Find the Cheap North Little Rock Hotels

We’re diamond members with Hilton. We’ve stayed at several of their properties. This is may be the very first time or the first time in a while that we’ve stayed at Home2 Suites. I was definitely impressed with this hotel. First off, the staff was friendly and helpful. I also want to express that I feel like I got more bang for my buck here. I paid about the same as I would for most other Hilton properties, but got a bigger room and I felt like it had better amenities. I have no complaints at all about this hotel. We would definitely stay here again

I've stayed at the Wyndham Riverfront in Little Rock on previous trips to the city. On the whole it is a good buy. The rooms are clean and well kept, there is a dependable airport shuttle, and downtown is a two minute drive across the Arkansas River. The hotel breakfast is excellent, much better than most reasonably priced hotels offer. There are two good restaurants at the hotel, BUT the excellent steakhouse is only openThursday through Sunday and the Benehana, a sushi and hibachi place is likely to be fully booked if a reservation hasn't been made in advance. Fortunately, there is a whole district with good places to eat a five minute walk from the front door. My one serious complaint is that the hotel offers a day before online checkin option that promises ”just pick up your key and proceed to your room” that failed miserably. the airport shuttle dropped us off with a half dozen or so other guests who had not checked in online who immediately tied up the single staff member. Even though those guests did have reservations, the process of registering them seemed exceptionally slow. When I was finally able to ask for my room key, All I had to do was show my ID, have my credit card scanned, and learn how to find my room (this is a HUGE hotel, my cousin described her room as ”in the next county”). The promise of ”just pick up your key” can't work without a second staff member whose primary responsibility is to handle already checked in guests. The shuttle is an asset, BUT it inevitably creates multiple guests arriving together. Only one person handling the desk is predictably inadequate.

This Courtyard is located right off of the highway and has many restaurants around it. It was very clean and mostly quiet. They do have a Bistro in the hotel and a bar, should you need food and a drink. Pet friendly (and affordable pet fees!!!). The bed was very comfy. The gal who was working that night at the front desk wasn't the friendliest. I realize that it's difficult to find great employees these days, but she was the first/only person we interacted with that worked at the hotel and it wasn't pleasant. Maybe she was having an off day?! Overall the stay was fine.

Beds were small and VERY HARD, did not sleep well at all. Hotel overall was clean and quiet. Check in staff was adequate, but seemed bothered that we were interrupting their day by checking in, check out staff was kind and friendly. Loretta (the woman taking care of breakfast) was AMAZING. I was grumpy after a crummy nights sleep on their hard mattresses and she managed to turn my attitude around. She was helpful, pleasant, cheerful, and accommodating. If all the hotel staff were like Loretta, I could have forgotten the crummy beds!

The hotel is right by Interstate 40 so it makes traveling around pretty easy. There appears to be a lot of homeless individuals in the neighborhood and the parking spaces near the front door of the building was always filled so we had to park to the side which had me nervous that someone was going to either steal our catalytic converter (there’s been a lot of that happening I heard) or be robbed but the side parking lot was well lit but a distance from the door so if something happened the only way you could get into the building was through the front door which was about 10-11 feet away. The elevator kept being weird, when we made it to our floor it took it a bit to open and it did stutter or shake a little bit. The rooms were very clean and looked very good as pictured! I love the bathroom mirror it’s gorgeous though I wish the bathroom had a little bit more counter space. Also for some reason our air conditioner didn’t work (thank goodness our stay was during a cooler weekend) we tried to work the thermostat but it never cut on which was very annoying.The front desk staff were okay, nothing to write home about though. Honestly I say book this hotel if you’re staying a night or two and just need somewhere to lay your meat suit to recharge. If you have young kids then maybe choose somewhere else because the parking lot always smelled like the “devil’s lettuce” when we went out and there was broken liquor bottles in the parking lot. I would recommend this place for a quick getaway trip.
