It was a nice hotel...staff was good...though a little away from florence station but was easily accessible by bus or by foot...walking distance to station is around 30mins...staff is very welcoming n helpful...staff always having a smile making the atmosphere very positive.. in short a nice hotel..added advantage the staff was informative about city..which made life easy for tourist..bus stop is just outside the hotel...

Great for its value of money . Walking distance to train station and main city of Florence. But if you want really close and convenient , I suggest you look between the train station and river. Service was great and rooms comfortable and clean. The bar was super cool and fun . We probably would like them to improve there gym. Maybe there swap over ping pong play room over to be the gym , it was way too small. All up we did have a great stay !

If you are coming to Florence (Firenze) via the train, staying at the Hotel Mercure Firenze Centro is a good choice as it is located just about a block away. It maybe a bit tricky to locate it the sign is not very apparent and is somewhat small. It is more visible from across the street. There is also a side entrance .When we were there in July 2022, they had a mandatory appointment time to reserve for the continental breakfast each morning starting at 7a.m. to avoid overcrowding and social distancing. Hotel Mercure Firenze Centro is a very convenient 10 minute walk to the Duomo. The service was very efficient at check in and they were very more than welcome to store our luggage as check in time wasn't until after 4p.m. The rooms are very huge and daily room service was good.

Few minutes walk from the station past McDonald’s (exit the station from the left). Hotel is set back so can easily be missed. We had a room for three, one double bed and a low camp bed. Rooms made up everyday and towels changed frequently. Wardrobe with plenty of hangers, safe, complimentary water in fridge. I asked if we could have a kettle and this was no problem. Bathroom quite big, shower cubicle with toiletries. Lovely white, big bath towels. Great location for lots of great restaurants and only minutes away from attractions. Rooms are quite warm but there is air con. Breakfast consists of yogurts, fresh fruit, breads, croissants, scrambled eggs and great coffee. Hotel staff are so helpful, even printed out our tickets for one of our trips. Would stay there again, next time exit the train station from the left!

Traveled to Florence before COVID and stayed here I came back to Florence this year to travel again and had to book this hotel again. Great location, service and the room condition were great. I traveled alone and they assigned me to a single room that is located right next to the emergency exit in the beginning. And it was really loud since people were coming in and out. I asked the reception to change the room and they assigned me to cleaner and quieter single room. Very much appreciated.

I enjoy myself staying there. Staffs are very friendly, speak excellent English, and very helpful too. The room are nice and clean. Location is excellent. Will definitely come back again

Great hotel that is very well located, its within walking distance of all the most famous places in Florence. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the lobby of the hotel is beautiful. We found the room and the bed in particular very comfortable. The food served in the breakfast is very good. Our only suggestion is to improve the wifi service, the internet was very slow and sometimes it disconnected. Everything else was perfect, we definitely recommend it.

From the moment I checked in, until the moment I checked out, I was thoroughly looked after at the hotel by the friendly and professional staff. Many thanks to Alessandro on Reception and Claudio from the bar for looking after me so well. If you are travelling from the airport, catch the tram to Uscita Place which is a four minute walk to the hotel. Keep to the left when you alight the tram and the hotel is situated opposite United Colours of Benetton on Via Cerretani. The location of the hotel is fabulous as I walked everywhere. I was upgraded to a Superior King Room, which for Italy was very spacious, clean and comfortable. I asked for a room in a quiet area of the hotel and heard no disturbances throughout my stay. The hotel is not very large and very contemporary inside with a good restaurant, bar and lobby area. I had a complimentary cocktail in the bar and all of my soft drinks in the mini bar were also complimentary and unlimited free water as part of my All Accor status. The breakfast was buffet style and had a quality selection of food and drinks, and an excellent selection of pastries, which I walked off every day. I thoroughly recommend this boutique style hotel for your stay in Florence due to its excellent connection links with the airport, it's location for all the local attractions and large rooms for Italian properties.

The Firenze Repubblica apartments are well located in the heart of Florence; you can explore the whole city on foot and have one of the best views of the city. The apartments are within a mixed use apartments building, but they are secure and there is a reception area as you walk in through the large wooden doors (note: this is a day only concierge area for the building, as opposed to a reception for the guests of these apartments, but the staff who are present when it is open are helpful and welcoming). Upon arrival, follow the address specified to find the apartments, and you are greeted by a positive and helpful management member. The management team give you contact details too if you happen to need them during your stay. The apartment itself is spacious, nicely decorated and generally well maintained. The view from your terrace is the highlight and unique selling point. It is stunning and well worth every penny. The terrace is a good size so you can relax there too. The apartment appears to be sound proofed as you hear no noise at all, it is also fully air conditioned/heated. The Prosecco was a nice touch on arrival, and you are equipped with essentials such as shampoo etc. as well as a large umbrella which was very useful! The shower although in the middle of the room, has a privacy curtain if you wish to use as well. I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a central, attractive apartment with a beautiful view. We were only here for a weekend, but as it’s so well located, you can see so much of what Florence has to offer thanks to this. It is also next to two taxi ranks which is helpful as Uber isn’t really available here. One tiny thing to note: there is no safe in the apartment we stayed in. This would be a great addition!

I have stay in this hotel for 3 times , first 2 times they upgrade me to a junior suet but this time they haven't do this. their breakfast is very good, their services is better, they are always helpful. Hope to come back again and they can do better than this time. I will recommend more friends to live here, the room is very comfortable and special. The nice guys is good services and doing very well on everything. Everyday have a different type of food on their breakfast. The services guys always smell with the peoples.
