Tanjung Jara Resort is one of my favorite places to stay, and I’ve checked in multiple times because of its exceptional service and overall experience.
Service & Hospitality – Truly Outstanding
The staff here are incredible—warm, attentive, and always ready to make your stay special. From check-in to check-out, every detail is handled with care, making you feel valued and at home.
Accommodation – Luxury with a Traditional Charm
The rooms are beautifully designed with a mix of traditional Malay architecture and modern comfort. Spacious, clean, and well-maintained, they offer the perfect retreat with stunning views. The open-air bathrooms add a unique and luxurious touch to the experience.
Beach & Scenery – Absolute Tranquility
The resort is set along a pristine, quiet beach with golden sand and clear waters. It’s perfect for relaxing, taking long walks, or simply enjoying the sound of the waves. The natural beauty of the place makes it feel like a true escape from the world.

Tanjung Jara Resort is a place I keep coming back to because it never disappoints. From the service to the beautiful surroundings, everything about it is perfect for a peaceful and luxurious getaway. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserI recently had the pleasure of staying at SG PAKA Hotel during my trip to Paka, Malaysia, and I must say, it was a delightful experience! The service provided by the staff was exceptional - they were attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with any requests. The facilities at the hotel were top-notch; I particularly enjoyed taking a dip in the swimming pool and working out at the well-equipped fitness center. As for the food, it exceeded my expectations! The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options, and I also had the opportunity to try some of the local specialties at the hotel's restaurant, which were absolutely mouthwatering. Overall, my stay at SG PAKA Hotel was fantastic, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area

AAnonymous UserThe service was great. The hotel WhatsApp in advance asking what time I wanted to check in. The location was above Tanjung Jara’s area. It was quite serene & peaceful. It’s a 15 mins drive to the Dungun town. The hotel is quite new hence it was very clean. I enjoyed my stay. Thank you.

HHanieyIt's cool to be here. Simple but all the facilities are enough for that stay. Provided 2 packs of nasi lemak with tea o Hot which is Nasi Lemak is delicious! It's worth it with breakfast & don't expect more. The important thing is to be comfortable to rest the body. Keep it up! ❤️👍🏼

CChuaCynthia- We actually top up money for room with Jacuzzi. There is another room type that they did not showed in the options, which is Premium (with Jacuzzi). Staff said their room used to have Jacuzzi but most of them malfunctioned, hence now the room with functioned Jacuzzi called Premium room type. But when we used the Jacuzzi, got centipede came out😭😶
- We want to order room services for our dinner, no one answer the call, no reply on Whatapps, hence we decided to walk to their restaurant and order at the counter but the staff told us the kitchen was closed for that evening without any notice. Their front desk staff & restaurant waiter not even know about that before we went to order (because upon our order they went to the kitchen to check with the pic)
- The breakfast served cold.
- The receptionist not responsive on the phone, we tried to call few times but no one answered. End up we need to go to the reception and wait for them to show up.
- In overall, I could concluded that the hotel has a good ambitious, but the management need to pay more attention on the room facilities, hotel facilities and the services.
- I am expecting a 3-Stars staying experiences however I don't think this stay worth it.

GGuest UserWe check in the hotel, found a track bottom and dental paste tube left in the toilet. The room is properly done. Immediate response once complaint is lodged. The running water stop at peak times few times in the morning, reason owing to the water pressure. Location is strategic facing the beach. Check the amenities available before travelling.
