Hotel Jardin Savana Dakar

The hotel is surrounded by the sea on three sides, and it is very good for vacation and leisure. You can see the sun rising on the Atlantic Ocean... There are a lot of eagles here. Whether hovering, swooping or perching, eagles will make you remember them with a special call. The service is very good, the breakfast provided by the hotel is very good, the pool is also very good, the service is great

I had a problem with my visa when arriving at the airport so I was not able to left the customs/airport and I informed the hotel, and they refused to help me to cancel the reservation which was just for 1 night due to connecting flights. Then no support for the customers so will not consider this hotel for other occassiobs
International Hotel Dakar

For the price, I expected average. This hotel is amazing. Gym, restaurant, cityscape view, and 5-star service. It’ in the center of the city so easy access to everything. Highly recommend if you’ll be doing lots of touring. Would definitely stay here again.
Yaas Hotel Dakar Almadies

Great location, very clean and professional. Employees are also super friendly. I would suggest to the managers to developp a ”culture” of tips (ei; puting an envelopp in the rooms so clients can show their appréciation of the cleaning, add the option for tips in the interac machines used at the restaurant on the fort floor, etc.) so the employees get increased working conditions.
Le Ndiambour Hôtel et Résidence

Spent two weeks in October/November 2022 with a large training group. Hotel is perfect for business meetings. Food is great, rooms spacious, air con works, back up generator, nice swimming pool. Beds lasher and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially for us Anglophile’s. They were bilingual and sorted out any issue. In particular Oumy of conference services and Oureye at front desk
King Fahd Palace

This place is truly awful. I travel Africa for a living so I have experienced many lovely hotels across the continent. This is not one of them. The place is palatial - I would describe it as ”faded decadence, a relic from the past”. The rooms are perpetually damp and uncomfortable, with A/C that cannot be shut off so I spent much of my time freezing in my room. The WIFI is terrible, works intermittently in rooms and not at all in conference areas. The grounds are far too spread out with the conference facilities a 5-10 minute walk from the main building - making it unwieldy to return to your room midday. The food at the restaurant is barely passable. Worse yet, I put a ”do not disturb” sign on my door permanently for the 5 days and nights I was there as I did not want my room cleaned and didn't want anyone entering without me there. Despite that, on at least two occasions, staff tried or did enter my room (once while I was sleeping, which felt a bit creepy). But the worst of all is that somebody entered my room and stole $200 (leaving another $250 behind with the hopes it would not be detected, I am guessing?). At first, the hotel management ”appeared” to take this seriously. They interviewed me not once but twice in their management offices, taking copious notes and asking about lots of detail with lots of pomp and decorum. They said they had cameras and card readers that could identify who the culprit was and promised to take rapid action and get back to me soon. You know how this story ends - I never heard back from them, despite assurances that they would email me the next Monday upon my return to the US. It struck me that they wanted to put up a pretense of ”looking into it”, but the minute they realized I would not make a public fuss about the incident, they fell into inaction. So in conclusion, I would say the hotel is not very safe and management doesn't truly care about security issues. Go somewhere else. Dakar is filled with many wonderful hotels so you won't lack for choice.
