Convenient and Easy to find location for users of Dover Port or Eurotunnel, being just a few minutes from each.Secure Car Park. Very Quiet and comfortable hotel. Very Friendly and helpful Staff. The Plough Beefeater Next door serves great food.

It was the standard Premier Inn experience and we had no problems. It's not that far away from Dover, but it was much cheaper than the ones on the other side of Dover. It was easy to find and we had no trouble parking. We would happily stay there again if we were in the area.

Rooms were large and comfortable and warm, the TV was a tad glitchy, the WiFi was very slow. The food was great, we had breakfast and an evening meal.check-in was quick, staff were friy.lots of parking on site and secure, short walk to the pub next door for meals.

Good location for Dover/Dover Castle, approx 10 mins to both the town centre & Castle. Rooms were comfortable & clean, beds very comfy. Slight road noise but didn’t bother us. If I was being picky the bathroom could do with some cosmetic repairs (peeling paint in places) Overall a good visit & wed stay again if in the area.

The only good thing here is location, everything else sucks. Ripped off paying over £100 a night (3 nights) for the most uncomfortable bed, zero hotel wifi & zero phone signal so I couldn't use my own paid wifi either. Stayed in room 1 which doesn't disclose on their website no wifi signal in that room, yet the manager at the hotel told me room 1 never has wifi & this is well known! The bed was awful, I had a metal spring permanently digging into my ribs & the bed itself was a small double not standard double, so rolling over was a game of "will they or won't they fall out of bed". I had little sleep over the 3 nights. I complained about the spring in my ribs twice - first I was told the bed had a bed topper so it shouldn't be a problem (it wasn't a topper, it was a thin mattress protector that did nothing to ease my pain), then I was told they'd take a look - they didn't. Only on the very last night after I was prepared to sleep on the floor they put an actual bed topper on & it was a decent sleep with just being careful of falling out of the bed. Wifi signal in room 1 is non existent & I had to work on my laptop but couldn't, as even my own phone signal was only 1 bar so couldn't use my own paid wifi. I'm told room 1 is known to have these issues & they hide it from their website. The shower is terrible, the bath/shower modified for wheelchair users (I'm not but it shouldn't hinder the fully able to use the room), the metal grab bar is placed in a bad vertical position & hits you in the side when you shower. Also the bath tub is lower to the ground but they didn't bother making shower curtains that fit this tub, so use ones that don't actually meet the top of the tub when they're wet - expect water everywhere on the floor. Shower has very VERY low water pressure, expect your usual shower to take at least an hour - took 20mins just for my hair to become completely wet so I could shampoo!!!

We have used this hotel over the years and this time it has let us down. No wifi or phone signal in the rooms x2 even after getting the premium wifi one room backed on to the beef eater a lot of car doors banging. evening meal was a disaster chicken still cold in the middle and drinks served in cracked glasses . breakfast was fine

Stayed here 1 night before the ferry. Good things first, the staff are friendly and it has a good car park. Our room smelt damp, and looked tired and tatty. The sink was blocking and couldn't be cleared . The room was stuffy and hot even with the window open. Carpets, painting and maintenance all showing worn out tiredness. Needs a major refurb as is not up to the usual Premier Inn standard.

Party if 8 staying here on route to france (2 family rooms). Roo..one located next to the reception absolutely stunk of foist and damp. This went into the reception area also..awful smell. The second bedroom (next door) also smelt damp. When getting into bed I noticed a used sanity product on the floor. The children was asleep and we were leaving at 6am so no point in moving rooms at this point.

Sadly unlike previous years the room and corridor were dirty and smelled really foisty. Very poor! and disappointing.
