your associates, as complimentary Wi-Fi is available during your entire visit. When arriving by car, you'll be grateful for the on-site complimentary parking at hotel. The hotel also features a fireplace, providing a cozy ambience during cool evenings. To ensure the well-being and convenience of all visitors, smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the entire hotel.
It is very difficult to find. Generally, the hotel will contact you to pick it up after booking. Otherwise, you will find it for a long time. There is no signal on the mountain, and the hotel Wi-Fi is sufficient.
The environment is okay. It was really gloomy at night. The wooden door of the toilet suddenly opened several times in the middle of the night. It really scared me so much that I couldn't sleep well all night. In fact, it should be caused by the loose wood. Very friendly. One thing to say, hygiene needs to be strengthened very much.
Stayed for a night at Olive tree for a rest before our flight the next day. Room was clean and neat. So many eateries around, so it was nice to try out foods at Bayan Lepas. Airport is around 10mins away, which was the reason we decided to book for the room. Reception was kind to allow an early check in at 12pm. Highly recommended
This was our 1st time at Amari Spice but from the on set was a bad experience. Driving into the hotel I could not drive to the lobby entrance to drop my family & luggage as it was blocked for some reason best known to Amari. Security at the entrance was of no help & I ended up blocking the way of a car at the back. What was supposed to be destress trip, started off on bad note. Anyway cursing Amari Spice for being worst than a 1 star hotel, I reversed back into the lobby entrance. Told this bad experience while checking in to the front office staff but they were not bothered Going to the room found the mattress to be too soft sinking when you lay down & the air cond temp tops up at 26.5 degress, not everyone likes the room super cold. These 2 shortcomings are something that you wld not find in a 4 or 5 star hotels but looks like Amari is still figuring out where they stand. Even many 3 star hotels are better. Moving to the shower both rain & hand shower water flow was dispointing at best with temperature regulation being a challenge. Since my home is at Bukit Jambu & the main reason of chosing Amari was to destress, which was not possible with the said room conditions, I had to leave my family both nights to head home to rest. The matteress, shower & air cond at home the best. Wondering how Amari claims to be home away from home. On a good note the staff were courteous & friendly. Inclosing would I stay at Amari Spice again. NO.
I call this a high end prison cell maybe suitable for you know who ex-PM. I'm pretty used to hostel environment and budget hotel but this takes the cake. Be warned, for the price you pay, you would be better off in some other hotel at Georgetown itself that is much cheaper and offer better service and facility. I won't even want to stay 1 day in here. And just take a Grab or a half hour bus ride on Bus Service 403E to this location if you really need to be here. The picture from the other reviews pretty much sums it up. 4 blank walls, a bed without head rest a small writing desk with a plastic chair. And a tv with local channels only on the wall but like most Penang hotel that I encountered, the reception only seems to start working well in the evening. Daytime image is grainy. Water heater is always on -normal. Only soap supplied was in a bottle that looked like it was from a dish washing detergent bottle dispenser. Reception Desk is sometimes not available and room guest has their key card to tap to enter the hotel. Hence you need to make an appointment if you are coming at odd hours else there is no way in. I guess anyone staying here is just to attend some exhibition at Spice Arena. I made a wrong choice by changing my hotel stay to here thinking I could store my luggage while I toured the exhibition on the last day. I needed to leave at 4.30pm to head to the airport but told that they couldn't commit that anyone being around to to open the door for me to take out my luggage as check out time was 12pm sharp. No late checkout is allowed. Checked in was only 2 -3 pm only as counterstaff wanted to go home early that day. I reached around 11am and had to leave luggage there and come back again at 2.30pm. I'm fine with the staff having to leave early due to an prior appointment but you could then be flexible and allow me to check in at 11am. Hence my trip at the exhibition at Spice Arena was interrupted by running back to check in and then heading back to the exhibition after that. Counter staff was not really friendly. I was doing more of the greetings then her. Since this felt like a prison cell, her role probably was a prison warden. Only plus point was the water cooler(hot water available) in the reception but couldn't get a hot drink as no cup was available there. Only plus point- In the evening if you bother to walk opposite Spice Arena, there is a food centre called PISA Centre which offer good and reasonable food. Sadly in the morning, it is closed and finding a reasonable breakfast is out. Nearest housing area choices were not that great! No mall nearby too. Hence if you have to stay here, remember to BYO things especially a cup.

