"The hotel is near the Thorne North station and the M62 motorway. A pub with car park is part of the establishment and provide breakfast, warm meals and drink. Next to the hotel is a retail park with Aldi, KFC and other stores. Thorne itself is 15 min walk.
The rooms are simple but effective and there is no staff on side. Kettle, coffee and tea supplied. Bathroom with bath and shower. Iron in corridor.
I stayed few times as it is convenient for my needs and reasonable priced. 15% discount on meals for guests."

"The train station came out for less than ten minutes, and the front desk service was very good. Breakfast is like this, traditional English breakfast.
The room is not big or small, the sound is not bad. The hotel is located in the middle of the city. The day of the stay is just a boxing match. Many bars downstairs are noisy until two or three o'clock in the evening, and they can't enter the room."

"The hotel is conveniently located just outside the city centre. The staff are most professional and helpful, and keen to make one's stay as comfortable as possible. The building itself, however, is old and badly in need of a complete upgrade to bring it up to modern standards. The room was clean but scruffy wit9h chipped paint,, and fixtures and fittings stuck firmly in the 1970s. The bed was acceptable but the sprung mattress bore witness to its antiquity and should be replaced with a modern foam mattress."
"The regent hotel is a historic family run hotel located near the centre of Dincaster about 10 minutes walk from the train station oposite a small park.
Downstairs the bar and restaurant can be found together with the reception. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
Rooms are over a number of floors, I had single room at the back. The rooms was small but had window, work top, kettle and a queen size bed and a small tv. The room was clean but looks a bit dated which is reflected in the price which is fair and value for money.
Had a good night sleep and will stay again."
"The fabric of the building was a little worn and tired. All staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful. Didn’t eat in so can’t comment on that. Great variety of food available in the Wool Market, 3 minutes walk away."

VVIJAY ANANDService was exemplary. Facilities OK. Breakfast was nothing to complain about. I had full cooperation in special circumstances. Everything above my expectations.
GGuest UserFirst time I have stayed there hotel is beautiful and peaceful surroundings. It was a break for me and my wife as my mum passed 10 days ago and we wanted a break.
Nice big room shame no bath, only problem we were near the staff exit and heard noise till late and very early in the morning. I complained to receptionist and we have a discounted rate next time we stay.
Staff all very helpful and friendly.

No mineral water is provided, no disposable toothbrushes, slippers, toothpaste, the room is very cold and no heating! There is no stairs on the second floor! Because there are more things, it is very tired when moving, and then there is very little toilet paper, basically no new ones!
GGuest UserOverall nice hotel, good sized room, nice and modern. Big comfortable bed. Only faults was there was a load of ladybirds in the bathroom, looks like there was some form of infestation. Only noticed this in the morning and reported it to the front desk when checked out. The bathroom door is also frosted with the window leaking through so was quite bright in the morning, think this might have just been my room though with it being on the end.
It was great location for a wedding I attended at Hooton Pagnall Hall - only 10 mins away so great location for what I needed. Staff were friendly. Would recommend

GGuest UserVery noisy at night. I had to go and purchase some ear plugs for second night due to only having a few hours sleep previous night from the noise.
Plenty of teabags and milk provided but no spoons!
Bedside light had no bulb in so had to have big light on. TV in room had poor signal so every station jumps. Bathroom door needs cleaning and overall room needs some updating
