Stayed two nights in a one bedroom apar**ent in November. Pros: Nice big unit with air conditioning stand alone wall unit located in the interior of the apar**ent; large patio with furniture; soft bed with firm and soft pillows; clean (although there were 2-3 larger bugs that got in but given the jungle around the area, totally understandable); hot pot, tea, coffee and hot chocolate in room; small washer and dryer in room; free parking for one car Cons: Uncomfortable couch; strange 3/4 refrigerator (if you’re tall, it can be annoying to have to bend down constantly to access); had to pay for in room movies ($3/each); lots of kids in the pool and hot tub (this is a pro if you have kids :); shower has no door and glass is only one meter long so water was all over the bathroom floor every morning Tips: Skip renting the bikes for $10/each - the pathways are much too steep for bikes but great for walking - stunning views! If you want a stretch of the legs, you can rent golf clubs for $5 then play the 9 hole executive course for $18 (tees $2.50 and five golf balls for $10). It’s not a great course but it’s playable and a bit challenging in spots. Takes about 1 1/2 hours to complete.
