The hotel is in the city center with an excellent location. We live on the 15th floor of the hotel and it looks beautiful from the window But the hygiene situation is worrying, and I saw Xiaoqiang moving on the coffee table😣 The whole person is not well...

My family and I came to Dallas to visit more family and we stayed at the Springhill Suits. During our stay we used valet services and each time we had an encounter with Chris he was AMAZING. Super on top of everything very time considerate! This guy was such a gentleman. Thank you so much for a bright start to our mornings!

Pretty sad to write this review. This room was filthy. Feet turned black. Curtains falling down. Toilet broken. I stay in hotels 15 nights per month and have a high tolerance for dirt, but this room was pathetic. Manager Louis said he would see curtains were repaired. Never repaired. He said they were short staffed. My thought is close off the rooms you can’t manage then. Had to request twice toilet be repaired. Returned that evening to find a note on toilet that said not repairable. Learned parts not available for toilet due to a art vender not being available according to front desk (run over to Home Depot!) Was offered another room but that was not an option for us due to small children and late. They didn’t bother to pick up phone and give us an earlier notice. We would have just gone home. Discussed with Louis, several days later) as no manager with any authority works weekends and he told me I shouldn’t have called the diamond desk to complain as he couldn’t do anything now but give some points. That was false, he refunded one of two nights. I’m preparing my letter to parent company, Texas Western, as they probably don’t see these reviews. This hotel has no business being part of the Hilton brand.

First of all, when it says the rooms have a ”shower/tub combination”, don’t believe them. Don’t believe ANY hotel chain on that: they are taking out the tubs as fast as possible. Cheaper to have a walk-in shower, easier to clean. ***But how do you bathe your small child in a shower?*** They’ve never had a shower and here you are in a strange place and suddenly they have water hitting their face and head and are terrified. But the description SAID there was a TUB, right? What are hotel execs thinking -- that we won’t notice? DON’T TAKE OUT ALL THE TUBS, people. We reserved a room for our family based on that description. I went downstairs before we finished putting down our suitcases, to say ”there must be some mistake, I have a little kid and there’s NO TUB in the bathroom, just a big shower stall. And I reserved a room with a tub.” But there were no other rooms available that have a tub. This trend needs to stop. Either put the tub back in or CHANGE your description. And TripAdvisor, be on notice that you cannot any longer say ”shower/tub combination” as one of the options, because MANY HOTELS NO LONGER OFFER THEM, so split that option into ”Shower only” AND ”Shower/tub combination”, thank you. Don’t do this to families! We take these rooms so we can use the kitchen which makes things easier on us but instead, you make it hard on us in the bathroom, not easier with that huge error. Aside from that, the room was clean. We dropped something behind the sofa/sleeper sofa and had to take it apart to retrieve the item, and it all was clean under there, pretty amazing. All dishes and silverware were in the dishwasher, still hot from steaming and drying, a good thing. Some surfaces are showing wear and tear. The doors in the cabinet under the bathroom sink are missing, and the woodwork is chipped and worn. There are no pens or pads of paper or directories about what’s nearby, in the room. Oh sure, they put some information on the TV but no pens? At a Marriott? So I asked for a few at the front desk and the person gave me ONE, saying ”COVID”. Sure, blame COVID for everything! The morning breakfast is good: scrambled eggs, bacon (not every day), sausage (most days), bread/muffins/bagels for toasting, grits, fresh fruit, yogurt, juices (not the best but they’ll do), cucumber water (nice!), waffles you make yourself. Not from Whole Foods but hey, pretty good. For a couple of days, there was no butter, oddly enough. And the person maintaining the kitchen and food-serving area for several days was not wearing a mask. But COVID! Come on, staff, either all wear a mask or all don’t wear them. One of the managers never wore one, but three others did. Signs everywhere about wearing a mask, too. And hardly any guests wore them in the common areas, either, including the elevators. Then again, this is Texas. I think the bed is too high. But the room was quiet, and faced west so we saw a few spectacular sunsets. The grounds outside need attention: y
