"The room was average, the facilities were old, especially the bedding was old, and the bathroom was small. The hotel environment was good, there was a garden, and the breakfast was OK, with fried eggs, bacon and potatoes."

"I called before arriving, asking about the bedding. I told them I was traveling with 91 yr. old mother and 67 yr. old sister. I am 71. They offer 1 queen and told me extra double would be very comfortable. It was a pull out couch. When you remove the cushions from sofa, there is a note pasted on the pull out that my sheet are in a bag in the closet. The pull out was metal springs. The bag has a top, bottom sheet and pillow with no case, 1 blanket. It took 5 layers of padding to make it sleepable. All 3 of us left for the entire day and when we arrived to the room at 6:30 p.m. our used towels were still on the floor and trash cans were full. Fresh towels were delivered to our room from the common open area, not thru the hallway. This stay was not what I expected of Marriott Residence Inn at $346.00 per night plus $15.00 per night for parking. Oh and there is a sign before you enter the hallways that tell you if your car is vandalized, Marriott is not responsible. Welcome to California in 2024."
