While between homes in March 2021, I stayed in one of the recently created extended stay suites for two weeks and it was a great experience! The staff were all very friendly and helpful (I needed a large area to work from so they immediately brought me an extra table), the suite was very clean and nicely decorated with paintings from local artists, and there was plenty of room for all the extra bags and suitcases I brought. The suite consisted of a large bedroom with a full bath, living room with kitchenette (spacious counter with fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, and hot plates), and an additional half bath. Lots of closet space in the bedroom and a closet next to the entrance for coats. The gym and indoor were open and very clean (with a limited number of guests due to Covid-19), the vending machines were well-stocked, the washer & dryer in good working order, and the receptionists were available for some printing and copying I needed. Parking was always available, the wifi worked well, and the two televisions seemed brand-new. The hotel's location is another asset: within minutes from downtown, next to the mall, grocery stores, and the Riverfront walking trail. I definitely recommend you check it out for your next stay in the Greater Moncton Area!

Our 4 year old loves hotels and we’ve stayed at this location several times without any major issue. I normally book a suite but during our last stay we chose a standard room because it’s what was available. At any other hotel suite vs standard only affects the size of the room and the addition of a pullout sofa or kitchenette dependant on where you’re staying- I’ve never had it sacrifice quality quite like this stay and we stay away often, both for pleasure and business. My son is autistic and cannot tolerate black screens, he doesn’t need to watch tv but it needs to be on so upon checking in the first thing we do is get the tv turned on- it doesn’t work. There is a circle on the screen that turns and turns and turns non stop. Meanwhile, our background sound for the room is a dog barking and whining. We mess with it for a while and finally get it going. Surprise! We’re in one of the only rooms in this hotel that does not have a smart tv. No Netflix for my son, and a very limited channel list. Ok, we’ll manage. I head into the washroom to get ready to take him to the pool- one of the main reasons we came. Lovely! A nice ball of somebody else’s hair in the corner. Mildew running up the side of the shower and all over the shower head. I’ll have to clean this up a little before taking a shower later or giving my son a bath. We learn to manage and fix things to the best of our ability because our son does not deal with change well. Having started settling into this first room, we would not have been able to switch rooms or even just leave the hotel altogether without causing chaos for him. So on we go. We get ready and head over to the pool. There are a few others there already. I gesture to my husband that I’ll grab a few towels and put them on our chair so they’re there when we’re ready. Ahh! No towels. With about 6 people already in the pool there isn’t a single one of us who has a towel. Cue the smell of cigarette smoke wafting into the pool area from a nearby door that is propped open with two other hotel guests smoking right outside. Now remember I said my son doesn’t deal well with change? Right. So it’s too late to turn back and NOT have pool time. So again, on we go. The pool area doesn’t look like it’s been cleaned or checked for some time- more clumps of hair, somebody is seriously shedding around here. Head back up to our room, settle in and order supper. More barking and whining. We eat and I head off to give the bathroom a quick scrub before allowing my family to wash up, I don’t want them bathing in mold after all. The rest of our night included more…. You guessed it!!! Barking and whining!! Now I want to point out here that we are far from dog haters, we breed and show French bulldogs after all and I myself have stayed at this very hotel with one of my dogs on a couple of occasions. But I’ve been told I couldn’t leave her alone incase she made noise. Apparently these other folks missed the memo since their dog(s) kept us up
