The hotel should be renovated or redone, I don't know, but it looks very new. Stick a little small sign, it's hard to follow the map. Drive past, Nong drive 2 rounds ... receptionist And the security guard takes good care of the service, cute. There is free cold drinking water below. (This one is impressed ^^) But unfortunately about the sound, I feel that the walls of the school room are very thin. At night, I can hear both the sound of the car and the sound of the We have to talk next to each other all night, can't sleep well. In the morning, the lights are out and the elevator has a problem. The elevator hit loudly until you have to wake up from 6 o'clock in the morning.

This is our 5th stop here, and no complaints from us. I note a review here from a lady from Seattle who's used to staying at Hilton's or Hyatt's or the Shangri-la. I too stay at those hotels on occasion and can certainly recommend the Shangri-la in Bangkok, but the Rimnatee isnt a 5* hotel, it's a budget hotel, and it needn't and shouldn't be judged by those standards. The Rimnatee is a charming and we'll designed hotel with parking alongside the spacious bungalow rooms. While it isn't far from a main road it is quiet and yes, you do require transportation to get into Trang, or to the restaurants. The rooms are a good size, clean and tidy. And the towels clean and well laundered. There is indeed a towel each, but if you need more you can ask. If you are staying more than a day then the towels are replaced each day. Our last stay was 4 days and this I recall.vAs for ants, we haven't come across any, but they are here. And if I do find them I don't blame the staff. They are ubiquitous. I recommend anyone, and certainly anyone with children to stay here. You won't regret it The staff are lovely, and helpful. I don't speak Thai. But I try, and they'll speak English easily. As for breakfast. I've had better, but it's sufficient: cereals, eggs and chicken sausages etc. Toast and fruit, coffee and tea. The swimming pool is great. There aren't too many budget hotels with pools so put that down as a plus We'll be back.

Very good service, but the location is a bit cramped. But the service is like family. Especially, there is little parking, but they let you park in the house instead. Impressive.
The hotel is in the center of the city, the condition is very old but well maintained. You can walk to the train market right away. If it is Saturday and Sunday There will be a night market with a lot of food. Parking can be parked under the building for about 6 cars, the rest have to find a place to park on the side of the road, affordable price 450 baht / night next to it. The hotel has a washing shop 7-11 and several restaurants.
Very nice and cosy hotel. Nicely decorated with lots of wood and plants. You are in Trang town but feel like you are in the middle of nature, great. Very good room and large room, great bed and friendly staff. Spa, pool and restaurant.

It is a hotel that may look a bit old outside. But inside the room is very comfortable, on the cover, spacious, clean, quiet, suitable for sleeping and relaxing. The double bed is comfortable. Two air conditioners are very cool. There is a bathtub soaking in the water. Plus, a halal breakfast is a set to choose from. Fried rice is very delicious. Booked at a price that is more than worth it. I have a chance to choose to stay here again for sure.
We have stayed at this place many times and everything has been great. But the last time, the daytime administrator probably presented himself as a boss, and ordered that cleaning room is only until 12:00 noon (have you meet such bull sh*t in other hotels?), and at what time we should to change the room. Dude, learn to communicate with clients correctly first! And by the way, the cleanliness in the rooms is mediocre, it could be cleaner (a lot of not our hairs on the floor). I saw large cockroaches twice. The door to the bathroom doesn’t open completely, and this is rare stupidity! Bad Wi-Fi. It's hot in the elevator. I would advise the hotel administration to respect and be especially attentive to guests who stay with you more than once. Improve their conditions, not worsen them.

