My husband and I had traditional afternoon tea at Fawsley Hall and it was simply wonderful. The setting was very picturesque, a fabulous start to what was a lovely treat. The tea and coffee, sandwiches, scones and cakes were all very tasty, I couldn't fault a thing. It was a lovely selection, particularly the cakes as there was a nice variety of flavours and textures which all balanced well. The service was fantastic, everyone was so friendly and very attentive. I would definitely visit again and would thoroughly recommend!

What a fantastic building! The tudor manor has been restored / refurbished to a very high standard. Having tea / pre-dinner drinks in the Great Hall felt really special. Generally there is a feeling of comfort and relaxation in a stylish setting. Our (accessible) room was large and comfortable, with a great wet room. The style of the bedroom was not quite as impressive as the high-end communal rooms, but perfectly acceptable. We didn't use the Spa, so can't comment on it. We ate in the restaurant both evenings: the food was very good and nicely presented. Again, the setting is fantastic tudor. The cooked breakfast was superb.

We booked Fawsley Hall for a memorial for my father, who would have been 95. We chose the Salvin boardroom as this was the perfect size for the event. In the months leading up to the event, we were well loked after with regular updates from the event liason, Jodie Smith, always very helpful and supportinve of our requests. Payment was taken easily and no hiccups at any stage with the administration. On the day of the event, our activity waiter, Manu, was very attentive and discussed all elememts with me as we progressed through the afternoon, he was always available but never in the way, which is exactly what you would want. There were a number of younger children with us as well who were able to have a great time also, so much so that one of the little ones asked after if they could go back 'to the restaurant'. We booked an afternoo tea, as my dad would have liked this kind of event and had made a special request in memory of the fact that at any family event he'd always make sausage rolls and jam tarts, so we had these as part of our food for the afternoon, and this too was excellent, as was all the food and drink. Well done to the whole team!

Visited for Sunday Afternoon tea as a birthday celebration. We were really looking forward to tea in the splendid Great Hall but it did not live up to expectations. The food was bland and lacking in colour and variety; the cake selection was boring being mainly creamy confections of the same colour and no refill of tea or coffee was offered. It certainly wasn't worth the money and we have had better elsewhere for less cost

A beautiful place, fantastic historical vibe, grand features, spacious, clean with very friendly, helpful staff, great spa & lovely rooms. The food was great, service with a smile from every member of staff except 1 therapist (but that didn’t spoil it). The 2 issues which spoilt it was (1) the temperature in the room, air con not very effective so maybe don’t visit in hot weather as was not possible to sleep comfortably. And (2) groups with kids should either be made to control their children or not be allowed in areas where guests have a right & expectation to peaceful rest (in the spa & in bedrooms). They should be allocated rooms/spaces away from older guests but should not be running, jumping & shouting in their rooms at 12 midnight. If not for these it would have been “Excellent”. The staff, waiters, night manager, spa receptionist all work so hard and deserve a better review but FH need to address these issues.

Fawsley Hall hosted my birthday tea party, and it was an experience filled with elegance, great service, and amazing food. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and courtesy, setting the tone for an exceptional celebration. The setting was simply breathtaking – the hall exudes historic charm, and the well-maintained grounds added to the enchan**ent of the day. We were seated in a beautifully decorated room that perfectly complemented the occasion. The service was impeccable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. They were attentive, accommodating, and friendly, making us feel like royalty. From the tea selection to the delicious sandwiches and mouthwatering pastries, every detail was carefully crafted, and the food was a true delight for the senses. Fawsley Hall created an a**osphere of sophistication and indulgence that made my birthday celebration unforgettable. I can't recommend this venue enough for those seeking an elegant and memorable experience. Thank you, Fawsley Hall, for making my special day truly magical. Special mention to Jodie , Valaria, Aby and Yildiz

We went for lunch. The hall is beautifully situated in very rural Northamptonshire. Down some small lanes, with poor road surfaces, but we'll worth it. Evidently the gardens and lakes were designed by Capability Brown. There is a small church nearby. The hall has been beautifully restored and the grand Hall is really stunning. You can sit here and enjoy drinks, afternoon tea etc. The dining room has lots of beams and has a nice a**osphere. Lots of helpful very smartstaffser ed us lunch. The food was beautifully presented and most enjoyable. I liked the courgette and goats cheese starter. There is an extensive wine lost..if you stay the hotel has tennis courts and a spa, as well as some pretty villages to explore.

Great accommodation all three rooms .Staff were superb in every area .Beautiful setting and such a historical background. The problem was the food .On our first evening we ate in the bar Three fish and chips one steak .The fish came as two small pieces .The batter was over crispy and was some %80 of the piece Had one taken all the batter of the fish made about four smallish mouthfuls .The steak came without any sauce and none was offered was described as overcooked and one of the worst he had ever Eaton . The next evening we went to the main restaurant..I ordered belly of pork to start expecting a nice juicy piece of belly with a hint of crackling .No I got a piece of tightly pressed piece of meat devoid of any juice hence limited flavour .Crackling forget it .My main was Dover sole .Nothing on my plate looked like any part of the fish .There was a very small piece of pastry which I was told contained minced fish and I do not exaggerate was possibly two tea spoons of fish ..There was a bit of jus adding colour to the plate and two one inch pieces of asparagus wrapped in a thin bread cover ..No one considered their meal to be any form of value for money or satisfying . It seems to be a modern trend for chefs to spend more effort on making a plate of food look like a Picasso painting using as few ingredients as possible but charging high prices .I just feel it is just being pretentious. I openly admit my opinion is just that one opinion and lots of people would disagree with my and would be entitled to do so .
