"Accommodation in the park is very quiet, but it is difficult to find if you arrive after dark. There are not many parking spaces, and they are shared with ordinary tourists. If you arrive during the peak season or holidays, there may be no parking spaces temporarily. The hotel has an unbeatable view. Convenient for sightseeing."

"I booked a double Queen room, and ended up in the Fern building. The room was clean and spacious. My sister’s family was in the Mesquite building, and their double Queen room was a little smaller and showed more wear and tear than mine. My room also had a balcony."
"The largest hotel in the Grand Canyon, with a century-old history and American retro decoration style, although some facilities are a bit old, but the room is clean and tidy, and the cleaning is in place. Turn left and walk 100 steps after leaving the hotel to see the spectacular scenery of the Grand Canyon. The location is also excellent.
The only drawback is the old-fashioned air conditioner in the photo. The air output is huge, the noise is loud, and the wind speed cannot be adjusted, which will have some impact when sleeping at night."
"Location is great and the linens are clean. However it is very old with cracked, old flooring in the bathroom and worn old carpet in the room. I suppose it's clean-ish, but for the price I would expect they should invest in some updates that would facilitate better cleaning."
Set on several acres of pine forest in a main lodge and 18 2-story buildings, this rustic complex is a 5-minute walk from the center of Grand Canyon Village and 0.5 miles from the Rim Trail.
The Lodge South rooms have cable TV, minifridges and coffeemakers. There's no air-conditioning, and rooms have stair-access only.
The main building has a gift shop, a food court and a pizza pub.

"Let me begin by making the readers aware that the Grand Canyon Plaza Hotel is more of a motel than a hotel. Entrance to all the rooms including the elevator is via the outside. It's not like your typical hotel where you enter a lobby and proceed to your room or the elevators. When entering the GCPH to check in the lobby seemed very clean but dated. The staff was extremely friendly. When we first entered our assigned room, it smelled of smoke masked by air freshener. We proceeded back to the lobby to complain and asked for another room. The second room was acceptable, however, the room was small, dark and very dated. We had breakfast the next morning in their restaurant off of the lobby and the food and service was good. If you are looking for a place to stay that is close to the park entrance but lacks updated features and charm, then this would be an acceptable place to stay at.