Excellent
GGuest UserThis hotel is located in a quiet street and offers a range of quality hotel services. The rooms are clean, spacious and light. The bed is comfortable and large. Furthermore, there is a parking for those who come by car. The hotel is respectful and provides the information needed for those who want to discover Trang.
WWongYLWe enjoy stay in this hotel with balcony and big corner room. This is good stop hotel before we go to Krabi. Good gardening for relax in morning or evening.
GGuest UserMy favorite hotel in Trang. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Speaks very good English. Lobby and Rooms were perfectly clean. Beautiful lobby to relax and enjoy the quiet atmosphere. Bed was very comfortable. Shower Water was VERY clean. Best of the 8 hotels I stayed at in Trang. Perfect for wash hair and shower. Excellent location... close to the best coffee shops and restaurants. Only 5-minute drive to Robinsons mall. We will always stay here during our monthly trips to Trang.
KkptgGF stayed here about a month prior for work and thought very nice. We stopped on way back after work week and an unfortunate death in her family. The rooms are very clean and bed was comfortable. However, the air conditioning didn't work properly. We bought food to have on arrival and just wanted to heat. Something we've done almost every hotel along this 10 day trip. The man at counter was not helpful at all. Pretended to not know anything about the hotel or the immediate area. Is what it is. Next time will try a different one as in this category there are many options.
GGuest UserVery nice hotel with modern and clean facilities. most important was the great service and hospitality, especially K Phojanaluck at the reception.. she seems to be there all the time, ever ready to help with advice, speaks good English, always with a smile. She is a great ambassador for the hotel. It was low season, so understand that the breakfast spread was reduced, but the quality of the food and service was certainly not compromised. Location was very good... 5 min walk to the nearest mall with wide selection of food. Tallest building in the area... So great view to wake up to. Highly recommended!
Aamk2fGreat hotel right on the main road. Room was quite spacious. Liked the beginning of the 20th century industrial design features. Very comfortable bed. Bathroom is very big, but requires a bit of renovation. Nice balcony with garden view. The breakfast pretty good. Nice staff at the reception. Big parking lot. Nice restaurant is within walking distance from the hotel. All in all pleasant experience and good value for money.
AAutumnz1994The hotel is beautiful, comfortable, has a shared balcony, is close to food sources, the road in front of the hotel is wide, and there is a lot of parking.
RRatchapol BThe accommodation is clean, the receptionist is very cute, take good care, especially the owner. Send it to the room by yourself The room is very spacious, has all the items that are important, there is a hair dryer as well, considered very good, the air conditioner is cool, the water flows strong, very satisfying. The bed was soft and slept well. Overall, pass and recommend staying here. (The car park is lost. So much that you can't choose to park)
Trang is a sleepy rural town in southern Thailand that doesn’t have a huge amount to commend it; true, it is the home of the first ever rubber tree to enter Thailand, is well-known for its dim sum and particular style of a very tasty crispy pork - but It also possesses a one-way system which would baffle a London taxi driver and, once finally negotiated, bizarrely displays a sign stating ‘Trang Bypass Route this way’…. Having said that, it is certainly an excellent place for an overnight stop when motoring to or from Malaysia, and - having done it a few times now – I can certainly recommend the Ban Ao Thang hotel. Right in the centre of town adjacent to the railway station, it has masses of free parking outside and gives easy access to the local markets – and KFC! The rooms are basic rural Thai; somewhat depressing in decor but extremely clean and comfortable. What makes this hotel, however, is the bar life and restaurant. Situated on the veranda, the staff can mix an incredible array of cocktails, provide extremely well cooked food from a surprisingly large menu and – if that was not enough – entertain you with a one man band! The staff are of course extremely polite and obliging – as is generally the case in Thailand – and it is worth having a look at the contents of the hotels wine collection, another area of interest in this remarkable little hotel. Go - you won’t be disappointed.
GGuest UserSpacious room and bed, modern and minimalist design, delicious breakfast (they bring it to your room at the time you request), nice hot and cold shower water pressure, great location (there are many tour agents and halal food nearby), the night market on weekends is right at your door, Friendly and helpful staff, decent spoken English staff, good WiFi connection, most importantly very reasonable price - cleanliness can be improved (stains on bedspreads and towels), no elevator, no electronic door locks, no shampoo, no water boiler, Overall, I had a great stay and may stay at Chom trang again in the future
