"Located on a beautiful river, the scenery is still very good. The bed at the hotel was very comfortable and very nice. There is a parking lot, next to the high speed, it is very easy to find by navigation."

"Embassy Suites by Hilton adjacent to the Portland Maine Jetport provide comfort and convenience. Suite rooms (with two Queen beds) are comfortable but the a/c is quirky and can be hard to set and is noisy. (we turned the bedroom a/c on before going to sleep just leave the a/c in the living room on to cool down, and problem solved.
The breakfast bar was the bomb! I loved the omelet Joe made was excellent, fast, efficient, and delicious."

Very Good
GGuest UserThe Press Hotel is a very nice hotel; clean, modern, upscale. But I found the valuer for the money was lacking. The food in their restaurant, Union, was above average but the prices were too high for what you got. Breakfast for two (one order of oatmeal and one order of a smoked salmon bagel with cream cheese) came to $44, and with a 20% tip thrown in the meal cost $53. For breakfast! My dinner the night before was similar; very tasty food, but not worth the $125 price for two people. If you don't mind spending lots of $$, it's a great hotel with excellent service and nice rooms.

GGuest UserVery clean, accommodating staff. If I could suggest anything, it would be that they would explain when asked about being pet friendly that they don’t allow pets to stay in the room while you’re not there and charge a $250 fine if you leave the room. We were confused because in other hotels that we stayed, we were allowed to leave the dogs. This makes it rather difficult when you arrive at the location and you’re an hour and a half away from your house that you have to now find a dog sitter or a dog daycare while you go out of your hotel room to me it defeats the purpose because I know I would’ve left them with the dog sitter at home either that or they clarify their stance on such issues like “do you have a dog here well as long as he stays quiet, it’s OK“ something to that effect.
KKatherineThe hotel staff were extremely nice at check in and out. They also tried to be accommodating when we asked for pen an paper. However the stay was supposed to include pool access, which it did not. As well as continental breakfast, which was simply a jar of cereal, frozen sausage or eggs an a few bagels. There was only bananas for fruit an not many, first come first serve it seemed. They also had a very outdated waffle batter machine that would probably be very health questionable.. Our room was comfy, however the dirty qtip we saw next to the couch as soon as we walked in and the giant cobwebs in the corner were a little off putting.. After being in the area we probably wouldn't be back unless it was the last option..
RRhoda CWow, they told us that we were the guests of the day. We celebrated my son's birthday and the added freebies (free breakfast, birthday card, late checkout and candies surprise) are indeed very much appreciated! Thank you so much Westin Team for the effort! Of course, this is a Westin brand so everything is perfect!
JJim Bishop The desk person was great, the room very clean and odor free. Surprised how quiet it was being so close to major highways. Much of
the hotel runs away from the road toward a wooded area. It`s not a 5 star and shows normal wear and tear for it`s age, a little floor squeaking from above, etc. One would have to be a snob to find anything to complain about. Excellent value for the area and the times.
JJoan YZ LeeIt’s great- the room is clean, shower is functional, basic amenities are there. Some lounge neighbors but that’s unavoidable. Most importantly the bed is comfy, staff has been very nice and helpful. I’d go back there in the future!
GGuest UserThe room we got even though was visibly clean, there was lot of dust especially from the air conditioner vents. Pillow covers and bedsheets seemed to be not washed for long or dusty. Overall room missed a comfortable feel. They also could have put some room fresheners. Breakfast was very basic or minimal. I did not use any other amenities like pool or gym so not sure of that.
