"Overall very good. The room is hygienic, quiet and tidy. Because it is a homestay type, there is a black sister butler, but there are gardeners and cleaning people, so don't worry about hygiene. The food is not bad and safe."
"It was amazing, and relaxing that what my mom reviews from staying in this place.. Thank you Amanzi Lodge although I am a little bit sad for not able to book the massage for my in-laws it seems like something wrong with the telephone number but anyway they enjoyed thats more important😊"

Very Good
SsanverNo breakfast, more troublesome, if you eat, you need to walk for about 10 minutes, there are burger and pizza shops to choose from. Harare accommodation is not low, this price is relatively low, behind is a park.
FForssThis hotel is one of the best option to stay in Harare. It’s new, modern and very clean. The size of the room is unexpectedly large. The service is perfect. Right next to the hotel there is a cafe where you can have a good breakfast and some bakery. I’d definitely recommend this place for international tourists!
IIsaacBooked this guest house based on the reviews that I had read. It is a very basic guest house and in my view, will require some improvements to meet some minimum international standards.
The positive is that the WiFi worked very well and hence once on site could stay in touch with family and friends. Also the staff were very friendly and appearedto work with what they had at their disposal.
Areas of improvements:
1. Not sure if the guest house had master keys to the rooms. Our room was never cleaned for the period that we were there. Not sure if because we went out with the key or we had to request for the room to be clean.
2. We were not given towels and it was good we have carried some towels with us. It will be extremely good to provide towels and should be already present in the room when the guest arrives.
3. The bathroom had no mirror so when I needed to shave, I had to come back to the bedroom to use the mirror.
4. It appeared the whole guest house has only one kettle and hence if you needed what water, you needed to request for the kettle. Worst still the bedroom did not have the socket for the kettle's plug and hence had to go back to the reception to heat the water.
5. Although the guest house is advertised as having a kitchen, this was in an outhouse and you have to leave the main guest house to use the kitchen. Worst is that the kitchen was not ready when we arrived and it is not well kitted, and in my opinion should not be advertised as a guest house with a kitchen.
6. Finally, the guest house did not have a stanby generator and on one of the nights, the lights went off from @2am local timm till mid morning.
GGuest UserThe rooms were clean, surrounding areas also clean, desk service was good,
However I got food poisoning from the pies on the downstairs food counter. I mentioned it but no one seemed to be concerned.
TThe traveler01This is a nice place to be…the staff is ever so friendly…No issues with wifi and the place is surrounded by restaurants making it convenient to get something to eat… you can try it out…
AAnnahThe stay and service was good but cleanliness was everage. The was a stained cushion on the bed which I removed and l put it the wardrobe, the domestic said that she was going to remove it. . The bed wasn't very comfortable because l had a busy schedule during my stay l was away most of the days. I did mention this to the staff at the reception and there was not any rooms available when l extended my stay.
The location was good right in the centre of the town.
JJokomoThe service was extremely terrible and slow starting from the reception to the restaurant, the beverages took forever to come through, the main meal wasn’t all that great. Extremely Disappointing especially for the price and being the most expensive hotel in Harare.
AAleciaI’m glad I was able to look at the room before officially booking here, as I made a mistake and booked at another hotel and the pictures were nothing like that actual thing. I had a nice kind size bed, refrigerator, complimentary water, cable tv with Netflix and HBO options. There was an outside pool I’m terribly upset I didn’t get to utilize. Because I hadn’t made other plans, I was able to extend my stay for an additional night with no problems. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I’m glad I stayed here; will stay here again my next visit to Zimbabwe.