GGuest UserThis accommodation is located right in front of Nasi Kandar Penang Kayu which opens 24 hours. Queensbay mall is nearby and only takes around 15 mins to the airport (subject to traffic) so as we only stayed 1 night to catch an early flight, it was convenient - location wise. No wifi provided though. Really have table tennis/ping pong table, dart games and movie (we didnt watch any) as seen on the pictures. The building is a bit outdated though. The tenant contacted us directly via Whatsapp and the explanation about the facility was very very clear and helpful.
Aarif ismailllGood for transit, near PEN airport, grab cost rm8-12 1 way
Very warm reception staff

Nasi lemak stall in front hotel for early breakfast

GGagan POverall it is very good and i will recomended to my friends and relatives too. I like most is morning break fast and other complementary facilities. Same time behavior of staff and other house keeping staff too. The reception area is execelnt and wifi also as per rquirement.
AAnnetteMay2019HIGHLY recommended hotel for cleanliness, location and value for money. The bed and pillows are so comfortable! The best part of the hotel is their staff. Look for Mr Zaid. He is a gracious and wonderful host! I arrived to have a look at the rooms a week before check in and Mr Zaid graciously showed us a few rooms. On the day of check in, my friend’s credit card was declined but Mr Zaid allowed us to check in anyway and said we could pay later. Unbelievable!! He even offered us free parking throughout our stay! Always smiling and really just a pleasant person to meet! When we came back after dinner, we realized the room didn’t have bedroom slippers. I went to front desk to ask and the gentleman there apologized because they have ran out of supplies. However, he didn’t stop there. Instead, he went to look for unoccupied room by room to see if there were any extras. Really above and beyond expectations of a 3-Star hotel. For RM100+ per night, you’ll get a tastefully decorated hotel room with full hotel amenities like TV, toothbrushes, bottled water, coffee, hair dryer. Hot and cold water dispenser, iron and ironing board are available in the common area. At Eureka, you will get the warmth of a homestay and the feel of a hotel. I would totally recommend this hotel to all my friends! Thank you Mr Zaid and team!
GGuest UserNo television in the room. Bathroom/ toilet quite small. There's a gap on the bathroom door (u can see thru the gap). During day time, there's noise coming from construction site nearby. It's near to the airport, but our visited places mostly very far from the hotel (example: batu feringghi, batu maung, komtar etc.)

Ssmartvirus87What I like: 1. Bed - so comfortable. The mattress is not hard, even expensive hotel doesn't have this kind of comfort 2. Location - 2 minutes walking distance to Queensbay. There are lots of cafe downstairs. 3. Price - not too expensive What I hate: 1. Soundproofing - I read other reviews said the soundproofing is bad but I don't believe it. I don't think it's too bad. But actually it is really bad. You can hear people talking, like they're in your room! So don't have hardcore sex with ur partner haha 2. I don't get the same setup like in the pictures. I get the bathroom besides the bed, totally different with pictures 3. Can't sleep even the bed is so good Note to others : 1. I don't get any toiletries 2. Parking will be fulled except at night and you need to pay parking fee. 50sen per 30 minutes
MMangomarmThe cost to benefit ratio is fantastic. Large room... we got the king bed. Location is 5 minute walk to the national park and across the street is the bus stop to Batu Ferringhi and Georgetown every 15 minutes. Morning market we could have breakfast for both of us for under $2 USD. This is definitely not 5 star but for what you get and what you pay is definitely more than worth it. For the negative reviews people need to understand that this is a great BUDGET hotel with a good air con. The wifi was a little bit of spotty. We paid 3X the amount for a highly rated accommodation in Georgetown and we actually preferred this more. Once you get to know the owner he is a very kind and caring man too.
