Although it was a super windy day in summer, we still turned on the heater, which was very useful. The kitchen was well equipped (there are no supermarkets nearby, so you need to purchase in advance). The restaurant's breakfast and dinner are limited and require reservations. After all, there are limited staff there, and we didn't try it because we didn't have time. You can go to the restaurant to buy coffee, which tastes okay. The restaurant is in a great location with a view of Cradle Mountain. The front desk lady is very friendly, pay attention to the check-in time."

"Environment: A very nice cottage, right near the Cradle Mountain Visitor Center. Apart from peppers, this one is the closest, and the price-performance ratio is really high. Each room is a small house with its own separate entrance and parking space. Most of the time, you can't see other people and the privacy is very good. We also saw wombats and black magpies (?) around that day. Hygiene: The hygiene is also very good. The room with a bathtub booked fully relieved the fatigue after the day's hike. There are plenty of bath towels and various toiletries. (It is worth noting that Australia generally does not actively provide toothbrushes and toothpaste. You may need to bring your own or ask the front desk) Facilities: I have always liked the design of the fireplace, and the fireplace in the cottage is indeed very warm. However, the wood species here are not as resistant to burning as some of the ones I have lived in before. They can only burn for about 2-3 hours. Some wood may be a little damp and cannot be fully burned, so you can consider using an electric blanket directly when sleeping at night. There are cooking facilities and oil and salt, but for convenience, we still chose instant noodles. It's up to you to choose. In addition, the network in the mountains here is not very good, but I heard that the boss has plans to install star link and signal amplifiers later, which should be improved. "The location is right in the park. There is a relatively close station where you can take the bus 🚌 for sightseeing. The hotel can buy tickets for you. There are many activities every day that can be booked in advance. We experienced the activity of watching animals at night. If you don’t see anything during the day, you will have a chance at night. It is also a good experience. I highly recommend the hotel’s restaurant. It is the expensive one. It is super delicious 😋 The best lamb I have ever eaten is here. Breakfast is also here. The scenery is not bad. The business is very good. It is a bit tiring to stay for one day. If you have time, I recommend staying for two more days. You can also fish here. There are opportunities to see wild animals around the hotel in the morning and at night. The cabin has a warm house and it is very warm. I recommend this hotel with five stars"

"We managed to do early check-in before official time. However, we realised the cottage was not clean at all as rubbish wasn't cleared, floors not vacuumed & towels left hanging around, likely by previous guests. So we had to return to reception to feedback & they immediately got housekeeping to do the job. Reception staff could do better with more smiles though. Cottage was quite roomy for 2 pax, but could be a bit tight if 4 pax were to stay together. Pretty basic accommodation but it was strategically located near Cradle Mountain visitor centre. Overall, a unique experience to stay in a mountain cottage like this, just that free WiFi was only available at reception & not in the cottage itself."
