We had multiple issues with this property, but if you like old-italian rustic charm, this will be fine.
Check in was difficult because of communication barriers, the room was less than desirable and was dormitory style with uncomfortable beds.
We could not obtain a hair dryer and iron until the second day when it was too late as we were having family pictures done that first night.
We expected a cooked to order breakfast as it stated in the listing and the owner acquiesced after telling me that it was a mistake in the listing. But he made one set of eggs and bacon for one person in our part of four. Weird, but ok. I wasn't going to press as he was already irritated. Then the next (last) day, he was exasperated trying to explain to me that it was a mistake. By the time he got done with his explanation, we were out of time to wait for breakfast so I told him not to worry about it. He accused me of not respecting him. After that tantrum, I will say I lost respect for him, but I was respecting him.
The other problem we had was with transportation -- no fault of the owners. The Italian buses were full. 6 times in a row. We ended up walking down the hill to Amalfi and we ended up getting picked up by another bus --costing us more money as well. It was annoying and coupled with the experience with the owner, the "rustic" dormitory style room -- there is no chance I would ever stay in Furore again let alone this particular location.
