Hotel Camilla Guelfa

Hotel located 5 minutes walk from Santa Maria Novella station, nothing more to add. Having read the almost total bad reviews of the hotel I was reluctant to book, but it was the only one available with check-in after 10pm near the station. From the reviews read I have to be honest, I thought it was worse than what I found, and let's say luckily they assigned me a triple room, even though there were 2 of us, so I can't imagine a double. Price quite high for the quality of the hotel. If you want a 'only' place to sleep, without too many pretensions, then it's fine. The location is strategic. In my room, there was the wall toilet, fixed too high, I laugh but I had to put a stool underneath for my feet, or put my feet on the shower tub to go to the bathroom. I'm about 1.75 and sitting without supports, my feet were suspended by about 10 cm. Dangerous shower cubicle as it was made with smooth tiles, so a child or an elderly person could easily slip. I advise the owners to invest a little to renovate the structure, with small improvements it would become a good hotel. As it is, to me, it's way below average.

Definitely, among the hotels with the lowest price, but an extremely disturbing, dirty and run-down structure. It is located quite in the center of Florence. For the managers, nothing to say, kind and helpful. I think the time has come for an intense renovation, to welcome visitors on holiday visiting a fascinating city of art like Florence.

Excellent hotel very kind we went down to Florence for one night at the Vasco Rossi concert they were extremely available very reasonable prices and hotel in the center of the city really reasonable prices you can't expect better for a hotel like this it could be an excellent point of reference also for families

Ho soggiornato in questa struttura dal 25 al 27 aprile con la mia famiglia. La posizione è ottimale puoi raggiungere qualsiasi meta a piedi davvero vicinissima al centro. La nostra era una camera tripla nuova, pulita e con gli spazi giusti avevamo la nr 42. La saletta colazioni un po’ piccola ma con tutto l’occorrente per fare colazione per tutti i gusti. Lo consigliamo vivamente soprattutto per la posizione

El hotel está ubicado en un palacete muy bonito, muy bien cuidado y decorado con mucho gusto. Las habitaciones son muy amplias, con techos muy altos. Las camas y las almohadas son perfectas. Tengo hijos adolescentes que durmieron varios días en sofá-cama y era muy cómodo. El desayuno es muy variado y está todo muy bueno. El personal siempre muy atento para que no falte nada y recogen todo enseguida. Las chicas de recepción son muy amables y simpáticas. Nos atendieron muy bien y nos recomendaron buenos restaurantes a buen precio. Está muy bien situado: a 10 minutos andando de la estación de tren, a 5 minutos de la Galería de la Academia y a 7 minutos del Duomo. Sin duda, un hotel al que volver y recomendable 100%.
