"It's very peaceful and the hot springs are very comfortable. Looking at the snowy mountain tops in the distance, it feels like a fairy tale. The nearby scenery is also worth exploring. I encountered a small grizzly bear and a deer, and I want to go there again."

GGuest UserNice place to stay, in a good location to walk around Radium. Rooms are a touch small, but it’s still a great place to stay! Breakfast is also great! Would stay again!
GGuest UserDogs barking and howling, called the front desk, little was able to be done till owners finished their dinner. They must have paid more per night while they enjoyed their dinner we had to listen to their dog.
GGuest UserGreat stay here. We got a restaurant voucher for passing on room cleaning when we were only staying one night anyway. We got coffee for the second morning, so I didn’t feel like I was missing anything. The room was clean and bright. The restaurant had a great breakfast. There is also a good gym. I was very comfortable.
SShanAbsolutely perfect for our needs. Lovely view of the ski slopes. Spacious room with kitchen. Gas fireplace. Underground parking. Spotlessly clean. The only issue was the broken elevator which is beyond their control. Great value. We would be happy to return .
GGuest UserThe facility is poorly maintained. There was visible mold throughout the unit, especially in the bathroom. The hair dryer didn’t work, the coffee maker was dirty, fridge wasn’t cooling well, no ice machine, there were insects around the room, and the place was noticeably dusty. My wife even started having an asthma attack due to the poor air quality. For $420 a night, I expected much better.
Staff are very friendly though. And the location is great!
LLyssaGThe Alpen Motel was very clean and well located between Radium Hot Springs Village and the hot springs themselves. The Sinclair canyon is a beautiful sight a short walk up the hill. The room was small, but had everything needed including AC for the uncharacteristically hot weather. The whole experience was very hands off, with the office being at the Apple Tree Inn across the street.
Unfortunately housekeeping did not come while we were out, so we did not have refreshed coffee for the second morning. The power also went out twice (night and then again in the morning) and there was no backup power source. This is of course no fault of the hotel’s, but it would have been nice to have an emergency light source in the room.
XxuwenClean, nice attitude from staff, convenient location. The township has some creepy people. Recommend it to stay before entering USA, close to border crossing
